Is this guy a Nigerian? |
SMH for elders thinking like kids. Worse of are the gullible youth. Dumb! The allegation doesn't even make sense. Childish! |
I rejected being a president of Nigeria once, just that no media house took the story up. ![]() UjSizzle: |
The simple fact is Men and Women can never be the same. We all have our distinct features and roles. There is no way all the rights of a man can equate with women, even the scriptures made it clear. |
Let me just see someone come here and say witchhunt I will castrate that person. God wont allow any of those past leaders that had hand in this go free. That is for sure. ![]() |
I was there on that day. so close to the gate here at the National Stadium. Believe me guys, it was a terrible incident. These are some of the pics still in my phone.
|
It beats my imagination how some people reason. How on earth can people think with such a shallow mind? So Buhari will turn all Christians to Muslim because he is a President. These guys na wawo. |
Frustration of the highest level. ![]() drss: |
The simple reason why PMB's picture is removed from the candidates posters is beyond the haters comprehension. You guys because of hatred and vile on the President have lost all your sane sense of reasoning. His images on the posters are removed because even bad candidates use the Presidents good aura, personality and popularity to get votes. Buhari is a gem and larger percentage of good Nigerians know that, hence, the reason why bad politicians use his image to sale themselves. Haven't any of you seen other parties using Buhari's image to even get votes. I have seen in my Village a Labour party Chairmanship aspirant use Buhari's pics in his Poster. What has Buhari got to do with Labour party? I guess sensible people will now see the reason better. They aren't removing PMB's pics because he is unpopular as you guys want to portray it. His pics are removed for the above stated reason. |
Many call Northerners all sort of names like being backward and illiterate, however, you can barely have this kind of politically motivated killings so inhumanly done like barbarians. How ironical this is happening in a place labeled civilized. Pathetic how these people done terrible things for politics. We all are gonna die someday anyway; how is what none of us know. lets be civil and say no to political thuggery and killings. |
This my President keep giving the wailers heart ache O! Now see how they are gonna take turns to wail Northern Agenda when they are so dependent on the North for food afterall. tanx B. Bruce has made it clear for once. |
Safe trip Mr. President. As the prayers of haters never worked against you while you contested and won, may their evil prayers continue to fail. God is with you, hence, no amount of hate or bad mouth can do you harm. ![]() |
Lol I don show too, ona think say na only ona waka come? I don confirm the names. These people ehn! Kai! ![]() |
Ewww! this one bad gan. I just can't imagine....rushed our to throw up. I feel sick already. ![]() |
All I see here is wailers masturbating over what the emir never said. So pathetic how some people who think they are better educated will gullibly believe that as what the emir said. OP u are even worse to twist what the emir said even when the content vividly never had that as what the emir said. You guys will suffer in ur blind hatred for good 8yrs, such a long time to keep hating over everything. |
Where I am in one of the sertelite towns of Abuja, I have been enjoying light for almost 5 days with little interruption. At least we enjoy 18hrs of light on a worse day for at least a week now. |
I feel for those haters that deem it fit to criticise everything they read especially on this government. Na like that ona go de dey till 2019? Hmm! Bitterness no good O! |
Imagine a presumably sane person crossing out salient questions put forward for proper clearance on an important subject mater like this and all he can write is TRASH without stating reason as to why. Damn, for once, the lord have shown me someone without brains. I never thought I could see one until this day. ![]() medpren: |
Why some people will see this as a bad news baffles me. Anyway, thank God this Government is making better progress on this issue. Peace should come before anything else. God bless PMB and Nigerian Army. |
Sorry Bro. You will be just fine. misreal: |
Dude, come on. Just read. misreal: |
I have read quite a lot being said about Marriage in Islam especially in the last two weeks since the Ese's abduction incident happened. I thought for clarity purpose, people, especially non-muslims need to spare a little of their precious time to read what the Holy Qur'an says about Marriage in Islam. These are various quotation from the Quar'an I have been able to source. Please read and understand. NOTE - These are English transliterations by Yusuf Ali quoting from the verses of the Holy Qur'an. Quran 4.003 YUSUFALI: If ye fear that ye shall not be able to deal justly with the orphans, Marry women of your choice, Two or three or four; but if ye fear that ye shall not be able to deal justly (with them), then only one, or (a captive) that your right hands possess, that will be more suitable, to prevent you from doing injustice. Quran 4.004 YUSUFALI: And give the women (on marriage) their dower as a free gift; but if they, of their own good pleasure, remit any part of it to you, Take it and enjoy it with right good cheer. Quran 4.005 YUSUFALI: To those weak of understanding Make not over your property, which Allah hath made a means of support for you, but feed and clothe them therewith, and speak to them words of kindness and justice. Quran 4.019 YUSUFALI: O ye who believe! Ye are forbidden to inherit women against their will. Nor should ye treat them with harshness, that ye may Take away part of the dower ye have given them,-except where they have been guilty of open lewdness; on the contrary live with them on a footing of kindness and equity. If ye take a dislike to them it may be that ye dislike a thing, and Allah brings about through it a great deal of good. Quran 4.020 YUSUFALI: But if ye decide to take one wife in place of another, even if ye had given the latter a whole treasure for dower, Take not the least bit of it back: Would ye take it by slander and manifest wrong? Quran 4.021 YUSUFALI: And how could ye take it when ye have gone in unto each other, and they have Taken from you a solemn covenant? Quran 4.022 YUSUFALI: And marry not women whom your fathers married,- except what is past: It was shameful and odious,- an abominable custom indeed. Quran 4.023 YUSUFALI: Prohibited to you (For marriage) are:- Your mothers, daughters, sisters; father's sisters, Mother's sisters; brother's daughters, sister's daughters; foster-mothers (Who gave you suck), foster-sisters; your wives' mothers; your step-daughters under your guardianship, born of your wives to whom ye have gone in,- no prohibition if ye have not gone in;- (Those who have been) wives of your sons proceeding from your loins; and two sisters in wedlock at one and the same time, except for what is past; for Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful;- Quran 4.024 YUSUFALI: Also (prohibited are) women already married, except those whom your right hands possess: Thus hath Allah ordained (Prohibitions) against you: Except for these, all others are lawful, provided ye seek (them in marriage) with gifts from your property,- desiring chastity, not lust, seeing that ye derive benefit from them, give them their dowers (at least) as prescribed; but if, after a dower is prescribed, agree Mutually (to vary it), there is no blame on you, and Allah is All-knowing, All-wise. Quran 4.025 YUSUFALI: If any of you have not the means wherewith to wed free believing women, they may wed believing girls from among those whom your right hands possess: And Allah hath full knowledge about your faith. Ye are one from another: Wed them with the leave of their owners, and give them their dowers, according to what is reasonable: They should be chaste, not lustful, nor taking paramours: when they are taken in wedlock, if they fall into shame, their punishment is half that for free women. This (permission) is for those among you who fear sin; but it is better for you that ye practise self-restraint. And Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful. Quran 4.027 YUSUFALI: Allah doth wish to Turn to you, but the wish of those who follow their lusts is that ye should turn away (from Him),- far, far away. Quran 4.034 YUSUFALI: Men are the protectors and maintainers of women, because Allah has given the one more (strength) than the other, and because they support them from their means. Therefore the righteous women are devoutly obedient, and guard in (the husband's) absence what Allah would have them guard. As to those women on whose part ye fear disloyalty and ill-conduct, admonish them (first), (Next), refuse to share their beds, (And last) beat them (lightly); but if they return to obedience, seek not against them Means (of annoyance): For Allah is Most High, great (above you all). Quran 4.035 YUSUFALI: If ye fear a breach between them twain, appoint (two) arbiters, one from his family, and the other from hers; if they wish for peace, Allah will cause their reconciliation: For Allah hath full knowledge, and is acquainted with all things. Quran 4.128 YUSUFALI: If a wife fears cruelty or desertion on her husband's part, there is no blame on them if they arrange an amicable settlement between themselves; and such settlement is best; even though men's souls are swayed by greed. But if ye do good and practise self-restraint, Allah is well-acquainted with all that ye do. Quran 4.129 YUSUFALI: Ye are never able to be fair and just as between women, even if it is your ardent desire: But turn not away (from a woman) altogether, so as to leave her (as it were) hanging (in the air). If ye come to a friendly understanding, and practise self-restraint, Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful. Quran 5.005 YUSUFALI: This day are (all) things good and pure made lawful unto you. The food of the People of the Book is lawful unto you and yours is lawful unto them. (Lawful unto you in marriage) are (not only) chaste women who are believers, but chaste women among the People of the Book, revealed before your time,- when ye give them their due dowers, and desire chastity, not lewdness, nor secret intrigues if any one rejects faith, fruitless is his work, and in the Hereafter he will be in the ranks of those who have lost (all spiritual good). Quran 17.032 YUSUFALI: Nor come nigh to adultery: for it is a shameful (deed) and an evil, opening the road (to other evils). Quran 24.002 YUSUFALI: The woman and the man guilty of adultery or fornication,- flog each of them with a hundred stripes: Let not compassion move you in their case, in a matter prescribed by Allah, if ye believe in Allah and the Last Day: and let a party of the Believers witness their punishment. Quran 24.003 YUSUFALI: Let no man guilty of adultery or fornication marry and but a woman similarly guilty, or an Unbeliever: nor let any but such a man or an Unbeliever marry such a woman: to the Believers such a thing is forbidden. Quran 24.004 YUSUFALI: And those who launch a charge against chaste women, and produce not four witnesses (to support their allegations),- flog them with eighty stripes; and reject their evidence ever after: for such men are wicked transgressors;- Quran 24.006 YUSUFALI: And for those who launch a charge against their spouses, and have (in support) no evidence but their own,- their solitary evidence (can be received) if they bear witness four times (with an oath) by Allah that they are solemnly telling the truth; Quran 24.007 YUSUFALI: And the fifth (oath) (should be) that they solemnly invoke the curse of Allah on themselves if they tell a lie. Quran 24.008 YUSUFALI: But it would avert the punishment from the wife, if she bears witness four times (with an oath) By Allah, that (her husband) is telling a lie; Quran 24.009 YUSUFALI: And the fifth (oath) should be that she solemnly invokes the wrath of Allah on herself if (her accuser) is telling the truth. Quran 24.019 YUSUFALI: Those who love (to see) scandal published broadcast among the Believers, will have a grievous Penalty in this life and in the Hereafter: Allah knows, and ye know not. Quran 24.023 YUSUFALI: Those who slander chaste women, indiscreet but believing, are cursed in this life and in the Hereafter: for them is a grievous Penalty,- [al-Noor 24:32] And marry those among you who are single (i.e. a man who has no wife and the woman who has no husband) and (also marry) the Salihoon (pious, fit and capable ones) of your (male) slaves and maid-servants (female slaves). If they be poor, Allah will enrich them out of His Bounty. And Allah is All-Sufficent for His creatures needs, All-Knowing (about the state of the people). [al-Noor 24:33] And let those who find not the financial means for marriage keep themselves chaste, until Allah enriches them of His Bounty. And such of your slaves as seek a writing (of emancipation), give them such writing, if you know that they are good and trustworthy. And give them something yourselves out of the wealth of Allah which He has bestowed upon you. And force not your maids to prostitution, if they desire chastity, in order that you may make a gain in the (perishable) goods of this worldly life. But if anyone compels them (to prostitution), then after such compulsion, Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful (to those women, i.e. He will forgive them because they have been forced to do this evil action unwillingly). Quran 25.054 YUSUFALI: It is He Who has created man from water: then has He established relationships of lineage and marriage: for thy Lord has power (over all things). Quran 25.068 YUSUFALI: Those who invoke not, with Allah, any other god, nor slay such life as Allah has made sacred except for just cause, nor commit fornication; - and any that does this (not only) meets punishment. Quran 30.021 YUSUFALI: And among His Signs is this, that He created for you mates from among yourselves, that ye may dwell in tranquillity with them, and He has put love and mercy between your (hearts): verily in that are Signs for those who reflect. Quran 36.056 YUSUFALI: They and their associates will be in groves of (cool) shade, reclining on Thrones (of dignity); Quran 33.037 YUSUFALI: Behold! Thou didst say to one who had received the grace of Allah and thy favour: "Retain thou (in wedlock) thy wife, and fear Allah." But thou didst hide in thy heart that which Allah was about to make manifest: thou didst fear the people, but it is more fitting that thou shouldst fear Allah. Then when Zaid had dissolved (his marriage) with her, with the necessary (formality), We joined her in marriage to thee: in order that (in future) there may be no difficulty to the Believers in (the matter of) marriage with the wives of their adopted sons, when the latter have dissolved with the necessary (formality) (their marriage) with them. And Allah's command must be fulfilled. Quran 40.008 YUSUFALI: "And grant, our Lord! that they enter the Gardens of Eternity, which Thou hast promised to them, and to the righteous among their fathers, their wives, and their posterity! For Thou art (He), the Exalted in Might, Full of Wisdom. Quran 43.070 YUSUFALI: Enter ye the Garden, ye and your wives, in (beauty and) rejoicing. Quran 58.001 YUSUFALI: Allah has indeed heard (and accepted) the statement of the woman who pleads with thee concerning her husband and carries her complaint (in prayer) to Allah: and Allah (always) hears the arguments between both sides among you: for Allah hears and sees (all things). Quran 60.010 YUSUFALI: O ye who believe! When there come to you believing women refugees, examine (and test) them: Allah knows best as to their Faith: if ye ascertain that they are Believers, then send them not back to the Unbelievers. They are not lawful (wives) for the Unbelievers, nor are the (Unbelievers) lawful (husbands) for them. But pay the Unbelievers what they have spent (on their dower), and there will be no blame on you if ye marry them on payment of their dower to them. But hold not to the guardianship of unbelieving women: ask for what ye have spent on their dowers, and let the (Unbelievers) ask for what they have spent (on the dowers of women who come over to you). Such is the command of Allah: He judges (with justice) between you. And Allah is Full of Knowledge and Wisdom. Quran 60.011 YUSUFALI: And if any of your wives deserts you to the Unbelievers, and ye have an accession (by the coming over of a woman from the other side), then pay to those whose wives have deserted the equivalent of what they had spent (on their dower). He is a BEAST because you can't succeed in smearing him from the look of it. If you continue to becloud your brain with sentiment and join the bandwagon of ignorant dudes here to keep calling every Muslim and Northerner as Boko Haram or terrorist, you will always see that BEAST tearing your myopic sense of reasoning to the gutter. People should learn to seek info about Islam on issues related to Marriage and other things they aren't clear about. nwaanambra1: |
When you hate a people, there is no limit to what lies you can continue spreading just to keep denting the alteady dented image of those people. Enough of all this blatant lies. So pathetic. |

The Ese issue is such an interesting story, though unfortunate and deserves condemnation. However, I quite agree with you on the negligence of mothers towards their daughters especially for little or more financial gains. The story of Ese and Yunusa isn't still complete. The social media and everyone condemned it well enough, but there is need to know or hear more from the other side i.e. Yunusa's side. There is need for us to know what actually transpired between Yunusa and Ese before she agreed to elope with Yunusa or Yunusa abducted her as most social media report it. This incidence is very unfortunate but parents need to do a lot more in ensuring their kids aren't exposed to social vices. The world is changing fast especially with these technologies on our mobile phones e.g twitter, whattsapp, 2go, Badoo....etc. these are good platforms for everyday usage and enhances communication, but believe you me, the rate at which young girls and buys get so exposed to vices in these platforms plays a huge role in causing some of the sexual and behavioural challenges we are facing today. Nigerian security forces need to do better, I and you need to do better too but I still insist, there is more to this story than meets the eye. Yunusa and Ese are the only ones that can explain better, however, the whole story is just too skewed now for anyone to think otherwise. in conclusion, the girl is a Minor, for that singular reason, Yunusa has erred and deserves to be punished. The Parents need to get a good talking to too, they have don as bad too. |
This thread came right on time even though I googled it earlier. My wife is 5months pregnant. She actually had little complication in her first trimester with bleeding. Not profuse though, it stopped soon enough. At the hospital that same day early in the morning, the Doctor said she had a threatened abortion/miscarriage and for that reason, I was asked to abstain The Good news is that she is in her second trimester now. everything seem normal, the baby kicks often and guess what? we are back doing our thing normal again. She is happy and I am happy too. ![]() Sex during pregnancy is not harmful at all, in fact, it is encouraged so long as both of you enjoy it during this period. I have heard it helps the woman have a less painful labour and delivery. Not sure though, but I believe it anyway. |
Religion is an Opium of the Masses - Karl Max. Christians be very mindful of how you equate mere Pastors to God. They are becoming richer and richer through your hard earned money you pay as tithe, which in anyway is not part of the New testament. Tithe is a product of the Law of Moses, NOT the new testament. Research more on that. |

I will castrate that person. God wont allow any of those past leaders that had hand in this go free. That is for sure.
