Hi all, Please a friend of mine is trying to apply for his student visa to Canada but he is going to be sponsored by his mentor who has a completely different surname. Please can anyone advice on the best way to go about proof of funds. Should he use gift deed or what can he do? He intends to pay a major part of his tuition but he still needs something to show as POF. Any suggestion or recommendation will be highly appreciated. Thank you. |

Good day everyone and Happy New Year to all. Please is there anyone that can assist me with the contact details of an MP in British Columbia? My friend urgently requires it as school resumes this week and her visa is yet to come. I will be grateful if anyone here can help. Thank you. |

You are supposed to pay both if you did not do your biometrics capturing in Abuja. Hope this helps Morai123: 1 Like |

Good evening all. Please I was wondering what tracking ID I am supposed to use in tracking my passport after it was returned to the VFS partner courier. I have received my letter of introduction but my passport has not been returned. The tracking ID provided by VFS is not working on UPS website. Please help 1 Like |

I had initially sent my consent form, processing fee receipt (9930), passport request letter, and my actual passport before I was requested to pay 18710 because I did not send it in a return envelope. Jaykeh: 1 Like

Someone called me from DHL that my passport was returned from VFS with a letter because I did not pay my courier fee. I made the payment of about 18700 and sent it to his whatsapp. He packaged my file and sent it back to VFS for me on Monday then I got the confirmation mail yesterday. Jaykeh: |

I believe you can use a fixed deposit because I also used it and got approved. The maturity date on the one I used is next year August. I also added MBS and Money market funds alongside the fixed deposit. All the best CrystalMax:I used fixed deposit as part of my POF and it was still about 9 months away from maturity. 1 Like |

Good day everyone. Please I want to find out how to submit my passport to the VFS office in Abuja from Lagos via DHL and if there is any other fee that I will be required to pay to VFS and how to make this payment. |

Good day people. Please I was given provisional admission to my school pending when I complete two courses but I have used this to apply for my visa. I want to find out if this will affect my visa decision from IRCC. I submitted my application on 30 September and did upfront medical which was changed to pass on 24 October but no update on the portal since then except we are reviewing your eligibility. Please does anyone have an idea if these courses will impact the decision from IRCC? Thank you. |

I have had a similar experience. I did my upfront medical on 8 October and it was uploaded as passed on October 24. I don't know what to expect next. Wahab200148: |

Good morning. Please I applied for my Canada study visa at the end of last month and I also did my biometrics and upfront medicals on the last day of September. I signed into my portal yesterday and I saw that my medical results have been reviewed and that I passed the medicals. Please I want to find out if this means my Visa will be issued or if it may still take a while as every other thing is still showing under review. Has anybody had a similar experience with upfront medicals? Also, I want to find out if medicals still normally get reviewed even when they are denying you visa |
