It's either cos the north is large and has have many Governors, thus a bit hard to keep abreast with all their progress or am afraid you are just using sentiment to say that.

Truth is northern governors are barely known, even the northerners don't know most of them kiss
Politics / Re: ''god Will Help Us Defeat Buhari In 2019'' Ex-president Olusegun Obasanjo Says by isbish(m): 5:18pm On Jun 19, 2018
So now he knows God abi? You think you can always bulldoze people out of power and put anyone you like? You think Buhari is like GEJ that you bullied out of power abi? And you think God will answer your prayers? God doesn't answer prayers of those that are selfish. Al you want is to remain relevant till you die, even pharoahs raign came to an end. OBJ go and rest. You are becoming an object of sheer ridicule.

Politics / Re: Buhari's Apology To Abiola Is It For His Personal Roles In June 12 Annulment? by isbish(m): 8:52pm On Jun 13, 2018
The apology is a national apology meaning to say every single citizen of this nation since time immemorial has rendered apology to MKO Abiola. Since it is the president who rendered it on behalf of the nation in its entirety it means you also have apologised to MKO for how he was wrongly denied his mandate of becoming the president of Nigeria.

To conclude, wether you think it's personal or anything, it doesn't matter since your apology has been echoed through PMB. I hope u understand now. smiley

Greyworld:
What democracy are we talking about? June 12 democracy handover never saw the light of day but May 29th ushered in the democracy we re "enjoying" so what is the biggy?

Buhary is tryin so hard to spite Obj, and seek yoruba vote notin mur because that man there doesnt understand the slightest concept of democracy and that is putting it mildly.

Is it wrong to spite your political enemy? Or is it also wrong to seek to gain the favour of the Yorubas by doing what OBJ himself refused to do? What za heck are u talking about dude?

Politics / Re: Buhari Has Ended Obasanjo’s May 29 Hypocrisy, Says Falana On June 12 Democracy D by isbish(m): 6:32am On Jun 07, 2018
Which ever way you look at it, PMB did what his predecessors refused to do. This will good very well with the Yoruba nation and at this time, who wouldn't want to further appease these great people of the South West? They know how to play politics and so far, they are reaping it all good at all fronts. Our Igbo brothers, look inward and learn how to play politics, which is a give and take game.

Igbos should learn from the Yorubas. Politics is all about interest. You can let go of your hatred and disdain for a leader and even pretend that you like him to get what you seek in politics. That's the idea not continuous and never ending generationally passed on hatred and slanders against others you share the same country space with.

I rest my case. June 12, I will relax at home and celebrate with the Yorubas.

Politics / Buhari Has Ended Obasanjo’s May 29 Hypocrisy, Says Falana On June 12 Democracy D by isbish(m): 6:13am On Jun 07, 2018
Femi Falana, a senior advocate of Nigeria (SAN), says by declaring June 12 Democracy Day, President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration has put an end to the “hypocrisy” of ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo.

In a statement, Falana said declaring June 12 as Democracy Day “validated the integrity of the fair and free election that was criminally annulled by the Ibrahim Babangida junta”.

The human rights lawyer called on the government to adopt Abiola’s welfare programme to tackle poverty.

“The Muhammadu Buhari administration made history today by conferring the post humous national award of Grand Commander of the Federal Republic (GCFR) on Chief M. K. O. Abiola, the acclaimed of the June 12, 1993 presidential election for his huge contribution to the restoration of democratic rule in Nigeria,” the statement read.

“By declaring June 12 Democracy Day the federal government has officially validated the integrity of the fair and free election that was criminally annulled by the Ibrahim Babangida junta.

“By recognizing June 12 as Democracy Day the federal government has put an end to the hypocrisy of May 29 which was proclaimed by the Olusegun Obasanjo regime. By confering the post humous award of national award of Grand Commander of the Order of Niger (GCON) on Chief Gani Fawehinmi SAN the federal government has officially endorsed his enormous contributions to the titanic battle against military dictatorship and promotion of human rights in Nigeria.

“In addition to the historic gesture the federal government should proceed to adopt chief Abiola’s programme of welfare to poverty and respect the human rights of all Nigerians which Chief Gani Fawehinmi SAN championed and defended in his life time.

“In particular, the federal government should mark the first national democracy day on June 12, 2018 with the release of all citizens who are being detained illegally all over the country and immediate compliance with all valid and subsisting court orders.”

The lawyer called on the government to equally honour Kudirat Abiola who was assassinated while defending her husband’s mandate.

Imagine the innocent lives that would have bn killed with these weapons. Kai!

How do people sleep in peace knowing fully well that they sold weapons to people to use to kill fellow humans? You make money at the expense of people's lives? Na wawo! May God have mercy on wicked souls and change them for good. Ameen.

Politics / Re: 2019: Do You Consider Nigeria A Safer Place Under Buhari? by isbish(m): 5:51am On Mar 26, 2018
Personally I feel safer now than when Boko Haram used to bomb every motor park, churches and mosques anywhere they feel like.

In my opinion, the issue of Fulani Hardsmen has been used as a political tool to distabilise this government esp since PMB is Fulani. However, I agree the Fulani Farmers clash had long been in existence and bulk of the blame is to the Fulani because of how their cattles have destroyed farm produce.

I feel sad for this country and we the citizens because our minds are often skewed and partially judgemental based on our likes and dislikes. On this note, we are a collection of failures as citizens because we are just a tool in the hands of these politicians to achieve their selfish goals.

The day we all realise and refuse to be used and dump will be the day our political emancipation will surface and lead us to voting good candidates to lead us.

More than enough reason to defect sir. Only those that know the value of peace and living without fear will reason with u. Good move. God bless PMB.

If PMB in the sight of God remains the most upright person to lead this nation, may God in His wisdom ensure he returns in 2019. If he isn't, dear God give us who can do better.

Sporadic killings in South South and South East you guys will say hunger breeds violence and insult APC and Buhari. Killings in the North, you guys won't call it hunger, instead it's things like they are fanatics. Guys, let's be rational and eschew tribalism and religious sentiments and call a spade a spade. No one deserves to die in such a horrible manner. just like u guys blame Buhari for killings in the country, give blames as well to the Governor of the state. These are cultists and u guys need not be told these politicians are part of them. God save us.

Politics / Re: Those Criticising Buhari Over Dead Appointees Are Collectively Stupid - Sagay by isbish(m): 7:08am On Jan 02, 2018
Admittedly, I think APC should have done something to crosscheck the names at least before dishing them out. On the other hand, sagay is right that many Nigerians especially those who hate Buhari with passion are seriously over lashing the dead horse. Yes dead people turned out to be in the list and the APC came out and said it was an honest mistake and apologies were issued. What else do the opposition need? It's about time we focused on other more important issues.

Ironically our Christians here think Palestine is all about Muslims and Jews. You guys hardly knew u have your Christians brothers and sisters there fighting for their rights to survive in their land because of sheer hatred for the Palestinians. Now who do you support? The Jews persecuting your Christians or your Christians and Muslims together fighting against the Jews? Let your conscience take the lead. Say no to Palestinian oppression by the Jews.

There is nothing wrong in what the governor said. Every tribe has a person working as house maid somewhere. To have an igbo woman so close to Mr. President cooking for him shows the level of tolerance and inclusiveness characterized by our president.
