Nooo. . Nigeria is not regarded as a majority English speaking country, so that option is wrong
Secondly, english language test isnt waec. . its tests like IELTS
It depends on what the school used to give you admission, if the required a test, then you might have to write one, if they used your waec, then you should fill "My higher education bla bla has made a decision bla bla

Please do I need a sponsor letter? My sister is my sponsor. My fees have already been paid. My maintenance money has been held in my account, in my own name, even though she supplied all the funds.

I want to know if I need a letter from her stating she's the one going to sponsor me for the duration of my studies? Should she also send financial documents, like her own bank statements?

I had thought that the maintenance money held in my own name would have been sufficient proof of financial independence

My WAEC is original. That's my only other academic document

Please I just saw on the ukba website that only originals of documents are allowed not photocopies.
But my result slip (of first and second semester) which was among the documents I used to secure the admission are scanned copies of the original.
It was scanned to me from Ghana, and the originals are lost. Can I print out the scanned copies? Will it be accepted? Can I explain in the additional information that this happened? The schools contact details are at the bottom of the document incase they need to verify. Will it suffice?

pholareen1: The sponsor is your school and their licence will be on the CAS document given to you. Its also a string of character (letters and numbers). Its different from the CAS.

Yes, contact them first thing on Monday and let them include the details of your latest start date on your CAS.

Yes, I implied that it is risky to apply using 14th as start date. The truth is you can't get appointment date on Monday, so assuming you get on Wednesday (3rd Sept), you'll have only 7 working days before school resumes. It is highly risky without extension for your resumption date.

DonOms: 1) All documents you listed, Appendix 8, and any other that may be a requirement on your CAS.
2)Once you submit your application, you'll get a link to book an appointment for document submission/interview (all on same day). If you pay on Monday, you cannot get appointment for Monday. It will be from Tuesday onwards depending on availability.

Ask your school for your latest resumption date and let this reflect on your CAS. You should be able to have at least 15 working days from your appointment date till resumption (latest start date).

So are you saying I should get across to my school (via phone or email) and request for an extension to my start date before the put it on the CAS?

Hello Everyone, I have two questions:

1. I'm expecting my CAS on monday. So I want to know the documents i'll eventually take with my printed application to ukba. Pls help me point out which is missing:

* TB certificate
* my Waec + university first year transcripts
* my passport
* my bank statement

2. Please how does the appointment booking work? I see people say the booked this day and that day. Lets say I pay for my application on monday, is that the same day i'll book an appointment? Is the appointment for submission (biometrics) or for interview or for both.

Please a prompt reply will be highly appreciated.

I wanted to know what this section was for? Is it similar to the Canada one, where you get to explain to the visa officer about your trip and possibly explain gaps in your education and stuff like that?

I mean my normal savings account. I opened a Pound Sterling domiciliary account for the sole purpose of holding the maintenance money for the 28 days. I'm saying if it's necessary to also print let's say some months statements of my savings account too. Or is the pound account solely sufficient?

Please can one book for an appointment even before receiving CAS. I have filled the ukba form, bar the information contained in the CAS. My CAS should come any moment now, so when it does i'll just update my form with the info needed. Do I go ahead and book appointment?

3. 30 for CAS; 10 for Maintenance; 40 Total.

Now I have paid the fees in full, but I received a discount (scholarship) for full tuition payment. Now let's say my fees was 10000 and because I paid in full, I actually paid 8500. Do I write 10000 or 8500?

Pls I have a couple of questions regarding my impending VISA application:

1. My 28 days was reached today. Should I print the statement today, or wait till tomorrow for security

2. I don't yet have any plans for accommodation. Will it affect my application? Please what are my best options

3. On my VISA form, how do I reply to the question on why I have suffered a VISA application rejection. My Canadian VISA application was rejected, but anyone familiar with it would know that the reasons are plenty e.g financial reasons, we don't know if you'll come back etc

And finally

4. How do I reply to the question "Do you have any money in your name?" should I answer yes? Because the maintenance money is in my account.
