The envelope the church goer has on him says offering and tithe.
If I recall correctly, offering is a whole hearted sacrifice you make to God and must not necessarily be given in the church while tithe is a compulsory payment made by the faithful to God for the growth of the church.
Following this logic, since he has his offering and tithe in the same envelope, he can simply take out the offering he could have given God in the church and give to the less privileged since the location does not matter, then go to church and submit his tithe.

let's stop deceiving ourselves, the money in his hand isn't going to any god anywhere, it's simply going to the church account owned and controlled by the owner to be used for whatever he likes.

I don't expect anything from Nigeria politicians for the category of people they belong to. No political office holder in nigeria is to be trusted with money or resources from my own view point. Likewise sinners " davido " is not expected to be this generous
But when you talk of Men of God who see God everyday, talk to God every second, conduct a lot of miracles from opening blind eyes to raising dead bodies and so on, you should expect them to be more transparent in everything they do. Ok, look at what happens in churches today, would you trust any Nigerian pastor with your money?

Churches are fruad most especially in Nigeria. Our leaders are deceiving us, the whole essence of religion is just mind control. Nothing is holy about the whole book called bible, it's just a collection of fictitious stories for references and control. Moreover, Nigerian pastors most especially the mega ones are the biggest criminals disturbing the psychology of of Nigeria with thier brain twisting messages for the purpose of gathering huge wealth off them..
