OLYMPIC Basketball: Nigeria looses third straight game, beaten 87-96 by Spain (PHOTOS)
Considered to be the Group of Death which consists of World powers in Basketball (such as Croatia, Spain and Lithuania) Nigeria are yet to win a single match in Group B at the ongoing Olympic Men's basketball in Rio. On Thursday night they yet again narrowly missed out in staging a famous upset against Spain but have to wait a little longer for their first 2016 Olympic win as they narrowly lost 96-87 in their third game. Nigeria occupies the bottom table of the group and still have to play tough opponents; Brazil and Croatia in their next matches.

Babsopey I have been secretly following this story an i must confess that I am very impressed with your writing skills, but however, here is my candid, sincere observations and advice;

1) That since this is all about a typical Yoruba characters, there was no need to use any tribe as the use of Uche (Igbo name) in the write up already depicts negativity which is the problem we have in Nigeria today.

2) No single use of an Hausa character which makes many to think that Hausas are irrelevant (in University Education)

3) That in the next story titled RJECTION I sincerely advocate for the use of only Yoruba characters (or otherwise all major tribes in Nigeria should be positively represented)

4) God bless Nigeria

I also just love making #CommonSense like KomonSense

Aruna Quadri’s hopes of winning Nigeria and Africa’s first men’s singles table tennis Olympic Medal were dashed here at Rio 2016 on Tuesday night at the Riocetnro Pavilion 3.

The Nigerian star had stopped some big names on his way to the quarter-finals, but reaching the semi-finals became a step too far as he came up against world No.1 Ma Long on Tuesday. The Chinese superstar was too quick and too sharp for Quadri, beating the Nigerian in four sets.

The match ended 11-4, 11-2, 11-6, 11-7 and was quickly over in just 28 minutes.

Nigeria's Olympic rower Chierika Ukogu makes history, reaches single sculls semifinals

Nigeria's first ever Olympic rower Chierika Ukogu makes history to reach single sculls semifinals. Prior to representing Nigeria, the United States-based athlete had rowed for Mount St. Joseph Academy and Stanford University.
The 23-year-old qualified for the Olympics in October 2015 at the African Olympic Qualification Regatta in Tunisia.
Congrats to her, for making us proud even in the midst of economic hardship in the country.

He should write his apology on a piece of paper and clean his arse with it. Can't believe that person is a minister sef. Is that really the sports minister? Because I still don't believe he is.

Sorry to say but the way he spoke was so insincere, very sluggish and annoying, like he is slow or something. I don't even know who the people were that were clapping sef, probably psychophants from the sports ministry.

He purposefully set the boys up to fail and if they had failed, he would have blamed the coach and sacked him.

Gosh !
Babe I know you dey vex...all of us are angry too...but he is just a human being not God
