bjmotors200:I see you're still claiming 'Accident free and 'first body'. Kudos. Your time will come. |
jeffdaniel:Could you respond to my inquiry above? Asked about the mileage, in addition to the history. Was it in an accident and repaired? Thank you |
Or you could choose not to provide the photo. Which would lead to other conclusions. Good Luck |
Readonee35L:You clearly didn't actually read this thread. Because if you did you'd see that I did ask him to provide those details long before he came on to lob insults and still not provide the requested basic information. I didn't even ask for before photos. Merely to indicate if the vehicle was accidented, and the VIN and mileage. Read the thread from the start. |
Readonee35L:Note: I'm not a guru, never claimed to be one. I probably don't have even half the knowledge about cars that you do. But I know about morality and I know about decency and honesty. Those are the things I know about. I have zero interest in purchasing vehicles from you or people like you. Who knows, I may not even own a motorcycle. But I've learned a lot from watching people like you and studying your manoeuvres. I used to respect you specifically, and your posts. I always assumed you were one of the honest ones. It's even more troubling because I'm sure I'm not the only one that sees your comments and realizes what they reveal about your mindset. It's disappointing to note how far you've fallen. Very. |
yungchap:True, but I believe you should let interested parties know about the history of a vehicle you advertise. You don't have to post old photos or anything, just indicate if it was in an accident and fixed, and indicate the current mileage with a current photo of the odometer displaying the mileage. That would go a long way to reassure your buyers. |
layzie:Hello Unfortunately I don't offer that service, but I can refer you to computerglobal. The fees are insignificant compared to the peace of mind and reassurance you'd have. He can be reached at 08060365068. Good Luck |
thebigkendo:Yeah, I suspect I know why he's taking it all so personally. Your own thread is still there for interested parties to view and take note. You can spew all the insults you want bro, just do the right thing and let people know the history of your vehicles. Reality check: What would you do? Your sister goes car shopping and coughs up 4 mil + for a 2006 Lexus rx330, car LOOKS clean, no body dents, mileage on dash 99,000 miles, seems to be in good condition. Pastor comes and blesses car and y'all pop some bottles. 6 months later, you discover incidentally that the vehicle was significantly flooded, had a rear and front collision and original mileage was 200,000 miles, and the dealer never revealed any of these facts to your sister. Even claimed it was 'clean' and 'non accidented' Let your reaction to this discovery be your judge everytime you put a vehicle up for sale on this site or anywhere. I think I've made my point here. Have a field day with the insults. |
Readonee35L:This guy is just bitter because he's been schooled before. At no point did I suggest that you and people like you should not purchase from hurricane Irma itself or any scrap yard in Houston or Chicago. My point all along has simply been FULL DISCLOSURE and DUE DILIGENCE. That's All. Don't come on here to spew all this spiel then put up an accidented and flooded vehicle, hide that very important information about the vehicle you advertised, and pretend it's 'clean' or 'non accidented' or 'minty'. It's your choice to sell whatever vehicle at whatever price in whatever condition. Just ensure you indicate the history of the vehicle. It's really simple to understand. I'm not sure how I can possibly make it any easier for you to understand. |
I applaud your taking the initiative, but I'm sure you understand that a photo of the odometer with the mileage displayed as it currently is at the vehicle location would be best. Thank you |
morbash:I see However I think you've jumped the gun or misunderstood me here. I asked for a photo of the current mileage from the vehicle odometer now, not the official reported from the site. That would reassure buyers that the odometer wasn't tampered with in any way. |
I'm sure you understand that that would convince buyers more than randomly quoted and pasted numbers. |
elshanAutos:I see...It would be more reassuring if you would obtain a photo of the odometer of this vehicle with the mileage displayed. |
elshanAutos:But that's lower than the last official reported mileage... A photo of the odometer displaying the mileage would clear up this confusion, thank you. |
morbash:That seems to be even lower than the last official reported mileage. A photo of the odometer displaying the mileage would clear the mix up up nicely. Thank you |
I believe appealing to this dealer's good judgement would encourage him to be forthcoming with the VIN and mileage information. Thank you |
Meanwhile I would be glad if you'd provide the mileage as requested. |
I'll invite a few stakeholders to see how I've been able to assist you. Perhaps they could be of some assistance as well, who knows. Interesting finding this night. This dealer seems to either have edited his images in an attempt to obscure identifying information, or lost them, in error. The latter would explain his disappearance from this post after the request for mileage. No worries, I am here to rescue, and offer my assistance to, you.

doctorbj4real:Will respond to this in the easiest possible manner. https://www.nairaland.com/4182860/sold-2011-honda-crv-73000miles Good night. |

You had multiple opportunities simply to disclose the history of this vehicle and you chose not to. Well now any interested parties on this thread now or in the future, would see all of this and the goal of sensitizing buyers on the tricks sellers here use, would be achieved. It's your advert so you're at liberty to post whatever messages you so desire, the mission has been accomplished here. Good Luck! |
doctorbj4real:Those are synonyms for deliberate deception and deliberate lack of full disclosure intended to deceive buyers into making a purchase without taking all the relevant facts into consideration. If you looked carefully you'd see an advert directly below the definition in the image for fraudulent. It's an advertisement that just popped up, a Toyota camry for 650,000 on Jiji or some other online site. That was a happy coincidence but now I'm glad because even if you don't understand the words, I'm sure you can understand the images. You're welcome. |
doctorbj4real:Oh sure, happy to oblige.
|
Mc23:Noted, but I think you should make the necessary information available on this forum and post, since you made the initial advert on this public forum, and I'm sure interested parties in your vehicle would also like to have this information. Thanks |
Here's a bonus for you.
|
doctorbj4real:For the interested parties in this vehicle, these are the true facts about the vehicle which the dubious dealer has chosen to hide. Take note of them in any further transactions with him.
|
doctorbj4real:Your dubious and underhanded approach to your business, unfortunately for You, affects the rest of this public forum. It's fraudulent people like you that make this an unsafe place to conduct clean transactions. There is no dealer here that would be hesitant to post these simple and basic details viz VIN, mileage and provide a basic history with full disclosure of any relevant issues. You can hurl all the insults you want, but my aim is to single out people like you who choose to rip unsuspecting buyers on this forum off. When they get to this post and see these comments and see the true state of this vehicle and its history, they would note both your response and your username. That's how reputations are built and lost. So good luck. |
vlogger:Rather naive commentary. Never underestimate the power of the NRA. |
doctorbj4real:Smh Oga please fix this post and provide this vehicle VIN, mileage and history if this is an accidented vehicle. Please help yourself. |
lesterpullen:Misplaced priorities bro. Go through a number of posts over the past week and you'd see that a significant number of dealers here adjust the mileage and deliberately hide other information about these vehicles. If you're interested in any 'tokunbo' vehicle here, request the VIN of the vehicle, and its current state and mileage, and compare your findings, before scheduling an inspection of the vehicle in a reasonable location. Any discrepancy in the VIN report should raise red flags for you. VIN findings cannot be modified arbitrarily, and they are almost always accurate. If you're interested in a vehicle pre owned in Nigeria...Well in that case physical inspection is most important. That encompasses documentation verification and all of that. In that scenario, the VIN would be less important. |
