Gladiator II........6.9/10

Nothing special unlike the first which was profound.
It was an entertaining watch.

The plot was somewhat weak, but the grand style of the movie was enough to paper the cracks in. The fights and battles was enough to keep me entertained for the whole watch.

Denzel Washington portrayal and character was a little over the top and his character arc was hardly believable. The two emperors were basically imps with no substance or quality character development or backstory.

The politics too tame for something reminiscent of the Roman Republic or the Roman Empire. It was a little too simplistic. Bad rulers vs the good of the people. The people were hardly even touched asides from reactionary revelry from the gladiatorial fights in the arena.
Ridley Scott dropped the ball on this one and I'm glad I held off watching this at the Cinema cos I was almost tempted by the trailer and cast.

Despite it's shortcomings it's a decent watch. I was entertained.

then as a conservative matter, you can type it into common sense media so you get advance warning of any sexual themes

This is one of the most disgusting movie I've ever seen and I was kinda high while watching it so some of the shiit going on was kinda trippy. 🤮🤮

You all should just chill. Teaching that age group is not easy. If you are not careful they will turn u into a witch. A teacher should never hit a child with hand in my opinion though. That right is reserved for the parents and only under very specific circumstances, if at all. Just use a short cane to tap, tap, tap.

Your problem is that you're just too emotional. Go and reread what I wrote again. I didn't justify her action in any way. I CONDEMNED IT entirely. My main focus is on how she should be disciplined. From the video I saw here, my judgement was that there wasn't any malicious intent from her to harm the child. She continued teaching the child and didn't show extreme signs of frustration. These are things to consider when judging her.

This is where it starts from. This is why Nigerians have to be whipped to stay in a queue. Because we have been raised like animals from childhood, like animals we can only respond to a stick and cannot be counted on to use common sense.

Yujin, this is not how a good teacher helps your child learn. And claiming a child who's face you can not even see, is not injured or crying is disingenuous. You know very well that if you receive just one of the slaps that child received, there'd certainly be tears in your eyes, how much less or more a child of that age!

Please, if you want one on one tutoring for you child, get a kind and considerate person who will not emotionally damage your child for life. The person in that video should not be teaching at all.

I believe this is a private school. The person recording this video should have intervened by confronting the teacher and reporting to the head mistress. If nothing is done, then she can report to lagos state government. But then again for those of us that went to military secondary school. This one na moi moi.

To be candid, I've witnessed when a lady so provoked my cousin years back, to a point of helplessness. She will allow the dude to dress up in tie,about to leave for work before she will barricade the door,clinging to the tie and telling the bros to beat her if he was indeed a man.....! Ask me the reason for the drama, just to go meet the family over an assumed pregnancy, which later turned false when she reported the issue to his office and a preg test was conducted in a renowned diagnostic facility which discredited the fraudulent paper she was ranting with in the house every day. I couldn't fathom how my cousin was that gentlemanly then,probably because I was younger but I know that going by my temperament then,she would have lost one or two teeth before the issue was resolved. She moved out in shame when the chips were down that there wasn't any pregnancy anywhere but you needed to have witnessed the pandemonium that clown created for us who went on vacation for a few weeks.
Some women are demonic and agents or media to wreck men while some,like my wife are angels 😇 sent to make your life blissful.........👍
