Jobs/Vacancies / Re: NDLEA Recruitment 2023 Official Thread by iPrinz20(m): 4:44pm On Jun 01, 2023
Why put people through the stress of writing assessment when you know the final outcome will be skewed.

You gave out a cut-off mark and yet couldn't show people their score.

The whole assessment was so terribly executed that one wouldn't know if his/her assessment was successfully submitted.

Does it mean no one here scored 80% and above?

Maybe we will call it a day for anything government work until we find our own reliable godfather.

Not everything is slot or godfather.. There are lots of people who got the job without knowing even the local government chairman. So let's pray for God's Grace cause there are people who've godfather and they wasn't selected for the job.

Read what I wrote again so you wouldn't misquote me. There's definitely space for merit, however, that would be probably be the applicant with the highest score in a local government area.

Summary of take is that scoring 80% and above is not automatic employment for anybody. Lotta factors will come into play. Federal Character!!!!!

If the agency strictly goes by cut off mark alone, a particular LGA or State may produce over 50% of intakes which is against Federal Character.

Again, all outgoing government in Nigeria usually embark on recruitment exercise like this to compensate loyalists. So politicians will produce majority of intakes. Whether you want to accept it or not.

It has always been the pattern. Recall the one GEJ government did in 2014 (immigration, DSS and others) Buhari government upturned all...

Guys, forget any talk about cut off mark. There is no cut off mark anywhere. If there were to be, individual scores would have been made known.

Federal Character is compulsory in any FG recruitment exercise and that of NDLEA is of no exception.

Each LGA and state have been allocated number of slots so call your Rep or Senator now!!

Yes, there will be space for merit list but that would be at the LGA level, that is, applicant with the highest score in an LGA but we all know how terrible the assessment exercise was.

Each state has 30-50 slots depending on the number of LGA.

You either have God or a godfather. Forget this cut off mark story.

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: The Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission ("NERC") Is Recruiting. by iPrinz20(m): 3:44pm On Jan 12, 2023
Do not allow anybody to scam you. No invitation was forwarded to anybody. No interview whether secret or open took place in NERC headquarters. NERC is not supervised by any ministry. Your appointment can only be influence when you perform satisfactorily well in the different recruitment stages but needed extra push.

It is worth repeating that the recruitment process is based largely on Merit. This is not arguable.

DO NOT ALLOW ANYONE TO SCAM YOU.

Yesterday, I was opportune to speak with a grade-A Rep member about this recruitment. The summary of our long talk is that, appointment will be based largely on Merit.

According to him, NERC is a quasi-government agency and the recruitment process is being handled by a contractor, politicians will have minimal influence.

Even if anyone will influence it for you, you must at least pass the exam satisfactorily then the person can put in positive words for you.

Merit leads here.

For that Regulatory Agencies Question, the answers is the one that has NAFDAC. Intentionally, they wrongly arranged NAFDAC and some words omitted and replaced with other words.

All the other ones are correct:
SEC
NCC &
NERC

NAFDAC is a regulatory agency too but they mixed and omitted some words.
Goodluck EVERYONE.

Mine was correctly arranged and there was 'Control' in it. The only distortion in the available options was in NERC and it remains the correct answer from my own end. Good luck!!!

House please what is the answer to this question:
Which of the following is NOT a regulatory agency?
A.NAFDAC
B. NCC
C.Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC)
D.NERC

NB: I checked their website and they all claim to regulate.
Biko na who dey lie?

Check the options well. They are all Regulatory agencies but the answer is NERC, the option says NATIONAL Electricity Regulatory Commission not NIGERIAN Electricity Regulatory Commission, so National Regulatory Commission is the Answer

I got a mail from NERC congratulating me for reaching the second stage. I shock. The only problem is that I have relocated from the East, does it worth traveling back to the East and lodge in a hotel just for the exam? This is dicey for me

Abi na! Sure-P is a political scam. It got to a point that Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala told Nigerians during GEJ tenure that the fund was missing(about 500billion Naira) and later twisted it that it was not missing, then where is it?....and they buried the matter. Billions of Naira..... money dey grow wings? Also,88% of the GIS applicants were not given the 20k monthly stipend.
It's better they scrap the Sure-P things.

Bros, I am tempted to insult ur ignorance n lies but I won't ....... I am a beneficiary of sureP. My colleagues and i were fully paid our 30k per mnth stipends and 25k training allowance ......
