ticking the most appealing answers is not always the best...people who answered few but more accurate answers often end up with higher scores. most CBT often rely on accuracy when selecting from a long list of candidates. someone who answered only 40 questions out of 50 and got 38 correctly (38/40*100=95%) may rank higher than someone who answered all 50 but got 42 correctly(42/50 * 100=84%). All the best.

In other words ur saying if I had answered 10 questions out of 50 and got the 10 correctly...I'll get 100% ...wonderful!!! Nairaland is simply amazinnggg

Well I read all d instructions..had two extra minutes so I went back to cross check esp when I saw d beginning and ending part of d herodotus passage in #15 or so which I didn't see earlier I became very vigilant. BTW if u weren't asked to pick two answers u can't click on another option. #IMO

yes, wen u get to those parts u will see the instruction that says choose two answers, so if it does not specify I believe u might not be able to choose more than one.

My verbal reasoning was the same...but did you notice that some passages weren't complete at the beginning but wwere completed at the end? Or was mine different?

Well mine wasn't complete till d end....I scrolled up and down and I didn't get the complete passage...until the last questions. I had 2extra mins so I went back to check and see if the passages were complete for the 1st questions and they werent...pls did annyother person have this same challenge?

Yea, I took time to count the number of conpass 08 shortlisted in my state too and its very low...something arnd dat figure u mentioned, abi u're from my state nii (OGUN) ??

I'm actually curious to know the selection criteria they're gonna use, as in d passmark to shortlist for interviews. Any idea guys ??

Nope Anambra...actually I checked and I think every state has abt 1400 or1500 candidates each...its prolly going 2be on equal basis(quota)....well God help us.

Yeah I noticed too....I think we were meant to answer them the way they were. Like some of the passages didn't hv d intro and conclusion for some questions and later some questions had the complete passage...some paragraphs were cut out and we were asked to answer specifically on them...or what d'you think? Does anyone have an opposite view?

I repeat d maths isn't something to worry much abt. U shld be more worried abt d current affairs...mine was outta dis world.

Maths...jst basic operation of addition, percentage, ratios and average.

English...more of verbal reasoning where u are asked to pick two statements that u consider to be true based on a given passage.

And the Logical part is jst for u to study d pattern of some given shapes and use ur LOGIC to determine wch shld come next.

For the current affairs...don't rely on the questions making waves here as the chance they'll be repeated is close to Zero.

A first class brain like you shld not have a problem with the questions. Goodluck again
