Time doesn't matter. Try get there as soon as you can so you can leave on time. I choosed 2pm but I decided to go in the morning and I wasn't ask why did I come in the morning. Time didn't count to them, what matters to them is the date

Go straight to servicom to write down your name, after that you will go to the hall to wait till they call your name. When you hear your name, you will go to the place you write down your and arrange your documents.

I captured at Alausa passport yesterday as DIY. It went so well until when we got to the final stage for capturing, they said no service to verify NIN. We waited for 2hours 30mins before they start calling us back that service has come up. So, attended to us and left there around 4:30pm

Capturing is 26th of September

On NIS website you will see where you will download guarantor form, but you can only download it if you have make payment for your application

My guarantor took the form himself to the commissioner of oath and I just want to confirm if this is how the stamp and signature going to look like and is it compulsory he fill those blank space? Because he only filled is name, residential address and signature

Application letter is compulsory. It is just a simple application letter. You write it on A4 paper with biro and address it to PCO.

For renewal, you don't need a guarantor. It is only fresh application that requires guarantor form. You can generate that on NIS application portal.

You can open file on her behave if you want to do that before your capture date. Just ensure you go with all the required documents.

Of course, a 21 years old person can be your guarantor. As long as the person's passport is still valid and willing to sign for you and give you photocopy of his/her passport data page.

Just make sure all your documents are complete and you are ready to spend almost the whole day there. NIN verification is what take most people's time at Alausa. Once you submit your application form, they may not call your name again to confirm your NIN verification in the next 10 hours, and you may be lucky. Check back previous posts here to be double sure of all the necessary documents. Iree o!

Good morning beautiful people. I'm going for re-issue and I have registered as DIY at Alausa. Application letter is requested when coming for my capturing, how am I going to do that? And as a renewal do I need a guarantor?

Secondly, I both registered for myself and wife, while her own is fresh passport. Can I open file on behalf of her without her being there because of her work schedule, but she will be around on our capturing day, because we both chooses same date and time.

Can a colleague of 21 years of age be our guarantor and is her photocopy of intl passport data page and her passport photograph enough or do we still need guarantor National ID and driver's licenses.

You have to fill a desperate Ds-160 form for the both of them. When filling the form, don’t forget to add your daughters details to your wife in the section of who would be traveling with as well as your child’s. For the appointment, you’ll fill only one and add your daughter to the mum as primary applicant, you’ll be able to add both receipts to one appointment.

Both needs to fill the form and have an appointment for interview too. Your child could be scheduled alongside your wife via her profile or you set one up for the child (this is actually the better option to avoid future worries.

So my wife will have her own ds160 form and visa appointment and my daughter will also fill her own ds160 and visa appointment. But what I want to know is that is it possible for my wife and my daughter to have same date and time for visa interview. And my daughter is just 3years.

Hi Guru's in the house, I really need your assistance on how to fill my US visa application. Actually I have been denied in Feb this year @ US embassy in Lagos. An agent helped me with the application, I knows all the info he used for me and I also have my DS160 print out with me. I want to reapply in October, but i needs your assistance on how to fill the application on their website. All I want now is the steps to complete the form. Which will come first? Appointment booking, DS160 or Visa fees.

The thing abt it all is to pray to be interviewed by the right person. She didn't give any of the 3 persons she interviewed while I ws on queue. she wasn't even smiling or looking up. she jst kept typing and typing thruout, " like say her mind dey smwhere else". I culd tell she wsnt in a good mood, yhe the moment I joined d queue. some other v.o were really nice and welcoming. " she jst stood like an armed officer ready for battle.

Same interview with mine, no different. The only two reasons why they deny me is because of the marital status and no travel experience and I guess that's the same reason why they deny you too. The two questions come after each other and if the two answers is no, that mean they will deny someone, either u are married or been travel outta the country, that helps in obtaining their visa. But I believe miracles happen. All is well, I will reapply soon sha. Good luck bro

Your problem is that the US assume that your intention is to immigrate (overstay)
This means that you must provide strong ties to return home before a visa will be issued.
Landed property that you manage, family, children, or letter of leave from employer are good.
Single person, small savings, no job are bad.

I have the letter of leave with me and I also have a good job. But all this landed properties document ain't checked.

I had my interview on 25th of Feb and I was deny. Actually I was going for visiting during the Easter period so that I would be able to spend my Easter vacation which is 2 weeks with my Aunt in the state.

NeXt thing was you won't be able to grant visa now, you may reapply.

I guess where the problem from is that am single and no travel experience. So when I told my Aunt that I was deny, she ask me to reapply that she will contact the embassy a day before my neXt interview date.

All I need from you guru's is how soon can I reapply, because am going for Easter vacation. And can anybody help me with the embassy contact.
