Eyah!! I can imagine....the delay could weaken ones faith!! All the best!

BTW do you know about this ontarion pnp that's opening again nextweek?
http://www.ontarioimmigration.ca/en/pnp/OI_PNPNEW.html

I am asking on behalf a friend, his score is 417 and while he awaits to rewrite, he wants to know if this new ontario program would need an application or they will select randomly from pool.... what's the basis of selection sef? Seems they wanna change from past methods, now online if am not mistaken and seems I saw ielts lowered to 6 in each band.

Also, is it true that if you get PR via ontario @NP, you must stay in ontario province for a while??

Pls anyone have an input on this?

I'm really sorry...don't have any tangible info on PNP considering that I'm fsw. Other seniors will be helpful here.

I hope you don't convict me for contempt...lol
Well just choose the Lawyers and Quebec notaries Noc then when you get an ITA which I know will be pretty soon, you can enter your magisterial experience in your personal history form.
So just fill in the name of the firm or firms where you had your experience in litigation and be ready to get reference letters from the firm(s) when ITA shows and you want to submit your electronic Application (e-APR).

Congratulations! How did u decide on moving forward when WES didn't come up as expected wrt ur law degree? Did u decline that ITA and use that other one IQ...did?
I included both of them, however when I ordered my gcms notes, I only saw that WES was mentioned and accepted as being equal to a first professional degree in law. You may want to take a chance with ur WES ECA but pls keep at the back of you mind that it is in no way conclusive proof of what the officer reviewing your case will think as they may have different views on the subject.

Wish you all the best!

Thanks....yeah at some point I became lazy to open canny-related sites...lol. No issues apart from additional docs. Accra was painfully slow till my application was moved to London Visa office.

Hello house. Please has anyone tried sending application form and checklist to your school to include in your transcript package instead of sending another seperate package I.e double cost.
Can one scan the signed application form and checklist to the school to print out and include in your package? Has anyone tried this. Pls let me know your thoughts.

I did it and it worked perfectly for both WES and IQAS.
I sent the docs to my faculty officer and he sent them in a separate brown envelope but in the same postal envelope to both orgs. Meaning my transcripts were in one envelope, my certs etc were in another envelope but they were sent to the org in the same postal envelope. So you can do yours same way. Remember ur uni has to stamp across the flap.

The gurus in the house please help me out I want my ECA to be done by WES but please i need your input, since i graduated i have not collected my Certificate due to time only have my Statement of result, now i contacted my school for my transcript and i want them to include a photocopy of my certificate which they have accepted and i also told them about the Transcript request form from WES and the guy asked me to scan and send to him to also include , my people is it advisable or my school should just send only my transcript

Are you asking about the transcripts' request form?
Its VERY necessary pls. Not just for WES but for all the other ECA Organizations.go ahead, print it, fill it, scan it and send to the officer in ur uni.

I used WES so I don't know so much about IQAS requirements. A lot of people have used IQAS on this thread. Specifically, Iphie25 might be able to give first hand information as she used IQAS.

Sorry dear dupyshoo....just seeing this now.

Nievel, I didn't have to notarize my certificates when I got my ECA done with IQAS. Are you sure its a requirement on the IQAS website?

Thanks a lot please is evaluating the bachelor degree of law from nigeria please what documents do 1 need to send?

Please what is the process of filing and sending documents ?

Is law school certificate attached also?

Please reply

You don't need Law school transcripts.
Download the forms from IQAS' website. Fill the forms and send to your school. Include a copy of your certificate and Intl passport and send to your school so that they can include them when they are mailing ur transcripts.

IQAS sent e-mail today with an attachment stating that wifey's law degree has been evaluated as a 1st professional degree while we await the hard copy. Thanks to @iphie for d guidance.

I'm glad to hear this! Seems they took my feedback on establishing more communication with clients or did you specifically request for this? I already feel like a shareholder in IQAS...PPR should come so that I can sharply go to gov of Alberta to demand my dividend(s). grin

@iphie25, @bigfido and everyone.... Thanks for the great job here. I called IQAS last night, a young lady answered the call politely, and after explaining to her that my institution sent all my application documents along side with my transcripts, she asked for my file number and I gave it to her. She told me to hold for few seconds and then she apologized for the mix up and thanked me for calling them and confirmed she just saw my transcript in my file. And promised to send me another email stating that they will commence my evaluation immediately and apologized once again. And that was it... Like less than 2 minutes after our conversation over the phone, I received an e mail that they have commenced my evaluation.
I'm so happy and I see that they are very prompt and efficient.

Yeah...that's typical of IQAS. I'm really glad they have continued to live up to expectations. Cheaper, faster, more accurate ECAs and better trained staff.
See as I'm advertising IQAS like say na my papa get am...lol

I called my school and they confirmed they put my transcripts in an envelope, and then put the envelope with other documents I sent to them, all into a bigger envelope and sent it to IQAS. I don't think d mistake is from the school. Please how can I write IQAS and when?. Thanks

o

Go to d IQAS website on the feedback menu you can write to them. Signify that the message is meantvfor IQAS coz its d gov of Alberta's general site.

@iphie25, good morning everyone. Pls I'm confused HERE. I sent my supporting documents (passport data page, copy of certificate, check list and so on) to my school and they sent it alongside with my transcripts to IQAS.
I got an email yesterday from IQAS that " Application received. And ONCE THE ACADEMIC DOCUMENTS YOU REQUESTED FROM YOUR INSTITUTION ARRIVE OUR OFFICE WE WILL SEND YOU A SECOND E MAIL AND YOUR FILE WILL BE PLACED IN LINE FOR PROCESSING."
What I'm confused about here is that they have all d documents already sent to them by my institution, my supporting documents inclusive. Why are they still saying they will send me a second mail as soon as they get d transcripts from my school....

Maybe its a mistake on IQAS' part. I'd suggest u contact ur school first to verify what was sent, then you can write to IQAS afterwards.
