I actually saw this coming there is massive job loss and the economy is down...

No reasonable country would want to absorb more migrants in the present circumstances it only increase the rate of unemployment...

We should all pray that what ever decision he takes is temporal.......

Good morning family!
I called the NVC this morning to inquire about the status of the immigrant visas.
The lady said available visas at this time are for priority date filed before July 1, 2006 and our priority date is Jan. 3, 2007.
She said we would be notified with interview dates once visa becomes available for our priority date.

I also asked about the ban and she said we will be notified if it affects us but for now, the information on those affected are on their website.

As reported in item E of the January Visa Bulletin (number 37), the final action date for the “Rest of World” Family Fourth preference (F4) had been advanced at a very rapid pace during the past two years to generate the required level of demand. The dramatic increase in the level of applicant demand currently being received has required the retrogression of that final action date for the month of February. This has been done in an effort to hold number use within the annual numerical limitation. It is likely that this date will remain in effect for at least the next several months
