I wondering when she joined Naija ratels because I've been following the from the championship to the Nigeria premier league and the club never mentioned onome anywhere
lovewins:
Still on the Onome matter.

They'll probably have to take her through all the Nigerian clubs before she retires. They got her attached to a club she wasn't remotely affiliated to just to justify her world cup inclusion. Next club will be Delta Queens.
Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by isan(m): 8:31pm On Sep 15, 2023
The list is waldrum list
lovewins:
The comment yoi quoted literally says he's under contract till October, that isn't in dispute. The list however is a NFF list, likely the technical department's list. That also isn't in dispute.

Waldrum said he's still under contract till October don't believe most of this Nigerian journalists too many contradictory reports from the past few days
lovewins:
This isn't the coach's list. The NFF drew the list. They are still in negotiations with Randy so it remains to be seen if he'll coach the game though he's still under contract till the end of October

Only onome can answer your questions
Deltamani:
Of what importance is she to the team right now that she still doesn’t want to retire??

Is it Osinachi Ohale, Halimatu Ayinde, Asisat Oshoala can’t offer any of the experience quota she brings in??
Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by isan(m): 6:19pm On Sep 15, 2023
I don't blame her sha i blamed the coach that thought she could still offer something

Nothing is really wrong with oluehi call up
lovewins:
While I see the positives in bringing in new faces to the team, the number of new players added and the timing isn't exactly a smart move. I would have at least wanted the totality of the core of players that started games at the world cup to be present. Yes it's Sao Tome, but playing more games together will help them gel and will help better prepare them for the Olympics qualifiers ahead.

Also, if the goal is to replace old legs in the team with fresh faces, having Onome and Oluehi in the list doesn't exactly reflect that. In all, happy for players like Flourish and Ajakaye and hope to get a chance to show themselves (though against a poor opposition may not count for much)
Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by isan(m): 6:16pm On Sep 15, 2023
This is the perfect opportunity to try new players and blend in the new generation i think bar onome the coach got his list right

The likes of Macleans Chinonyerem, Anam IMO, Esther Okoronkwo are there to grab the no.9 jersey but as for me I would love a Like to like replacement for her in terms of a typical No.9 with same body frame..

But can Macleans Chinonyerem bring to the table more and what Desire Oparanozie have offered in the past, She’s the only No.9 have seen with Oparanozie attributes

From the thread

Any Yoruba mixed blood is not Yoruba enough.. once he’s saying truth to power

Any Yoruba mixed blood against Yoruba .. not Yoruba

Any poor Yoruba mixed blood not Yoruba

Any Yoruba mixed blood .. but wealthy .. pure Yoruba

Any Yoruba mixed blood .. successful.. pure Yoruba

Any body stating his mind in Nigeria .. is using igbos grin grin

Anybody in Nigeria as opposition is Igbo.. even if you want be ekiti Yoruba .. he’s Igbo or using igbos to get what he wants

Even if emir of kano states it as e be .. against Yoruba .. he’s using igbos to get what he wants ..

If Dangote states the obvious … he’s using igbos

If Oni of ife states a truth against Yoruba god .. he’s becomes igbos

This is Yoruba reasoning .. take not and add .. from this thread
