I can't remember which condition exactly but I remembered seeing a post from her saying she has it and the gynaecologist put her chances of conceiving as low as 10% when she had her first pregnancy. Either she has been extremely lucky or spared no costs on fertility treatments. I pray same luck locates other TTC ladies out there.
A mighty amen.

I don't want to put it down to luck. I think it is just mercy and grace speaking for her

She has PCOS or endometriosis, one of those conditions that makes conceiving very hard I can't remember which. People like that don't take chances and space their pregnancies. They can pop out babies every year if given opportunity
She is able to conceive with speed with this kind of medical condition?
BusinessRe: Nigerian Lady Calls Out Chinese Shipping Company Over High Clearing Fees(photos) by Ishilove:
If she shipped these boxes through Airfreight, then the cost will be astronomically high. Did she instruct them to repackage or consolidate into smaller boxes? If she didn't then she has 50% of the blame because some of these companies will package your goods exactly as how they were delivered if you don't instruct them otherwise.

However, since this is container, the boxes look like a quarter of a container space which shouldn't cost as much as 5m, high exchange rate or not. Haba mana. We need to ask what you imported first. Are they dutiable items?

Madam, they have ripped you off. This is just crazy.
FamilyRe: Husbands, Widowers Can Take Their Wives Surnames - South Africa's highest Court by Ishilove: 10:18am On Sep 16, 2025

Koreans didn't get surnames until the 20th century, it's why so many of them share the same surname. They just gathered and collected the surname of the main ruling family in their village (if Lee was the Chief, everyone in the village became Lee etc). So surname no dey shack their body.

We as Africans, we need to find achievements because this is getting embarrassing. Insecure people sure do beat their chests loudly.
Even the Royal families of the European countries we are copying didn't have surnames until as recent as the 20th century, if I am correct. I just only found out that the British monarchy changed their family name after the first world war. These ones foaming at the mouth on this thread are just displaying their insecurities and useless ego

Oh no, oh dear. That means that all the men in South Korea, China and Japan (for example) are unworthy. Their countries are probably worse than Nigeria because of this huge problem...wait...let's go and confirm how horrible their countries are, compared to ours.

I just checked, it's raining in Seoul and also raining in Lagos. Which city do you think still has electricity (an old 19th century invention) during the rain?

Do you have light, m'dear?

In Seoul, those "unworthy" men who let their wives keep their surnames have created a country where there's light as it is raining.

See the problem I have with the Black race (and it's a general problem amongst all of us, African, West Indian, Black American) is that we have so little achievements, we have no little to recommend us to stand with our peers that we cover our insecurities by beating our chests loudly and screaming about things that are not important in the long run. White man and Asian man don't need to flex their muscle to oppress women and children, because their achievements rule the world, unlike us.

A woman's surname is another man's surname, be it her father or her husband.

And even in the Old Testament, men did honour their Father-in-laws with decades of service and loyalty, becoming his son (they didn't pick his last name because in ancient times, people didn't really have surnames, they named you and added the location where you were born).
Choosing to become your FiL's son and serving him for decades can be akin to saying "I'm picking my wife's surname to honour her father", abi?

Just a thought.

Now, how about we stop focusing on insignificant minors that lead to nothing productive and actually worry about fixing the moral decay in our society that has made us a global name for fraud, poverty, corruption and crime, hmmm?

Good morning y'all.
Surnames are a European adoption. My own father's surname is his grandfather's first name. My father's siblings all have different surnames and my grandfather had his own surname, also different. In short, it is confusing even though Dad has explained it to me several times. What i do know is the whole extended family has a common clan name...

Frack, it is still confusing undecided undecided

Deicide:
Am suspecting the Child is not dead and the dad what to keep the Child. Cause all this doesn't make any sense. Why not inform the mother when the child was sick. Even if the Child was not sick there should still be communicating between the Child and her mother from time to time.
That is what came to my mind immediately I saw the story. I doubt the child is dead. I seriously doubt it because I have never heard of this kind of thing in my life. So if the girl was not to resume school, they would not have informed the mum of her passing?

The story has plenty holes and potholes.

How are we sure the girl is truly dead? This could be a ploy to japa with the girl and leave the mother hanging because this is all very strange. The police need to do some serious investigation. The child's body has to be exhumed and an autopsy conducted (if indeed she is truly dead).

What will the man say if the child passed away while in your care? It's best to grieve and continue with your life. We both understand that the father didn't cause the child's death; something else did.
It still begs the question why she was not informed of the child's sickness to the point of death, and even burial. I mean, who does that?? How can you do that to a mother??

He has a lot of explaining to do

Some people said:

But I knew about Ashrita Furman in the 1990s and he began his record setting campaign in 1979.

Others said:

But Ashrita Furman is an American.

Who is Ashrita Furman?

Ashrita Furman is the man that has the Guinness World Record for the most world records.

His world records include things like doing 27,000 jumping jacks (that's the first world record that he set in 1979), most jumps on a pogo stick (I watched the video of him setting this world record in the 2000s), most pogo stick jumps under water, etc.

These "strange" world records have not stopped America from going to space or doing any other thing. You see, it's not Ashrita Furman's job to do any of the other things and there is no correlation between them, just as it's not Hilda Baci's job to do any of those other things.

Here is a video of Ashrita Furman. He is demonstrating some of his world records. I'll explain them to you. The first one is running on stilts, the second is jumping on a pogo stick while juggling three balls, the third is balancing on a cylinder, the fourth is using a hula hoop, we come back to the pogo stick (while he explains that his favourite record is jumping on a pogo stick up and down Mount Fuji in Japan) then there is sack racing and finally there is bouncing on an exercise ball.

I often bought the Guinness World Record book in the 1980s and they showed the Guinness World Record TV show on Nigerian TV in the 1990s and 2000s.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_E70jj0wNSo?si=WZ4AW4oYs_1TKfIS

Ashrita Furman has set more than 700 official Guinness World Records since 1979 and currently holds over 200 standing records, including the official record for holding the most records at once.

these guys are the ones who will be at the back when the company is starting a project

what hilda did here is hands on project management

conceptualization, planning and execution even through unexpected failures

she decided on this. she found a stakeholder to sell the idea to
she took pen and paper and excel to calculate how much material would be required
she engaged with third parties to design and build the pot
she did stakeholder management with gino, lasg , the hotel and the community
she hired people who se could trust as team members
she executed personally
all the while she presented a smiling face to the public while under massive amounts of stress
i only hope she did not have to use something to stay in the zone - i read that a lot of chefs have drug problems

on difficult projects in trouble i have seen people like these wailers trying to knock her - when the going gets tough - they get out the door ghosting everyone
‎You have said it all. I first saw the video on Twitter and listened to the GWR guy list out the criteria they gave her. In my mind I was thinking "if I'm the one I would have just abandoned the whole idea because WTF is are these impossible sounding guidelines they are giving me??!" I'm someone who doesn't like stress and the whole thing sounded like one whole stress giving project, but not to Hilda. It took her and her team the better part of ONE WHOLE year to perfect the plan. TWO months to figure out how to fabricate the pot, several months finalising the  sponsors. Just thinking of the whole stress is making me weak.

‎The planning that went into this project was very technical, yet these ones here are capping crap and looking down at this young lady's efforts?? Like someone noted, let the wailers and their family members go and be record breakers in science and whatever is their professional fields, and then come back here to tell us just how easy it is.

‎Bunch of mediocre wailers

Don't mind them capping trash. They are calling the record 'inconsequential', but forget that she is a professional chef and she is doing what she knows best; cooking. She is making records in her field of profession. Since they are denigrating the record, how about they try to make and break records in their own field? Since they can run their mouths here, let them go offline and make a record and come back here to tell us just how easy it is.

As I was watching the video, it dawned on me the kind of work this lady, her team and Gino put into making this record. My admiration for this young lady keeps growing in leaps and bounds.

😅Exactly!
Okay... How about you attempt the same thing she did? Has anyone ever attempted to cook that quantity, anywhere?? It is very easy to denigrate someone's hardwork until you attempt it yourself. She is a professional chef and she has made a record for herself in her field. If you don't agree with me, well, it is your prerogative. Why not go ahead and do something in your profession that nobody has attempted and see how easy it is.

In a reasonable country, this is career suicide. A lawyer who covets his deceased clients possession? You want to transfer your clients wealth to your self as the beneficiaries aren’t aware 😄😄😄. Imagine how many property he has hidden for clients that families are unaware? Very similar to what some bankers do.

Late JT Useni bought a house in 1991 for £110,000 and probably never stepped foot in it. The greed of African leader never ceases to amaze me.
Imagine the primary healthcare centers, schools, and scholarships £110,000 in 1991 could provide for his constituents? (BTW that’s £301,800 or N618,000,000 😄)

Greedy fella, the Crown Estate might probably take ownership of the house and auction it and use the money to support the British people as we Africans no wan get sense.
Useni couldn't buy properties in his name because at that time, Nigeria was under the international radar for human rights abuses during the military regime of IBB. Lots of government officials were doing this

Compare this sound judgement with the judges that have started giving Emefiele back his loot on unbelievable mathematics.

If this was Nigeria, the judge, despite knowing the Shani sounds middle belt, the cousin is Igbo and the son is Yoruba, would allow this case to fly, exactly like that!!

HealthDoctor Leaves Patient In The Middle Of Surgery To Have Sex With Nurse by Ishilove(op): 4:02am On Sep 15, 2025
A doctor in the United Kingdom abandoned a patient on an operating table under anaesthetic to have sex with a nurse in another room, a medical tribunal has heard.

Dr Suhail Anjum, 44, and the unnamed nurse were caught in a “compromising position” by a “shocked” colleague at Tameside Hospital in Greater Manchester.

According to the BBC, the incident, which occurred in September 2023, came to light during a fitness to practise hearing after Dr Anjum who had been living in Pakistan applied to resume work in the UK.

He did not contest the evidence presented against him by the General Medical Council (GMC) and admitted his behaviour had been “shameful”.

The consultant anaesthetist had told colleagues he needed a “comfort break” and asked another nurse to monitor the male patient halfway through surgery. Instead, he went to another operating theatre in Ashton-under-Lyne where he had sex with a woman identified as Nurse C.

Andrew Molloy, representing the GMC, said the colleague who walked in on them had been “shocked and quickly walked through the theatre to the exit doors”.

Dr Anjum, who was absent for about eight minutes, later returned to complete the procedure. Mr Molloy confirmed that “no harm came to the patient when Dr Anjum was absent from the theatre and the procedure went on without further incident”.

The nurse who discovered the pair reported the matter to her line manager.

During the hearing, Dr Anjum admitted to engaging in sexual activity with Nurse C and acknowledged his actions could have put the patient at risk.

He said he knew she was “likely to be nearby” when he left the operating theatre.

Dr Anjum told the Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service he wanted to resume his medical career in the UK, describing the incident as a “one-off error of judgment”. Giving evidence, he said: “It was quite shameful, to say the least. I only have myself to blame.”

He admitted letting down colleagues and the NHS trust, adding: “I offer my sincere apologies to everyone involved and I want the opportunity to put this right.”

The doctor said the incident came after a “stressful time” for his family, when he and his wife were struggling “to connect as a couple” following the premature birth of his daughter.

FoodRe: Hilda Baci’s Gigantic Jollof Pot Collapses During Guinness World Record Attempt by Ishilove:
hatchy:
Nigeria has finally found its true destiny: not in satellites, not in science, not in industry—but in a big steaming pot of Guinness-certified rice. While other nations are busy cracking nuclear fusion and inventing AI that can write symphonies, our heroes are sweating over bags most likely imported from Thailand and stove made in China, to break the record for “Biggest Cooking of Jellof Rice.”

The government is furious. Not because they hate rice—after all, rice is their official campaign promise and retirement package—but because the cooked rice is being given freely to hungry citizens. And how dare you? How dare you fill the stomachs of the poor when hunger is the government’s number one instrument of policy! If people stop being hungry, who will clap for bags of rice during elections?

Kudos to the 100% Nigerian invented hunger. The crowd cheers as if the discovery of electricity has just happened in Nigeria. “World record!” they scream, as though the rice itself has defeated poverty.

In South Korea, they’re building robots that perform surgery. In Germany, they’re designing cars that drive themselves. In China, they’re building entire cities from scratch in a year. In Nigeria? We are immortalizing the heroic act of “stirring jellof rice.” A nation that cannot produce a single matchstick has just conquered the art of cooking for Guinness glory.

But don’t worry—our leaders will soon arrive, wearing agbadas like parachutes, to cut ribbons, take selfies, and announce that Nigeria is now “a global power in jellof rice cooking.” And the poor, bellies temporarily full, will clap with greasy hands while the government secretly plots the next round of hunger.

Because in Nigeria, science is imported, technology is borrowed, the economy is mortgaged—but hunger? Hunger is the only local content we have perfected
Abeg make una rest. Hilda is a CHEF and a private citizen. Do you want a chef to build nuclear weapons or perform 'surgeries' with her kitchen spatula?? She is making strides in her profession and putting Nigeria on the world map with her skills doing what she knows best.
