A young Nigerian boy is now the trending story after his craft was shared online. The 19 year-old Enugu born Ugwuoka Emmanuel constructed a modern storey building with what seem to be paper and other fabrics.

His work was shared online by one MC Zion Ebuka.

Using two pictures from the same event, Nigerian Research Scientist accuses Nigerian Nollywood star, Tonto Dikeh of faking speaking at the conference in Dubai.

In his social media page, the @therealdaddymo1 said, the actress attended the conference but did not speak at the event.

A female student of Rivers State University identified as Itonye Matilda Mark has been killed by unknown gang member in Port Harcourt.

According to the reports, Matilda, who was a final year Law Student of Rivers State University rapped and stabbed to death by unknown gang members in her lodge, off campus.

A man and his daughter from Okofia Otolo Nnewi in Anambra State have been allegedly banished from the community after the man impregnated his daughter for the second time.

A 500-Level Electrical Engineering student of the University of Port Harcourt, Prince Digbani has committed suicide shortly after announcing it via his WhatsApp story.

According to Gistreel, the deceased took the action in his room on Monday, after repeatedly complaining to friends about his lack of fulfillment in life. His friends said he had earlier told them of his intention and they strongly advised him against it.

They added that he went home to his off-campus apartment and by 3:51 pm on Monday, started updating suicidal posts on his Whatsapp story.
They said they called him severally but he refused to answer as his updates became more worrisome.

One year of the a 7-storey building collapsed in Woji area of GRA, Port Harcourt, the State Government is yet to contact or compensate the families of the victims.

Speaking with a radio station, NigeriaInfo FM in Port Harcourt on Tuesday, Elder Brother of Morgan, victim of Port Harcourt Collapsed Building Barr. Chukwuemeka Ihionu told Kofi Bartels during his Morning Cross Fire show that they have not been contacted by any government agency since the incident

Speaking on the show, Barr. Chukwuemeka Ihionu said: "We have not been contacted since then

"Commissioner for Health collected my phone number but nobody from Rivers State Gov't has called our family." He continued.

"Government officials were more interested in selling the thick irons recovered from the collapsed building.

"Only Rotary Club did something that the victims' families can commend.

"Government was only interested in using policemen to chase people at the site away.

"We have not received one naira in compensation from anyone.

"Our family had a hard time getting Morgan’s body released. We tried to see the Commissioner for Health repeatedly. After several attempts, we met him and he said only the governor could authorize release of the corpse.

"We were never called by the judicial commission of inquiry.

"My phone was tapped and monitored. I had to disengage the monitoring of my phone.

"The rumour flying around that the Rivers State Gov't gave our family 17 million naira is not true. We have not received one naira.
"Morgan’s cousin, Barr. Chi, who was very vocal during the rescue period has received several threats on phone from people in Rivers State.

"We had to contribute money to buy diesel for the excavator at the collapsed building site because days passed without any work being done and the workers said they were waiting for government to release money.

"If the rescue work was done properly and quickly with the right equipment, more people would have been rescued alive.

"Instituting civil service disciplinary action against officials of the Ministry of Works who approved the building is not enough. Officials who were negligent should be prosecuted." He concluded.

On his part, one of the Volunteer Rescuer, Agoboye Kalio said; "Government didn’t take care of the volunteer rescuers during and after the rescue"

While Kennedy revealed that; "One volunteer and one red cross official have died since the rescue work ended of illness related to the rescue work."

BelieveSpot recalls that the building collapsed on November 23, 2018, killing 17 persons while 31 others were trapped in the rubble. The survivors were rescued by volunteers, security agents and health workers.

The founder and senior pastor of the Salvation Ministries Church, Pastor David Ibiyeomie has announced his intention to sponsor the education of 1000 least privileged Nigerians primary school with the sum of N50,000 each this year and early next year.

A Nigerian couple has welcomed a set of quintuplets, three boys and two girls, 16 years after they got married and childlessness.

According to news, Mr and Mrs Egenti have been waiting for the fruit of the womb since they married in 2003.
After many years of waiting, they tried several medical options including IVF, all to no avail. However, Mrs Egenti, an indigene of Anambra state, said she miraculously took in and after completing the mandatory 9-months gestation period, she welcomed her babies at the National Hospital Abuja.

Speaking from her hospital bed, 44-year-old Mrs Susan Egenti, a trader in Abuja, said; “I have been married since 2003 with no children, not even to get pregnant and have a miscarriage. Every time we attend a child dedication either in our church or elsewhere, I always come home crying, praying for the day God will have mercy on me and grant me the fruit of the womb''.

The EFCC, Lagos Zonal office has said it has uncovered jailed Hope Olusegun Aroke - H-Money - a convicted internet fraudster who is currently serving a 24 years jail term is still in active communication with other high valued targets. BelieveSpot reports.

According to tweets made by the Commission on Monday;

"The EFCC, Lagos Zonal Office, has uncovered that Hope Olusegun Aroke a convicted internet fraudster currently serving a 24 years jail term is still in active communication with other high valued targets that are currently being investigated by the Commission for various offences relating to computer fraud and money laundering

"Investigation revealed that he masterminded the commission of internet scam worth over $100, 000, OOO (One Million Dollars) whilst serving his jail term."

In 2016, Justice Lateefe Okunnu of the Lagos State High Court, sitting in Ikeja convicted and sentenced Aroke, then a 25-year old undergraduate of Kuala Lumpur Metropolitan University Malaysia, to 24 yeas imprisonment for his involvement in an internet scam that fetched him 25m.
