Buy one paint bucket ( custard bucket) of yellow corn or mixture of yellow corn+ millet + Guinea corn.

Select out the stone and shafts.

Wash and soak them in a bucket of water, let the water cover them.

Wash and change the water daily for 3 days.

Take it to grinding machine operators to grind it well for you.

You need a big sieve ( the type like scarf)

Tie the sieve on a bucket or bowl. Then start sieving it.

When you are done, allow to settle for some time. Then slowly separate the water from your pap.

Then turn the pap inside pap bag to let the water drain out.

That's how I made my pap. It might look tasking but it's not.

My dear the pap is a life saver. You need to see how he is enjoying it . I prepared 1 paint bucket of corn, and he finished it in a month. I just made another one today.

Try the pap. It holds them more than breast and formula.
Just dilute the formula with small water then add your pap . let it not be too thick.

Do you have experience with Huggies ?

I will try the pap. Please can you tell me how you prepared yours? I think i will prefer doing it myself too instead of buying from market.
About the diaper, i have not used huggies before. I only used molfix and then switched to Finrosy since fake molfix filled market. I guess you continue with the Huggies, and apply barrier cream (i use blueseal vaseline). Watch out if d rashes are increasing. if yes, discontinue it, but if not, continue and finish it since you said its a gift. i guess its just a pack.

yes get lanolin . i don't know if i got d spelling right. but sabi mamas go chuk mouth soon. let her continue breastfeeding. the more she breastfeeds, d more it heals.

My bobo is 1 WK shy of 4 months. A happy bubbling young man. He eats very well especially his pap. This boy loves the pap more than bobby sef. We started pap with formula at 2months 2 wks. My questions;

What other food can I introduce to him from 4 months?

What about fruits can his stomach can tolerate at 4 months?

We started using Huggies diapers ( it's actually a gift) after the 2nd day I noticed rashes on his privates, please has anyone experienced such before or just a coincidence?

Greeting my teamie. its been long. how is bobo? My dear people discouraged me to give my baby pap. we are 4months already.Breast milk does not hold him anymore. I keep breastfeeding every 30minutes. e no dey do him. infact my only job now is bresstfeeding. I wish i can stomach d mind to try pap.
For your question, i think you should stick with pap till he is 5months or 6. my thought though.

Greetings mamas! please help. my 4months old baby has been pooing green poo with draw-like mucus. is this normal? i askes google and i saw insufficient or lack of hind milk. i started feeding him well and pump to empty my breast for him to drink. yet his poo is still green. sometimes green, sometimes yellow. he feeds well and he has never run temperature. what could be d cause. mamas who has experienced this should pls come to my aid for solution.

1. i thought during immunization, they suppose to check my baby weight? when we went for six weeks, i noticed they didn't check. After dismissal, i insisted i want to know my DS weight and the nurse reluctantly did it for me. Then last week i went for 10weeks, that same nurse flared up oo, that is it because he checked for me last time i came? that i should nt ask her that again. This is government health center i went to oo, coz i gave birth at teaching hospital and its 2hrs far from where i stay.

2. Ds weighed 5.9 at 6weeks and 6.2 at 10weeks. is it normal?

3. i didn't get Rota virus, and nurse said i shoud not worry that its not that important. is that true?

4. my Ds stoped taking anything in bottle, both formula and expressed breast milk. he only takes water. pls has anyone experience sudden refusal to take bottles. am confused oo

Mummys pls come to my aid oo. I don't understand my 4weeks old baby again. Last week he started breathing noisely, especially at night and early hours in the morning. I bought nycil menthol and rubbed on his chest and fore head. Yesterday i noticed the breathing has reduced, but he started grunting and giggling too much. I don't know if his stomach is biting him or he is constipated, and at the end of it, he will just pass gas. he hasn't poo since yesterday.

Ring method to me is the best. It's not that painful cos my DS didn't cry the day after d circumcision. The ring fell off by itself on day5, we saw it in his diaper.

Both methods are ok. One of the difference of the two is that the ring/plastibell method involves having a cap on the pe.nis after the surgery and you will have to wait till it comes off by itself usually within 3-7days. This method looks neater in my opinion.

The other conventional method has the pe.nis bare after the surgery so it is usual for one to get bothered about diaper touching it.

For whichever method used. The pain is real and the aftercare is very important. You will be appropriately guided by the doctors and nurses.

Go to a general hospital. For my DS i did the ring and i really liked it cos it didn't take long b4 it healed up not even upto a week sef so i will advice you go for the ring and ut doesn't have so much stress like the conventional one. I paid 5k for it. That's the amount it is done in Lagos here i guess

I went to teaching hospital here, they are on strike and i don't think they are resuming anytime soon. i asked most private hospital around my place, none is doing the ring own. Am in orlu, imo state

Try to find a hospital that does ring, cuz it's the more current method. If you can't, the other method is still fine.

I took in a month after my wedding. It was a stress free pregnancy journey as if I wasn't pregnant
At 37 weeks, I started bleeding which after the scan Dr
. said there is no issue of concern.


On Monday 6th, at about 9 pm I started having severe pelvic pain as if I were to pee and poo at the same time and anytime it comes I reach to the loo but just few drops of urine will come out.

As the frequency increased, dh insisted that we head to the hospital against my which of waiting till morning. Getting there, after examination the nurse asked me whether I wanted to give birth at home? This was happening around 11pm.

Contraction was now coming on and off and I was placed on IV. Menh that was something else. The two nurses were puking hand inside me to check and won't tell me how I was progressing. Was later asked to enter favour room and was given injection on my thigh which made me vomited everything in my system.

After much ado, they raptures the membrane and I went to the other side and returned. After four pushes with a cut bobo came out screaming. The stitching is another bad experience. I asked them to give me shot down there that will make the place numb but they claimed that the second injection given to me on the other thigh was for that purpose but I know they were lying anywhere.

The time of birth was some minutes past 3 am. Mad people the wall clock inside there wasn't working in a Military hospital ooo.

In all these I return all the Glory to the Most High God.

These journey won't be this fun without you all my amazing mamas, may the Lord bless you all.

My May wonder mamas yet to born, yours will be much easier than mine in Jesus name. Amen.

At my last appointment on Thursday, I asked doctor when will they do pelvic examination on me, he said till when I go into labour. I wasn't satisfied with the reply because I was 38 weeks plus already. While going home, I was thinking, what about those people booked for elective CS about 3- 4 weeks before EDd? Wasn't it because it was checked on time?

Cappo Sunbestie and my other mamas LA hot may teamies, how is it going? The kind energy I dey feel now eeh no be small thing. Like yesterday I just dey work upandan, cleaning everywhere. Dh had to hold me down to stop and rest yet to me it's like I haven't done anything yet. It was as if I was in honeymoon phase of pregnancy.

Even even energy for kepkus done return as na me dey find am and guy man is too happy to obliged.

Please what to for to make LO uncomfortable a bit so as to start looking for exit route?

i got to understand that examing the pubic bone can be done before labour but doctors don't do it coz it can lead to labour or rupturing of water.

My Bs Part 3.
On monday 29th April at 39weeks 1day, i saw bloody show. I ran to the hospital, laboured for hours and cervix was not dilating. I prayed to God, spoke in tongues by force and yet notin. I spilled the beans and told them i think baby can't pass my pelvics. They asked me how i knew, and i told my story. They booked me for emergency cs . Gave me regional anasthesia and that was how my prince was brought out at 1:05am on Tuesday 30th April 2019 weighing 3.4kg. Na so april GP tank take catch me oo. Hubby has been dancing joyfully.

Thank God my recovery has been quick. I walk about very well now. You wont even believe i was sectioned. Though we have not been discharged. Waiting for God to give oga plenty money to discharge us.
Side notes: I think my previous doctor was right, if not, i dilated well this time around but baby did not engage.
I also think Lipton helps in reducing fetal weight because at 36weeks, scan said he was 3.4kg, same weight at at birth 3weeks later.

Porting to new mums thread

My Bs part 2
Three months later, God blessed me again and i tested positive. I buckled up. Became more prayerful. And made google my best friend. I researched, asked questions and hoped for the better. This time around, i registered in a federal teaching hospital. I narrated my story to the doctor i was placed under. I was also ok and satisfied with the attention i got there.
At 27weeks, i contacted chicken pox and was treated. To God be the glory, it did not affect my baby.

When i was 36weeks gone, my Dr did pelvic examination and commented that i had boderline pelvics. And that might be the reason i lost the previous child . He booked me for elective cs at 38weeks. On hearing that, i ran. I never went for my next appointment there when i was 37. Instead i went to register at a mission hospital. I kept asking doctor google questions and even elderly men. My husband was restless too. He never wanted any story on this one again. But at the same time , we r not that buoyant, so he does not know where to stand in the issue. I researched and found out that boderline pelvis cannot be detected unless you are already in labour. The elderly people i asked too said since i have birthed before, that i can birth a child again as far as d weight of the child is not big. I went for scan and scan said i had a big baby(3.4) at 36weeks 4days. I started looking for what can reduce baby weight. I took lipton, green teem, and never ate carbohydrate again oo. I was busy dieting

My Bs part1
I got married traditionally july 2017 and God willing, i took in immediately. I wedded in church october, 2017(3months pregnan). I put to bed a baby boy April 2018, but lost the baby due to prolonged labour. I birthed the baby in a private hospital. I was in labour for two days and my cervix was not opening. Just 2cm. It was the next day that started opening at a very slow rate. By the time i was fully dilated, i was exhausted already and lack maternal strength. I was sent to theatre and a God-sent nurse pushed my stomach, slapped me and my baby popped out. He didn't cry and was placed under oxygen. He died two days later. I cried to God, learnt my lesson, cleaned up my life and moved on.

To the glory of God, i welcome my Prince this morning by 1am through emergency CS after 12hrs of labour weighing 3.4kg. Lord am greatful.
BS will come wen i recover.

Start arranging the house and stocking up on food stuffs
