what experience is yewande providing on the bench is she more experience than Tochukwu or Nnadozie ? it's not like she's going to play any match for falcons Deltamani: Let me make a point here, I don’t think Randy Waldrum will go with inexperienced Omilana ahead of Yewande Balogun… You seems to forget there’s Christy Ohaeriaku and Onyinyechi Okeke too |

The players association needs to seat down with FIFA , UEFA , CAF and others, including clubs representatives to talk about it mostob: This pregnancy rule concerning female footballers should not be taken with levity. From the club's POV, football is business so getting paid without playing will seem somehow. The player's contract can be deferred pending when she comes back. |

don't mind them igbos control every part of yorubaland NigerianAngelo: Going by your post, SE has 88% pass rate and SW = 79% (including Igbos in Lagos).
SW is actually now very empty. Only fornication songs and dances morning to night. No bank. All Banks are Igbos. Igbo glory reloading. |

after writing the above comment you still blame waldrum for not playing from the back Deltamani: I juts hope you read my Comment very well and understand my point..
Onome Ebi can also play from the back but age have caught up with her and can’t risk such with her incase of misplaced passes.. |
Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by isan(m): 2:43pm On Jan 16, 2023 |
so you want waldrum to turn her to young girl again? how many times has she cost us playing out from the back ? Deltamani: Onome Ebi can also play from the back but age have caught up with her and can’t risk such with her incase of misplaced passes.. |
Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by isan(m): 2:42pm On Jan 16, 2023 |
see we don't have the quality to play from the back , all this someone can do it but she's old or someone is improving can't work for us , we can't play from the back it'll be disastrous Deltamani: Ashleigh Plumptre is no.1, Osinachi Ohale is trying but she’s better with long balls distribution.. Patricia George, Payne can play from the back very well, as for Alozie she gets shacky at times..
Demehin have improved with her ball playing too, didn’t see much of Zogg League games due to series of injuries. |
Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by isan(m): 9:10am On Jan 16, 2023 |
who are the defenders to play from the back ? is Nnadozie good with her feet ? which of our midfielders is comfortable on the ball ? Deltamani: Sometime Ago..
Short Passes gives us better Scoring opportunities, instead of Long balls that would leave the Likes of Onumonu, Oshoala, Oparanozie chasing and getting tired, Play Simple and short Passes that will get our opponents out of position.
It's always difficult to play against a team that knows how to keep the ball and make the right passes, We have the Players to execute it and probably do the high press. We need to work on it for the World Cup,
As for me I don't believe in Randy Waldrum anymore. Long balls method has done no good to us but they keep playing that way. I'm very certain it was the Coaches instructions to play long balls more.. we know how to build from the back, we just need refining...
Since Randy Waldrum is Continuing as Coach, it's for him and his Coaching crew to analyze our performance at the WAFCON and get rid of this Long ball approach...
I had to take my time to re watch their matches at the just concluded WAFCON..
Few things I will point out first is for Randy Waldrum to settle the Defense position...
Bring in Patricia George who's very quick, strong, skillful and a beautiful full back to the Left as she's uses both feets effectively Since Randy prefers Nicole Payne more at Left Back...
Let the Competition for Left Back spot be between Patty and Nicole.. Rofiat Imuran is still very raw and average at best even though she’s better tha Glory Ogbonna.
At Center Back Onome Ebi should be seated out of the team or on the Bench... She's already 39yrs, she can offer the needed experience from the Bench since we already have Ashleigh Plumptre who's a better ball playing center Back and can carry the ball very well from the back..
Ohale 30yrs will definitely get better with Ashleigh at the Back playing together..
Get two younger CBs to understudy Ohale and Ashleigh ( Onyinyechi Zogg, Blessing Demehin and Akudo Ogbonna ) Have been following Demehin game up since her move to France, She has really improved a lot, knowing how to play from the back is something she has really worked on too but still need to improve more on her aerial abilities.
Randy hasn't find a Natural Right Back yet, Why not make that spot a tough competition between Alozie and Tony Payne.. let their two fight that spot since he doesn't want to move either of them to the Attack and Midfield..
Leave out Glory Ogbonna from the team as she hasn't done anything impressive to keep her around the team…
To be Continued…. |

Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by isan(m): 2:53pm On Jan 12, 2023 |
we need Tony ball playing ability in the attacking third , not like she's the best left back in Nigeria AkinDS: Tell that to the Seville FC coach who has played her in that position several times now. Fact is that she is a very versatile player and can play in multiple positions, including both outside back positions, amongst others.
Nigeria should be thankful we have a player of such immense talent. |

rest in Jesus name , Nigeria can not change even if Jesus come down to rule Nigeria owobokiri: Most of them came out for Obi but the Agbadorians went into overdrive with their campaign of calumny, vicious blackmail and raw tribalism, as they started a ruthless and shameful crusade of painting Mr Peter Obi with the IPOB color. A man whose solid record was there for all to see and "verify" was systematically labelled a liar!
Some of the socalled celebrities became confused others started pandering to all sorts of agbadorian tribal pulls in other to support their tribesman. Since Tinubu as a candidate was unsellable, most of them living in Lagos , preferred a "Siddon look" approach rather than campaign openly for him, and this is very tragic!
This very presidential election might be the last chance for Nigeria to peacefully right a lot of wrongs. For once the political elite are in a quandary as their choosen candidates become increasingly loathed by the greater population of Nigerians. Essentially, this is the best time to force a foundamental change through the ballot box, but that's only if the downthrodden can come together and mount a concrete challenge.
You would expect the socalled celebrities to champion the cause, but they have all recoiled to their shells, while pontificating from their high horses. Some act like they want a more perfect candidate, which is very laughable considering the fact that this same horde of vain minded celebrities were the ones who helped to enthrone the different disastrous presidents that ruled this country in recent past. |

Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by isan(m): 5:57pm On Jan 09, 2023 |
why wouldn't he? he's the president now lovewins: Not true though.
Persons familiar with the matter reported that pinnick and Akinwunmi were at loggerheads. They almost always didn't see eye to eye. He also had affirmed in different public fora that he'll rather support the north to take over of he were to step down.
You'll notice also that just a few weeks ago, Pinnick and Gasau both went round Nigeria visiting corporations in lieu of preparation and sponsorship for the next world cup.
That is not even relevant right now. If truly he was principal to the numerous friendlies we had prior, then he should pitch in to ensure the girls success. Gasau wouldn't object. |
Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by isan(m): 4:56pm On Jan 09, 2023 |
the girls know what they were doing when they wanted Amaju to contest for 3rd term AkinDS: But most Nigerians wanted Pinnick gone, accusing him of all sorts of things. Now you have Gusau, who has been sitting on his rear end doing absolutely nothing!
It looks like Nigerian football is in for a very rough ride these coming 4 years!! |

this are all true, NFF should start the team preparation now and waldrum should work on his player selection and stop playing players out of position....if pinnick is still the president he would have line up a lot of friendlies by now but here we are now Deltamani: Randy Randy Randy Waldrum..
