I only watch the program for like 3 to 4 times and the only thing I could notice was Lizzy's confidence, damn she's just very confident. I like her though cos I love confident ladies.


For the few times i watched it, i would have want lizzy to win but okiemute last perfomance was just too emotional, I guess okiemute deserved it.

All the preparation paid off. Relieved....

I used roughly 10days, jonsing for a better part of it . Had been preparing for the GRE verbal, so the TOEFL was somehow covered.


How I achieved my score -
Reading: This was straight forward, only got myself acquainted with what I was expecting on test day. Got question answering and time saving tips from Notefull videos on youtube. Previous knowledge of secondary school comprehension passage came into play.
TOEFL Reading easy sha.

Listening: Was also straight forward, Used ETS official test prep materials 3 and 4 (these had audio embedded in the booklet) + Notefull videos.

Speaking: Used majorly Notefull videos for the Speaking part. Other materials were dribbling me, Notefull had a defined formular.

Writing: Used Kaplan GRE booklet that taught about grammar (before the Issue and Argument tasks). Kaplan TOEFL showed me examples of what Writing answers looked like. Helped alot. Here, Notefull and Cambridge dey dribble me.

The funny thing is that what worked for A might not work for B.
Some schools are generous with funding and some are not. So basically, you should be careful with your choice of school. I know people that got into these schools you listed with funding, some didn't. So it's just about having a good profile and matching it with the right schools.

I've been following this thread on forexfactory since when it was started but never knew it was our own pipsbasketing that's behind it. But I'm always worried why we quickly help others far away from us while we have people closer to us that have been struggling here.

Strike out URI and MTU, except a prof is interested in you,funding is a long shot. Getting into URI is tougher than MTU.
CSU is a top school and you would need a top notch profile to get in but they're well funded. The thing is they admit more of PhD students.
Missouri state university is very good. You stand a great chance of admission and funding. Yeah I mean it,you can make your findings but you have to provide bank statement during application and they make their decision late.
Oklahoma is good too with funding and admission but I'm sure you still have to offset some bills which shouldn't be that huge, same goes for ETSU. In fact, you can getadministrative GA or tuition scholarship at ETSU.

Strike out Florida except if you have a first class and a gre score of 315+.

I don't know about Kentucky. Sorry bro.

For URI and MTU I think a friend of yours named CProf was admitted to those schools with funding, he stated that URI gave him highest funding but he choose to go Tennessee tech. Is there any reasons for that.

Please, I had a skype interview yesterday with the Prof I mailed, and I must say, it was so smooth (Thanks to happyday for that insightful tips), We spoke for about 1hr (very interactive).. But a little problem...

The problem is, The Prof said I should apply for a PhD program But I must be sincere to myself, I do not have the required cgpa(Though it wasn't stated on the school webpage). I had a cgpa of 3.54/5 but I will try as much as possible to do well on the GRE . I'm kinda scared because I don't wanna waste my time, money and effort on what I knw the percent of it assurance, Am I being pessimistic?(YES, I am) and besides the school is an IVY school (Brown University in Rhode Island)..

Any input from you guys?.. Please what should I do

Since the Prof has said you should apply for a PhD it means he sees something huge in your potential which you are not seeing. you have no worries babe. Your admission and funding is guaranteed. Just focus on your GRE.

I promised to give out a free GRE( It has been received by Adazlolly/Priceless200 a travelander) and subsidize 2-3 peoples TOEFL/GRE. The remaining 30% subsidy was booked by some NL'DERS but I keep hearing I need it next month, next year... We do not know what next month or year holds neither are my co-facilitators comfortable with hogging of opportunities, so I am throwing it open, It is strictly on a first come basis and I will not be keeping nor reserving a slot for anyone. I will be contributing to plauses subsidy scheme at the end of the month by Gods grace

I will continue my #novaseline in a bit, meanwhile dickoflife you are kinda of a dick but then it will come as little suprise to anyone. school is school, i'm kind of a hit with the white girls in my class. NL'ders you cannot refuse to write GRE and TOEFL and magically expect funding. for this reason I am going to pay for someones GRE and subsidize that of 3 people not exceeding 30%. i thinkl adazlolly has been sending me 2 mails a week for free GRE if she mails me again fine, but they are all up for grabs.
