Bro, life can be really miserable, and we can’t know it all.
When I got married, I was still in school,no skill, no job, just faith. My wife also had no schooling and no skill at the time.
Today, I earn six figures. I’m not rich, not poor, just average.
The irony is that after 15 years of marriage, we went our separate ways. 💔
What caused this separation? Do you mind sharing?

My aunty is married to one. Sadly she isn't on NL. All she does is disturb me for money. There are many women married to such men.
I'm guessing she has "gbakamu", as Yoruba people will say. She has accepted her fate.

Love is blind, but na inside marriage eye dey clear.

This dissociation was concocted by NLandIsHypocrit and has nothing to do with Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. Kanu has spoken by himself and via his lawyer (not through NLandIsHypocrit).
Don't mind those ones who have nothing reasonable to contribute to any discourse except empty threats.

Marrying an unintelligent woman is really the worst mistake a man can make.

If I can reverse the Hands of clock I wont go for my current wife.

Well, I always loved an intellectually sound woman. It trips me. Something like a medical doctor or a programmer lady. At minimum a working class lady. Both intellect and beauty trips me.

I imagined a marriage where I'll be on thesame frequency.

I am a 1st class material but financial burden made me drop to second class upper in my 3rd year to 5th year.

I always knew I was going far in life and needed a woman who wanted to go far too.

When I met my wife she was very beautiful, speaks very well and in her 1st year. Each time I asked about her studies she would convince me how she was the best in her class and this and that.

Ask for her results, she would say results are not yet out.

By her 2nd year I married her after she got pregnant. As per the honorable man na

Do you know this girl after I2nd year, all her results were carry over. I mean ALL. Not even 1 pass.

Damn. Women fear women.

Now she just birthing beautiful kids. But now there's communication. Tge knowledge gap between us is too wide. Nothing to discuss about. Even when I try to communicate it frustrates me. I will speak and still explain my very own grammar. Then I will now explain the meaning and the etymology before continuing with the sentence. Its a real pain communicating.

You can imagine my regrets when I see an intelligent hardworking lady doctor outside.

Secondly, she doesn't want to work or even study to improve herself.

I am not poor by any means. I am a software developer. I earn about N4 million monthly.

But my wife is only happy selling ZOBO and kwulikwuli. Even at that she is not serious with it. Imagine this year she has not even started selling anything. January has passed.

I've told her to learn and IT skills. She says No.

Told her learn nursing, she said No

I did international passport for me, her and our 3 kids. She just came up and said she won't like to travel abroad. Her fears is that women there are likely going to be working on jobs.

Ok. Madam lets open Boutique for you - she no get the energy to run boutique.

Oya learn driving and be taking the kids to school - it is taking her almost 3 years to learn. Today she will drive, tomorrow she will forget it.

Oya madam go back to school and complete your education. She no want.

Every quarrel, she will threaten to commit suicide (informing random relations of mine to take care good of her children if anything happens to her) and accuse me of not seeing any value in her. Madam which value? You don't want to improve yourself and you now cry that I am improving.

She wants this and that and I spend so much. How can a man be spending more than 3 million every month? She want chop chop chop.

Since I met her, I have overworked myself.

Story long..

Sometimes, I always feel like quitting this marriage. But being a Christian, I feel trapped in this better for worse journey.

If only Madam can develop herself. I wish she can be just willing to learn or pursue knowledge. Let her drop this laziness about self-development and littleness mindset thing. Kai. No ambition. No dreams. I wish she can just have dreams for once in her life. And be a lover of wisdom.

I plan to go far in this life. But its difficult to do so when you're unequally yoked with an unambitious partner.

Only God can save my marriage at this rate things are going
You only have yourself to blame, oga. Some women are just not built to be ambitious and your wife is one of them. If you wanted a woman on your wavelength, you should have used a condom

Namibians and Nigerians have been dragging each other on Twitter (X) for sometime now. It started when a Nigerian "innocently" asked if Namibia has airports. Namibia has been on our matter since then, cooking us with undeniable facts.

I was going to add my voice in defence of my country, but after a Namibian posted the below, I calmed down, shut up and moonwalked out of the space.

Which kain see finish be dis? This one really enter. This is just the height of it 🤦🏿‍♂️🤦🏿‍♂️🤦🏿‍♂️

Jesus said give to God what belongs to God and give to Caesar what belongs to Caesar, and he said my kingdom is not of this world. And Steven said, he saw the son of man in glory at the right hand of the father. This kingdom of God has not yet come to this world or better still has not yet become the kingdom of God.

This world will pass away but the word of God is eternal.

Op, you will keep failing until you go to God for help. Read Psalm 8, 3times or 7 times and just ask God for help. That's a start

I feel teary and speechless after reading this embarassed

Life is full of ups and downs. And to be a man is not a day job.

To start with, I'd advise you consult a spiritual adviser. Tell your mum to take you to a strong spiritual adviser for cleansing. PLEASE DON'T IGNORE THIS ADVICE.

You may be under a generational curse just like you said, but wouldn't know. The spiritual rules and will continue to rule the physical.

To make it in life, you have to take the bull by the horn. Fortune they say, favors the brave. Life does not reward meekness, it rewards courage.

I really feel your pain. There's nothing more painful than wasted efforts. And Nigeria is not even a safe place to birth a child again because the country is only going to get worse.

NOW LISTEN CAREFULLY, THIS IS MY LITTLE ADVISE TO YOU:

If you can, tell your mum to tell her relatives and also your dad's relatives to do fund raising and send you abroad (UK, Germany, Austria).

Currently, this is your best bet. Leave the thought of schooling or handwork for now. Fight to leave Nigeria first. You can further your education to any extent once you travel out.

Infact it's more easier over there, because you'll be schooling and also working (and also saving). So you see, it's a win win situation.

Maybe, it won't be rosy at the beginning, but with time, things will fall place and you'll start living well, get married, have kids, acquire properties, and begin to live the life you've always imagined.

Things are very hard for people with siblings, talk more of you with no sibling(s).

START NOW AND DON'T RELENT. GOD WILL SEE YOU THROUGH.
Nothing will work out for him until the yoke of disappointment and failure at the edge of breakthrough is broken. He needs deliverance.

Many have said that there is no insecurity in the East and that it's outsiders that are spreading a false story about insecurity in order to give the East a bad name.

So why are some people now talking about security if this is true.

If what they have been saying all this while is true then there is absolutely nothing to be afraid of.

As in ehn cheesy

People have become very reckless and irresponsible in this era of social media. I don't care about any of them, personally. What bothers me is when the innocent ones start getting affected by the recklessness of the adults. I know if it was up to Mercy she will just keep ignoring, but now all the online talk has started causing stigma for her kids in school, and I am guessing that is the drawing line for her.

People need to do better. There is so much lunacy going on online. No more boundaries and nothing is anathema for people anymore.

He's a wicked guy, why waste her time when he isn't ready to marry her? undecided

Before I got married there was this Akwa-Ibom girl I had something with. I noticed her character and I told her I ain't ready for serious relationship. She said no problem that's she's ok with it, maybe she was hoping I would change my mind which never happened.......Few months later she saw me with another girl, ( now my wife) though she felt sad but she accepted her fate because I made it clear to her from day one she isn't my type.
As it should be. Define your relationship early on in the relationship to avoid stories that break the heart.
