Congolese footballer Ngoma Luamba who plays for Nigeria Federation Cup champions FC Ifeanyi Ubah today weds his heartthrob today in his native country Congo.


The lanky and tall midfielder was very instrumental in the success of FC IfeanyiUbah 2015/2016 football season as he also helped them clinch Federation Cup trophy for the first time in the club's history.

NIGERIA'S FALCONETS SENT HOME WITH 30,000 NAIRA EACH AFTER RETURNING FROM DISAPPOINTING WORLD CUP

After failing to advance to the next stage of the Women Under-17 World Cup in Papua New Guinea, the Falconets of Nigeria have finally been paid 30,000 Naira each on their return to the country by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).

A breakdown of the 30,000 Naira stipend showed that they received a transport fare of 10,000 Naira, while 20,000 Naira was to cover their camp allowances.

Even these paltry sums were only sourced from borrowed funds, it was further gathered.

In the meantime, traumatised defender Mary Ologbosere, has been discharged from hospital. Ologbosere, who has also represented Nigeria at the U17 women’s World Cup, suffered a serious depression when it became clear the Falconets will be get their full payment on arrival back in Nigeria.

The Falconets first showed their huge disappointment with the NFF when they threatened to stay put at their hotel in Papua New Guinea even after their elimination from the World Cup. They also threatened not to quit their hotel in Abuja until they were paid off.

FC Ifeanyi Ubah Trophy Parade: See the attire the players wore for the Tour, as Governor Obiano commends club Owner (PHOTOS & VIDEO)

After their Nigeria Federation Cup triumph over Nasarawa United in Teslim Balogun Stadium in Lagos which saw them book a continental ticket next season, players and coach crew members of FC Ifeanyi Ubah took to the streets of Anambra for their Trophy parade on Wednesday 23 November 2016.
The event was filled with colourful and artistic display of the club's banners as they were cheered by their fans.
But what caught not only my eyes but so many other people was the traditional Igbo attire which the players and coach crew members of the club wore during the parade.
To be frank it was very creative of the club but i still think that they over-stretched it.

Anyways, present at the ceremony was the owner of the club Dr.Ifeanyi Ubah, Governor of the state Willie Obiano, Former National Chairman of the All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA, Chief Victor Umeh and other stakeholders of Anambra Football.

But I love those traditional attire though, Igbo Kwenu!!!!

One-Time Super Eagles of Nigeria Target and Bournemouth star Jordon Ibe robbed at knifepoint and his £25,000 Rolex watch stolen

Bournemouth forward Jordon Ibe who was once penciled down to play for Nigeria’s Super Eagles, has been robbed at knife-point when thieves rammed his car just four days after Andy Carroll was threatened by gunmen.

The 20-year-old former Liverpool player had his watch stolen after his car was struck in Surrey Quays, south-east London, it has emerged. Scotland Yard said detectives were investigating the attack on Ibe, which took place near Surrey Quays Underground station at around 1.45pm on November 6.

Reports say that the assailants made off with the footballer's £25,000 Rolex. A Met Police spokesman said: 'One of the suspects threatened the victim with a knife before stealing his watch. The victim was not injured. 'At this early stage, officers are investigating whether the suspects intentionally collided with the victim's car.'

It is unknown what car the former Reds player was driving at the time of the incident which occurred this month ‒ although Ibe appears to be a car fanatic and has been pictured attending Mercedes car shows.

He deputized in the absence of first choice goalkeeper Ikechukwu Ezenwa to clinch victory for his club in the Nigeria Federation Cup final against Nasarawa United that took place in the Teslim Balogun Stadium in Lagos some couple of weeks ago. Disgraced Nigeria U-19 stranded after Angry NFF dumps them, pays them 5000 Naira only

Several Nigeria U19 players were stranded in Abuja on return from the Suwon International Tournament in South Korea after they were each paid five thousand Naira as transport fare back to their bases by the NFF who according to sources said NFF officials were angry with the players for disgracing the entire Football loving Nigerians and the country.
Nigeria lost all their three matches (8-1 to England, 1-0 to Iran and 3-0 to hosts Korea) to finish rock bottom of the competition.

Team officials received 10,000 Naira with head coach Manu Garba paid double that amount. The tournament organizers paid the NFF an appearance fee besides paying for their flight tickets and boarding in Korea.

The Nigeria U19s, made up by the core of the U17s who failed to qualify for next year’s U17 AFCON in Madagascar, posted a dismal outing at the invitational Suwon tourney.

After their shambolic 6-0 defeat to Japan in their first Group B match, Nigeria Female U-20 team known as the FALCONETS walloped Canada 3-1 at the ongoing FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup in Bava ParkPort Moresby (PNG) Stadium, Papua New Guinea on Wednesday.
