I won't claim to be a writer... it was the debate I didn't go through... (goes like this if I can remember... a child success is due to his/her parents upbringing... discuss for or against) I finished but I didn't think I was good enough... sitting for 4 hours was getting to me... fatigue was piling and I lost composure coupled with the pressure... the last question I did not too good... but if I had 6.5 in writing... I'll not contest it... and I had just one week to study... but it turned out good... surprised myself... all I'm saying... one sheet... two sheet... it don't matter...


I even forgot how to spell disease in the listening section... would've had an overall 8...

But when you say you're sure, how sure are you? Cos something I noticed when I wrote is that very few people took extra sheet, meanwhile it's quite difficult to hit 250 without extra sheet. Apart from practicing with official sheet beforehand to know how many pages I needed, I actually counted my words in the exam Hall to confirm I was above board. This last paragraph is not necessarily for you, just my belated contribution to the discussion on Nigerians' writing scores.

I don't entirely agree... My 1st and only IELTS... I answered both writing question on a single sheet... yeah... I saw people demanding for extra sheet and my liver cut... because I didn't finish the second question per se... halfway through I realised I was wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy off point... I erased everything and started again... couldn't go through as the next thing I heard was pens up... Alas! My writing turns out a 7... and it was rough... everytime I thought about it... I'll tell myself... The 1st essay was perfect nah the second one get comma... realistically... was expecting 6.5...

p.s:

Most times... extra sheets gets lost in transit...

Sponsoring a nanny from your home country can be hard. Canada has an aging population, as a result anything in the healthcare industry is in big demand. Psw, nurse, etc. Most Canadian will not be caregivers, taking care of people's needs or changing old people's diapers. Lastly the caregivers are skilled workers from the Philippines. They take a 1 year intense course which costs alot. Then go through a background check, etc before coming here. These aren't anybody coming to Canada. Caregivers getting PR is understandable. I will advise you ask your school to include a copy of your certificate in their response to WES. That was what I did when I got a mail saying they were requesting further verification from my school. I called their customer service and they couldn't tell me why the need for further verification. Anyway my status now shows, accepted.

No Arsenal is not a small club. If they were, a 5th and 6th place finish in two years and three FA cup trophies in five years won't be seen as failure. Literally any club bar maybe the financially doped clubs (Man city and Chelsea) would take that. Heck Spurs and Liverpool haven't won anything in almost a decade and they are still praised and seen as top clubs.
