Politics / June 12 Or Igbo Problem? by inyangprincew(m): 1:59am On Jun 18, 2023
June 12 or Igbo Problem?

Nigeria has everything to be a great country, save for leadership. Nigeria lacks leadership because the elites are focused on honey without any concern about the bee colonies. A friend used to crack the following joke with my "furies", what are my furies;

"Yoruba know how to share honey; Igbo know how to organize bee colonies; while the Fulani and Hausa know how to organize Yoruba and Igbo." And I will ask what about the Minorities? My furies unleashed...

European slave traders, who latter colonized Nigeria, fabricated Nigeria in the fashion that served and serves their interests. Nigerians got educated and exposed, recognized that they needed to re-organize themselves with some adjustments here and there so as to make Nigeria serve the interests of Nigerians, in the first place.

But these necessary adjustments here and there are no longer convenient. They're no longer convenient as they serve some overriding selfish components interests. These components interests are disguised under ethnic and religious umbrella, and united politically. These disguises make simple things complex and charged with high sensitivity. And so a simple economic problem is given ethnic, religious and political coloration.

To have peace, economic challenges are given political, ethnic and religious solutions. This worsens the economic challenges, while seemingly solving political, ethnic and religious issues that did not exist ab initio. Thus, economic development of Nigeria has been stunted and made impossible since Europeans handed over direct leadership of Nigeria to Nigerians.

Economic well-being of Nigerians is left at the individual level without effective and efficient macro support from the government. Government's macro and micro economic capability and capacity are deployed to solve selfish components interests rather than country's wide interests.

The fight is then a do or die fight among the components in the race to control the government.

Any attempt to bring the whole components together to groom bee colonies for the production of honey for the whole country is seen as subverting the sovereignty of Nigeria.

The only acceptable format is exclude some components, and there would be peace, otherwise Nigeria will be made ungovernable. NADECO, Niger Delta agitators, Odudua agitators, Biafran agitators, Arewa agitators and Boko Haram agitators took their turns.

Today, we are celebrating the outcome of some of the above agitators, the democracy day.

In the 25th February, 2023 and 18th March, 2023 elections in Nigeria, Nigeria and Nigerians reminded the world once more that Nigeria is yet to make any progress in resolving its Igbo problem since the last major attempt in 1966/67.

In the majority of the 36 States in Nigeria and FCT, Abuja, Igbo constitutes the second largest ethnic group after the indigenous group of the ethnic nationalities make up of the State and FCT. In some of the States, Igbo constitutes the largest ethnic group investors. This exposes Igbo very highly to State government's policies throughout Nigeria.

This high exposure is used both as carrot and stick on the Igbo, particularly during election and other high impact situations.

Property rights and right to live safely are the bedrock to economic development. And these rights are commonly violated and threatened to be violated throughout the country. And as we have noted, Igbo ethnic group is highly exposed with regards to their property and lives throughout Nigeria. Hence, wherever property rights and right to live peacefully are infringed and/or threatened to be infringed, Igbo will end up as being significantly exposed.

This is how to understand the series of religious riots in North since 1945. The same with the West's Operation wetie, Ọsọ Abiola, Push to Lagoon, Emilokun and the current Lagos State Speaker's property rights saga.

Though sad as is easily pointed out, Southeast, the highest enclave of Igbo group in Nigeria, has not organized its socio-economic space in an exemplary way since 1999. But, in 1966, when Eastern Nigeria was organized in an exemplary way, it did not stop the region from being destroyed in the inferno of 1967-1970.

Much more insights are required for the Igbo to begin to deal with the Igbo problem in Nigeria. So that one day, as we are celebrating democracy day on June 12, we may have a day for the celebration of Igbo Solution Day.

Politics / Where Is The Bark Of Onions? by inyangprincew(m): 1:44am On Jun 18, 2023
WHERE IS THE BARK OF ONIONS?

The fact that fighting is dangerous does not stop self-defence.

To settle America, the African-Americans must be settled. To settle African-Americans, Nigeria must be settled. To settle Nigeria, Igbo must be settled. How do we settle Igbo? Pa Achebe already stated that "other Nigerians" easily arrive at a consensus once Igbo issue is involved.

In the book "The Only Coup in Nigeria", published in 2010, it was proposed that Achebe and Soyinka should be locked in a room to settle Igbo problem in Nigeria. Unfortunately, Achebe moved on before this could happen. And everyday the unresolved Igbo questions push Nigeria further down the road to the Christian and non-Christian hell.

In 1953, the "uneducated backward" North so dribbled the South in a constitutional meeting in Lagos that the West were unruly to the Northern delegates. And North insisted they have had enough of "the mistake of 1914". Nine years earlier Zik through his resources (print media, mainly) mobilised the premier country wide Labour strike, which ended in massacre of Igbo in Jos, Plateau State and assassination attempt on Zik in 1945. Akin to Igbo fate in Ọsọ Abiola in June 12...

Of course, the West had to cancel her political tour of Kano (the North) in 1953, after the incident in Lagos and the spoiling for vengeance in the North. But the cancellation did not assuage the North from massacre of Igbo in the North in 1953 again, leaving out the Yoruba that provoked them in Lagos, since no deterring punishment was meted out to the culprits of Jos massacre of 1945.

Of course, the intimidation of Middlebelt, better known as Tiv riot climaxed and anti-climaxed in 1964 but a bigger meat was substituted for Tiv subjugation just as ram was substituted for Abraham's son. Yoruba was the bigger meat that suppressed the bloody vanquishing of Tiv riot. Akintola was the breakthrough, and blood flooded the land through 1965 in Ibadan and its environs.

The above and much more quickened these events: initial and preemptive coups. The preemptive coup succeeded in striking first, and deadly destabilised the initial coup. The initial coup remnants regrouped and struck in the revenge coup of July 1966. The bitterness of that revenge coup is still ruling Nigeria today and looking for the remnants of the preemptive coup of 15th January, 1966. Thankfully, OBJ fulfilled all that Nzeọgwụ requested of him about his immediate family. May the path of his soul remain sunny and fulfilling!

Vengeance upon vengeance like vanity upon vanity is vain. Yet on earth to love your neighbour as you love yourself will include incapacitating your neighbour from harming you without harming such neighbour.

How can Igbo incapacitate others in Nigeria from harming them? Once they can do this, then Nigeria's coexistential challenges are resolved and we can occupy our rightful position among other countries. Once this is achieved the mess in South Africa will stop, and African-Americans can breath.

But the bark of onions, where does it end?

Ọzọemena mana nke ka ọzọ na-eme...

IGBO LIVES MATTER EVERYWHERE ALWAYS

"...there is no coordination or relationship between people from the East at the National Assembly and those at the National Executive Council. It is one of my biggest regrets – that we don’t come together to meet and to agree on things,...And the reason is simple, too. Most of the (federal executive council) members from the South East are from a different political party. And so they see us not as brothers and sisters. So you call them for a meeting; sometimes they don’t come.” Senator Abaribe (courtesy of Rudolph Ọgọọ Okonkwọ's interview with the Senator).

1999 to May 28, 2015, NdịIgbo in National Assembly and in Federal Executive Council (FEC) were essentially from the same party, PDP. Did they have coordination, if yes, what was the result, if no, why?

NdịIgbo at NASS and FEC are supposed to be messengers of NdịIgbo. Yes, they're answerable to their political parties, but their political parties ought be answerable to NdịIgbo. When a people is not well organized, her political parties are her masters.

NdịIgbo should be responsible for the coordination of their representatives at NASS and FEC. If such coordination is not happening, the responsibility is that of NdịIgbo.

Right from the 1939 formal launching of One North in Kaduna, through the 1945 Jos and 1953 Kano killing, 1993 Ọsọ Abiola in Lagos, the genocidal 1966-1970 tragedies to the contemporary challenges and tragedies, NdịIgbo have been constantly challenged to organize themselves.

The damning current pressure from North and South upon NdịIgbo and the above confession from Senator Abaribe together with our history, indicate that NdịIgbo have not been successful at organizing themselves today.

Organizing a people for optimal society is an arduous work. It's so demanding that most societies despite past achievements are today decaying.

All the Igbo energy should be focused upon organizing NdịIgbo. Hating and calling the Northerners, Yoruba and the rest names are mere distraction and waste of precious resources.

Education / FG vs ASUU, MY RESOLUTIONS by inyangprincew(m): 6:07am On Oct 18, 2020
FG vs ASUU , MY RESOLUTION

1. FG should order them(ASUU members) to resume with immediate effect. So anyone who refuses to resume should be shown way out of the system.

2. We're just saying it, both the ASUU members and FG, many of them have no children studying in any of our local public universities. So they're unconcerned may be you're in your final level or year or you're just starting.

3. Either IPPIS or UTAS, why is ASUU stubborn on and about her decision? Why is FG also stubborn to give Education the best quality? Why is our Education in shambles?

3. Factually, I won't deceive you, both ASUU and FG are gambling or playing game on students. None is ready to suit another.

4. Did you know one of the reasons we have airports opened in September ? Because their children study abroad. If they fail to resume, they'll waste their resources.

5. Now I think if a school wants her final year students graduated, there's a need to call them back for completion of programmes.

6. Let me tell you, ASUU is FG and vice versa. Why are we now bamboozling ourselves? Who are the people in ASUU, are they not Professors and Doctors, the majority of people in Nigerian politics today.

7. The Truth why FG won't listen to ASUU, her counterpart is, the association is full of misappropriation.

8. The main reason why ASUU won't call off strike is FG has been a deceiver of the highest order. So if ASUU falls for her(FG) trick, it's risky on her behalf.

9. The best solution this time, is to find a job or learn a work or go into a business and make yourself happy. These people are not thinking about our misfortunes and worries. So bad, very bad.

10. And eventually ASUU needs to submit herself for resumption to Buhari's order. That's definitely sure.

11. Pray as well. Think as well. Then Eat as well.

Thanks.
Christian Acha

Politics / The Agony's Of Oshiomele And Tinubu As A Fairly Used Politicians by inyangprincew(m): 3:12pm On Sep 30, 2020
For the All Progressives Congress, it’s not raining, it’s pouring but the umbrella is with the hot-chasing rival, the Peoples Democratic Party.

Each time the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), boots a penalty kick into a throw-in, I begin to ponder the importance of secondary school education as a useful tool for political leadership.

Whenever I imagine how former comrade, Adams Aliyu Oshiomhole, hid his tragic flaws, and led labour unions out against governments, only to now fall face down to the very ills of hypocrisy and highhandedness for which he had countlessly grounded the country back in the day, I take heed of the idiom, which says character, like smoke, can’t be trapped in a fist.

The illogicality of some self-indicting pronouncements by Buhari leaves so much bile in the stomach and provokes the mouth to snarl the Igbo proverb, “If the oracle asserts too much power, it will be shown the tree it was carved from.”

Last week, Oshiomhole’s rootless invincibility was dragged naked to the Ovia River by his ruthless ex-godson, Godwin Obaseki, who decimated the godfather and set the Edo electorate agog.

Devastatingly, the Interstate Ballistic Missiles deployed by the coalition of enemies-turned-friends in the Edo electoral blitzkrieg also hit the chief priest of godfather politics in Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, ripping apart his political carapace while the song, “Edo no be Lagos,” erupted in the camp of the prodigally famous PDP.

Aside from demystifying Buhari’s APC and disgracing the Lagos-Edo godfathers, the battle for the soul of Edo between the two major political parties reveals that lust for power was the superglue that binds Nigeria’s political elite, and not the love of the masses because the countdown to the election was totally bereft of masses-oriented issues but abusive rants by both parties.

They are things you have to put into consideration before doing any kind business, not all businesses you see orvhear online are true businesses. People wake up and think of things to do in order to make money if they is no good thing to thing of they go into the negative part and start to convince people that it is working and after some time when the early people might have been convinced that the kind business is working they tend to impress people to join which might not end in a good way
So my brother or sister please think before investing in many kind of business before you end up loosing everything you have worked for

Religion / The Spiritual Significance Of Covid-19! by inyangprincew(m): 2:05am On Mar 27, 2020
Everything that manifests in Creation does so or is brought about strictly within the outworking of the Primordial Laws Of God, which, as an expression of God's Living and Perceivable Will, is engrained into Creation and accordingly governs same.
Thus every action and reaction, every minute happening or effect is brought about through and by due compliance with these Primordial Laws.
Likewise, the outbreak of the plague of COVID-19 like every other happening in Creation, unfolds by reason of the effects of the Primordial Laws, a fundamental aspect of which, ensures "just reciprocity!"
But let's not digress: For today, I only wish to briefly highlight the significance, albeit spiritually, of this plague COVID-19. And as with all plagues that afflicted mankind over the ages, COVID-19, carries a significance!
Thus, the following questions must be asked:
What then is the significance of a plague?; What "message" does it portend?; What's the objective it seeks to achieve?; and more importantly, What's the "real" underlying "cause" of same?
To resolve these questions, let us briefly go back "in time" into human history.
And so we see that all through human history, every "plague" has always served the singular purpose of "arresting human attention"!
Mankind's attention is cohesively "arrested" or "sequestrated" from the constraints of its hitherto cycle of mundane earthly pursuits, pleasures and joys!
Momentarily, every plague brings about an abrupt halt to all "systems" mankind has built around themselves and which gags its upward gaze!
Only through such "forceful interventions" can any possibility of the collective "attention" of man still be obtained, so that necessary focus to the desired "Message" which the Creator wishes to pass across through "substantiate activity", can be achieved!
Thus, these intermittent "forceful Interventions" not only have the effects of reducing Mankind to size, so to speak, by inducing the realization of its insignificance and vulnerability, thus preparing the soil for the necessary "inflection", but more significantly, the interventions are brought about by an infusion of intense "Divine Power" at the behest of the Creator!
Only in and through the outworking of "Divine Power" can the "overriding effects" of any plague bring about the complete and compulsory "arrest" or "redirection" of attention of hitherto obtuse mankind, so that, hopefully, the desired results may ensue!
Confirmation of my assertion is to be found in the very "Name" which mankind, through existing lawfulness has adopted for this instant plague- "CORONA" !
In the name lies the true indication of the"real essence" of anything. The name and substance, thing or individual are one and the same! "CORONA" implies by the Primordial Laws of Numbers: LIGHT, LIVING POWER; THE TRINITY, and therefore GOD! In essence, "CORONA" being a 6 letter word implies/means "GOD IN ACTIVITY" because it swings by the Laws of Numbers in the Number 3 or 66! The numeric representation of each alphabet letter of the Name "CORONA" when added together gives a total of 66 which translates to the Number 3!
Either way, the number 3 or 66 points to or signifies for earthly humanity now in the Judgement, the "activity" of the SON OF MAN - The Promised WORLD JUDGE!
Hence, as with all plagues which are brought about by the Living Power of the Creator, the instant plague- tagged "CORONA" is for Mankind of the present day, an "encrypted" or "coded" Message signifying an announcement of "IMANUEL" - The "WORLD JUDGE" in activity! Thus it implies the urgent necessity for Mankind to begin to collectively "concern and familiarise" itself with the saving Legacy/Work of IMANUEL as mediated by Him in the Work: "In the Light Of Truth- The Grail Message!
In every plague lies the "Message" of GOD to Men! In the plague itself lies the "speech" of GOD to its Creatures!
To illustrate, let us consider as an example, the plague of "fiery serpents" generated by God against the Children of Israel during their wanderings as depicted biblically in Numbers 21: 5-9.
In that historical account, we see that the plague itself was sent by GOD; It was thus a manifestation of His Power. The significance of that plague lay in "refocusing the gaze, trust and dependence of the children of Israel back to GOD and His Omnipotent Power" which was symbolically represented by the "serpent of brass" which Moses was directed to erect!
In looking upon this brass serpent (which in this case symbolizes a complete inner submission and reliance only on GOD), the Israelites as led by Moses where able to save their lives (which in reality signifies "spiritual salvation"wink!
Therefore, the ongoing plague of COVID-19 is a Clarion Call by the LIVING WORD Himself, which Call now "rings out reverberatingly through all the lands"!
And the "Message" is simple: "Adjust yourselves to my Will or face annihilation!"
May we not be found wanting!
Amen!

Education / 10 Ways To Ensure Success In Post-utme by inyangprincew(m): 1:47am On Mar 27, 2020
10 ways to ensure success in Post-UTME Based on past experience, here are a few tips and tricks on how to succeed in the exercise. 1.READ UP PAST QUESTIONS: This is very important for any student that wants to succeed in the upcoming examination Past questions serve as a guide to writing the examination. It gives you a clue on the area of concentration and makes you well equipped on what to expect from the examiners. Furthermore, so many tertiary institutions have been known over the years to repeat questions from the previous examinations. Some of the questions might be repeated and if a student has revised the past questions booklet thoroughly,he is sure to succeed. 2. ATTEMPT FAMILIAR QUESTIONS FIRST: You should start with quesstionos that you are really good at as this will give you the confidence to take on the rest. A student who focuses on the questions he or she knows best will do better than the one who doesn’t. It is always advisable to focus on the questions you know before you go for the ones you don’t know 3.TIME MANAGEMENT Time is part of the examination. They test your ability to work with time. Manage the little time given for the examination and don’t waste much time on questions you don’t know. Answer all the ones you know and then come back to the unknown questions before the time lapses. 4. BE CONVERSANT WITH YOUR ENVIRONMENT Visit your exam venue some days before the date. If you must arrive that day, arrive on time so as to make new friends that you can revise possible questions with. This will help you to get over the pressure that go with examinations. 5.GOOD KNOWLEDGE OF EXAMINATION TECHNIQUES OF YOUR SCHOOL OF CHOICE Different schools have different techniques for their Post- UTME. While most Nigerian universities have adopted the computer based test(CBT),others have stuck with the old PPT (paper and pencil test) Whatever the case may be, to succeed in the examination, you should be conversant with the techniques of your examination before entering the exam hall. You may find computer based examination trials on the internet and practice well so as to get used to the procedure if this is your first time. 6.OBEY ALL EXAMINATION INSTRUCTIONS You must read all instructions before you start to answer the questions. This is very important. Failure to read instructions can make any student fail an examination. Be sure to come to the examination hall with the right materials required of you to avoid disqualification in the examination hall 7. DO NOT CHEAT In order to succeed in the post-utme examination, do not indulge in any form of examination malpractice. Do away with materials such as pieces of papers containing answers or gadgets and communication devices that can implicate you and be disqualified. 8.DRESS APPROPRIATELY According to a popular saying –“dress the way you want to be addressed.” When going in for the examination,be sure to dress decently and appropriately to avoid harassment from examiners and security personnel. 9.REVIEW YOUR ANSWERED QUESTIONS BEFORE SUBMISSION Don’t submit your questions without reading through them over and over again to check for mistakes and probably questions you missed. Be sure to dot your I’s and cross your T’s before submission. There is no award for the first person to submit. It is not about how fast, but how well. 10.PRAY BEFORE AND AFTER THE EXAMINATION It is pertinent to always commit whatever you do into the hands of your creator. So, as a candidate ensure you pray before and after the exam so as to succeed in your endeavour.
Sports / Man Utd Want To Offer Jesse Lingard Plus £45m For Leicester’s James Maddison by inyangprincew(m): 4:31am On Jan 06, 2020
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is desperate to lure Leicester and England midfielder Maddison to Old Trafford as United look to begin the next stage of their re-building project.
And he’s prepared to sacrifice England star Lingard with the Norwegian boss believing Maddison possess the hunger and talent to make him a perfect fit for United’s future.
Lingard, 27, has failed to kick on at United and his poor form has seen him dumped by England boss Gareth Southgate this season.
The midfielder – valued at £40 million by United – hasn’t been involved in any of England’s last six matches since playing in the penalty shoot-out win against Switzerland in the uefa Nations League Finals in Portugal last summer.
Maddison, though, has been in red-hot form for Leicester – and has emerged as a major United target.
And although United accept it will be impossible to push Leicester to sell 23-year-old Maddison in the January window they are optimistic they can do a deal for the fiery Foxes playmaker in the summer.
United are prepared to almost TRIPLE Maddison’s current £55,000-a-week wage and put the former Coventry star on a whopping £150,000-a-week salary.
To match that Leicester would have to rip up their wage structure and make Maddison their highest paid player above top earner Jamie Vardy on £140,000-a-week and goalkeeper Kaspar Schmeichel on £130,000-a-week.
But the deal could depend on whether United can make it into the top four this season with Maddison desperate to add to his experience and play Champions League football.
Leicester are currently second in the Premier League fourteen points ahead of fifth-place United.
And they look a better bet to secure Champions League football with Soslkjaer’s men dogged by injury and inconsistency in the first half of the campaign.
That could tempt Maddison to say at the King Power Stadium for another year with Leicester, who bought him from Norwich in a £20 million deal 18 months ago, believed to be in negotiations with his advisors over a new deal.
But Rodgers knows it’s unlikely Leicester will be able to hold on to the star indefinitely if Maddison continues to develop – especially after seeing fellow Foxes and England star Harry Maguire join United in an £80 million deal last summer.

Sports / Shameful To Call Manchester City Boss Guardiola As Failure (oliseh) by inyangprincew(m): 4:24am On Jan 06, 2020
The former Nigeria international made the statement after a barrage of criticism against the Spaniard for his team’s current position in the Premier League
After 21 rounds of games this season, the Citizens are third in the top-flight table, 14 points behind leaders Liverpool and a point behind second-placed Leicester City.
During the week, Guardiola admitted he has failed since his debut season at Barcelona where he won six titles in 2009.
“I have failed year after year since I won six trophies in my first season at Barcelona,” he was quoted as saying by Marca.
“After achieving that, I have failed year after year. “ It is something that I accept, I have no problem with it.”
In reaction to the comments, Oliseh claimed that the former Bayern Munich boss should be judged by his winning ratio and his team development.
“How dare anyone associate the word ‘failure’ to arguably the greatest, most ‘titled’ and delightful to watch coach of the past 100 years is shameful,” Oliseh tweeted.
“You are judged as a coach by your winning ratio and how you improve players individually and as a team, nothing else! Heads up Pep.
