The initial version of the 2016 appropriation bill was available online on the budget office website and i have this version of the document. I have looked through it and there is NO appropriation for a Lagos - Calabar railway. That is the fact and the NASS are simply stating the truth.

He was busy fighting in Rivers State during the last rerun election and went to hide in his hole after losing shamelessly to Wike and forgot everything about the Calabar -Lagos railway project and never cared to solicit for its inclusion into the budget and now he resurfaced from his hiding place to whoop sentiments from my South-South people. We are not fooled.

Is it his duty to present budget to the Senate? How can he claim the Senators stopped something that was not even there in the first place?
