You won't know till d paper copy gets to u. Iqas doesn't give you an online copy. That's why i said I can't wait till I get the hard copy to prove that WES is overrated and it's staff constantly on drugs

I just got a heartwarming mail from IQAS. My evaluation is completed . I've been waiting to proclaim dt WES isn't the only ECA org that is fast with d ECA process. I'm also waiting to get my ECA report so that I can finally say that WES is OVERRATED!

We both acquired ours before bsc. Was urs before or after? I'm guessing depending on your school, Mayb that is why yours is evaluated as bsc.

I really appreciate the united efforts you guys are making to ensure we achieve this feat. Please i would like to confirm a few things about my work history. I'm currently in Nigeria and hope to apply from here.
- I have applied for a student's visa in the past, hence CIC has info in my work history. I have now worked for 4 different organizations in past 5 years and the job descriptions fell into 3 different NOCs.

The first 2 employers covers a total of 2yrs experience with 2 different NOCs, while the last 2 (including my current work) covers a total of 3.5 yrs experience with same NOC.).

Meanwhile the first company I worked for has been liquidated, hence my supervisor can't issue me a reference with official letter heading paper, but I listed this liquidated company while applying for my student visa in 2011 (which was refused due to insufficient funds).

Can I ignore the first two organizations (including the liquidated company) and fill only the last two organizations where I gained the required 3 yrs experience, which would also give me the maximum point for work experience?

My major concern is that the liquidated company's info was included in my student visa application in 2011,and I feel that CIC would expect me to include same details on my work history for the Perm residence application. Not sure if my application will be rejected if I omit this information as I can't produce a reference letter with the official letter heading.

Finally,I would like to get a clear information on the documents required to show the skilled work completed as a self-employed person who worked as a director of his limited liability company. I understand we need letter from clients or 3rd party, but I would like to get the full document details/checklist to support the self-employed work experience.

You can fill company Number 3only...however when you get ITA, you'll hve to include all those other companies on the personal history form on the electronic application.

For ur 2nd question in addition 2d docs listed, I'm thinking ur cert of incorporation from CAC, coy bank acct details, rent/lease receipts and any other document that supports ur case.

Go to nls website, you will see a form for transcript you are to fill. Fill and get the bank draft payment for designated country you're sending to and send it to them. That's how I got them to send mine to WES.

How much does IQAS cost and how long have you been on it? i.e., how soon will your credential be assessed?

$275CAD. I paid last week tuesday but my documents from school were sent on monday. On IQAS' website ECA takes 10days business days.

Pls can you tell me hw u got ur transcripts from NLS? I've written several mails to them which hv all gone unanswered.

Well I'm not even sure again if I you shouldn't include ur law school transcripts + certificates. Coz i only sent my LLB to WES and sometimes I cnt help but wonder if that was why they assessed it as a Bachelors degree. Well...I've decided to get a 2nd opinion b4 filing e-APR...so I paid IQAS but I didn't include my Law schl cert and I'm still wondering if it's needed. Maybe NittaJ and debeams (I think debeams said she sent her NLS transcripts to WES) can help us with this and what their WES. Assessment reads.

I don't know abt mastercard...this one they disabled Naira mastercard for Online trans.

WES and IQAS should evaluate ur degree well. Pls check IQAS' website and download their detailed assessment template for Nig. Check the comparability of ur degree in CA, also use WES' equivalency tool and choose the organization whose assessment is more favourable.

I do not tink that there's a moneygram option o.payment is usually thru card or western union for WES.

Don't worry, you can change the file you have uploaded as many times as possible. As you have realised, all your documents under each sections have to be combined as one pdf before uploading them in their respective placeholders. You will only get the option to submit your application after all the spaces to upload documents are filled up. Payments come just before you finally submit your application. You will be given the option either to pay for application fees and RPPF or to delay RPPF till later.

I can totally relate with you on how overwhelming it could be. To avoid mistakes, try to ask as many questions as possible, even if you feel it is stupid. It could save you a lot of stress later

How many of these skilled immigrants get a proper skilled job when they arrive? Let's be factual. It takes time for most pple. Just a lucky few get settled in on time. That is where the international graduates are better off. They gain coop/internship work exp whIle studying. They understand d system better off.But the express entry system short changes them.
