U don't think uzoho being a basket will also affect the defenders? When you know your goalkeeper is a basket you're under intense pressure and make reckless challenge that will cost the team

Joking with your mates on the pitch is not criminal but the FA banned the players for 3 games I don't know oluehi and oparanozie offense during that time but what I'm trying to say is FA do have power to discipline players it happens all over the world club and country
lovewins:

These suspensions didn't come as a result of the bosses flexing muscle. The examples you cited clearly shows the players were in violation of laid down laws. Please what was Desire's or Oluehi's offence? Where they accused of rape, or did they involved in anything criminal or even immoral?

Comments like this is why Nigeria has a long way to go. How do players get blacked out for simply demanding better of their association and we are here justifying the action the association took by comparing apples with oranges. Na wa o

I’ve been seeing this image fly around the net. My question is why was the case number and importantly the sender’s email was not shown.

We all know customer support or complaint channel emails are mostly automated emails. So why not show it.

I dare the author of this picture to provide sufficient evidence.

England F..A once suspend a player for 3 games for jokingly showing his teammates the middle finger the coach can not pick him for those 3 games even if he wants, look at greenwood the F A will sack Southgate if he even dare to invite him
BascoVanVeli:

Let's stop being emotional and start using common sense. Those players were suspended by the federation. The NFF is not the first and will not be the last federation to suspend players. If those players were not suspended and the NFF said the coach shouldn't select them then u would have a case. But going by ur logic every team in the world interferes with their coach. U have clubs that will stop a coach from using a player just because he doesn't want to sign a new contract.

Politics / Re: Atiku's Lawyers Dissapointed After Receiving Tinubu's Brilliant Records by isan(m): 10:31pm On Oct 02, 2023
Tinubu used the results brouhahas to divert Nigerians attention from the economic hardship for some time to settle NLC because when NLC were shouting strike morning they couldn't gain enough attention on the media because everyone is focused on the results
RushManni:
The way I'm looking at it, it seems tinubu may still not be touched. His body language spells calm - either he did well, and is playing along to just create the 'controversy' knowing, it is a plus to his 'sagacity' OR, he has already gotten his way around Nigerian supreme court already
Sports / Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by isan(m): 10:20pm On Oct 02, 2023
I think our league is doing well and improving, we constantly supply the European league our players and there's nothing wrong about that
Deltamani:

I’m now feeling that our League ain’t doing much to develop their game and help them financially.. How will they perform well at the CAF Women’s Champions League when all the quality Players are going abroad after one or two good seasons…

At least I’m happy she isn’t going to lower Leagues like Belarus, Israel, Turkey, Greece and Co..

It’s good most of them do play their way to the top Leagues cause i mostly fancy those Playing in the top Leagues for the SuperFalcons…

Which match did Esther ever start as a starting striker ? It's normal she will find herself in the striking role in a match but the fact is she wasn't the striker in that match
Deltamani:

Esther is now what? Esther Okoronkwo Plays the 3 position upfront for both Club and Country…
During 2022 WAFCON qualifiers against CIV she and Onumonu rotated the No.9 position switching positions among themselves and she always delivers with Assist or Goal..

Stop including okorokwo among our strikers, she's not a striker and she has never strike for falcons , the strikers we have right now Oshoala and onumonu
BascoVanVeli:

Monday has played like 1 game this season so calling her a fullback is wild. We also have Esther Okoronkwo, Anam Imo, Ihezuo, Juliet Sunday and even Mercy Omokwo. I see no problem with the girl u guys are talking about getting a shot but that doesn't mean we are suddenly out of options.

Rwanda suspends women's coach for saying Ghana rivals were 'like men'

The head coach of Rwanda's women's football team was suspended on Saturday by the national federation for saying Ghanaian rivals were "like men" after her side's defeat.

Grace Nyinawumuntu said her team had been intimidated by the Ghana team resulting in a 7-0 rout in an African Cup of Nations (Afcon) qualifier in Kigali on Wednesday.

"They have girls who we think have male hormones. They are girls who are like men," she said.

"Our team was scared... when they got to the pitch, they conceded because they were scared."

Rwanda's football federation (Ferwafa) sent a statement to AFP confirming the coach had been "suspended until further notice, due to (the) inappropriate choice of diction she used after the game between Rwanda and Ghana".
