Hello Please provide the VIN for this vehicle. Thanks |
Hello Could you provide the VIN for this vehicle? Thank you. |
Hello Please indicate the VIN and mileage for this vehicle. Thank you |
barule:Hello Please provide the VIN for this vehicle, and indicate its mileage. Has this vehicle been in an accident? Thank you. |
If the stated mileage were accurate this vehicle would certainly be significantly priced over similar models, other variables remaining optimal. 6000 actual miles represents a near new vehicle. |
mradonis:Is this stated mileage accurate? Is this an accidented vehicle? |
Hello Please provide the mileage on this vehicle. Thank you. |
Please include photos of the front of this vehicle, and the VIN. Thank you. |
tolusan:Hello. I don't offer that service, personally. But I'd recommend computerglobal for a paid comprehensive VIN report. The fees are insignificant comparative to the cost of the vehicle and the peace of mind you would have. He can be reached at 08060365068. Good Luck. |
Hello What's the mileage on this vehicle? Thanks |
Oh, and while we're on the subject of full disclosure, https://www.nairaland.com/4344737/toks-lagos-cleared-2009-toyota#65022168 https://www.nairaland.com/4326882/2004-tokunbo-toyota-camry-very |
TKolade:Smh. 'No accident'? 'No problems'? Job well done bro.
|
Hello Please provide the VIN for this vehicle. Thank you. |
tectonotimes:I saw this bold claim and this post yesterday. These are the dangerous people who enable our dubious 'dealers'. You mean you'd really be comfortable getting the vehicle in the image in your advert back on the roads? Probably as 'accident free' and 'minty'? You've made your bed. |
chukel:'Go silent on that and even mileage'? I have a problem with that statement and attitude. Full disclosure is the way to go. |

This dude though. You clearly do not want to have a future in sales on this forum. You've somehow managed to entirely and completely miss the point multiple posters attempted to put across to you. I'll attempt once more to explain what that backlash on your post was originally about. https://www.nairaland.com/4182860/sold-2011-honda-crv-73000miles Take a look at this post, and if you still don't understand due diligence and full disclosure, then something's wrong. |
Hello... Morning bro. Please what's the mileage on this pickup? |
This particular 'dealer' loves to play the ostrich and stick his head in the sand. I'd wager that in the morning he'd saunter by this post, persist in his denial, and paste his repetitive and rather annoying advert. But we will not forget. His time will come too. |
I'd hazard that the reason you're against the Copart is that it's a free and detailed search, but the VIN check is paid and not quite as accessible, thus discouraging buyers. Oh, and the fact that only 1 in 10 'dealers' on this forum actually put up the VIN of their advertised vehicles, even after being specifically asked to. Well, in the absence of any real moderation of this section on this forum, these situations will continue to occur. And we will continue to identify these dubious characters. |
Anyway, the point Is, insist on running background checks on any vehicle you're interested In. Tons of dubious people on here looking to make a quick buck. There's another 'dealer' on here who's put up a totalled GX, completely transformed said vehicle, it's an even worse situation than this advert. Due diligence is everything. |
jarkbauer:Why would the sticker not be present? Are you advocating that dealers with vehicles with problematic titles and history deliberately not disclose the relevant information? Smh. https://www.nairaland.com/4182860/sold-2011-honda-crv-73000miles Is is really so difficult for the dealers with such vehicles to have their posts in this format? Wouldn't you be comfortable knowing the true and complete history of a vehicle you're interested In? In any case, even in the absence of said tags, the VIN would do the job. Even better, as a matter of fact. |
thebigkendo:If you paid attention at all, you'd notice that the point was full disclosure. You simply cannot get a vehicle with a flood title and massive/significant damage, mileage in the 300,000s for cheap and come on here to pass them off as 'non accidented' and 'minty' and 'low mileage 20,000'. That's unacceptable. https://www.nairaland.com/4182860/sold-2011-honda-crv-73000miles Take a look at the above. |

You just keep digging your hole deeper. |
EgunMogaji:This case was radical. The color even got changed! Chances are that this odometer reading would have been halved. Or changed to 10,000 miles like the cantankerous highlander fellow. Lying in wait for some unsuspecting customer. |
Oh, and you seem to be in good company in this section. A ton of dubious ads. https://www.nairaland.com/4302160/toks-very-clean-lexus-gx470#64959283 https://www.nairaland.com/4327497/tokunbo-2010-toyota-camry-xle#64977093 https://www.nairaland.com/4340689/toyota-corolla-sport-2008-tokunbo#64971609 https://www.nairaland.com/4328288/selling-cheap-2005-tokunbo-mdx#64971333 |
I suspect that your belligerence has already done the damage. Just do your due diligence bro. Nobody here has any personal issues with you, I certainly don't. Good Luck. With your attitude, you'll need it. |
I've mentioned this before and I'll do so again. If you post an advert on this forum you bear total responsibility for the advert. It is simply inexcusable to turn around and claim ignorance of merchandise you've put up for sale. The very act of creating this advert implies that you've done your due diligence in the matter. Your ignorance is no excuse. Oh, and this is a public advert deserving a public response. |
The vehicle steering column airbags actually deployed, in addition.
|
EgunMogaji:The very same. Examine the photos I posted up there. |
