With all due respect sir, if you're collecting data (username, password, etc.) from your users then SSL is a nessecity though it doesn't guarantee total security.

That Nairaland isn't using it shouldn't be the yardstick for advising the OP againt using one. Mind you SSL is now considered a factor when ranking a website on major search engines so a blog needs one too.

Your CSS styles are read from top to bottm. So if you have a section you want to style referenced in both files, the one below will override the first one. If you're using chrome, right click the page and inspect element. Try to see the exact style your page is loading. It should give you a sense of where the problem is coming from.

Note: You can have as many css files on one page as possible.

If this is your first website (design) then it is not a bad one. However, there are a few changes I think you need to make.

1. The font size for website body is too small. I literally had to zoom in to read what you've written.
2. The follow by email input field on the side bar to your left is too small. If it has to be there, place the submit button just under the input field.
3. If you are using a theme, I think you should change it. To be honest, the website looks more like a high school project.
4. Remove "private and policy" from your top menu. Take it to your footer and rename it; the right term is "Privacy policy". You should also consider adding a terms of use page (place link at the footer also).
5. You menu should be in this order - Home, About Us, Advertise with us, Contact us.

I checked your site via the link you provided and nothing seems to be wrong with it. It is possible a particular page or link on the website itself isn't available. Is there a way you can find out from the company the exact page that gave the error?

Can you also confirm the link you submited to the compnay? perhaps you missed a character when submitting your url.

Actually, what it will give you is approximately 601. This is is because the square root and the factorial weren't placed properly. It will only give you 5 if the square root of 9 is placed in a bracket with the factorial added in front of the bracket

I called them, they said they've not sent out emails for offer letter yet but it will be done this week. For the interview, I don't know about that.
