I never know how fortunate I was to be a Nigerian until I travelled abroad and saw that our government even offer us almost free university education compared to what the so called west like USA, Canada e.t.c offer their citizens. You don’t have to be an engineer to apply. You only need to be a Canadian resident/citizen and apply as an apprentice in f you don’t have any experience in any of the trades. Once you get into one the unions, you will be trained and fully absolved into the union in 18 months. You can still earn while training, though you get paid the apprentice rate, which is even higher than the average minimum wage. After 18 months, you start receiving your full benefits/pay rate.
