After the death of our mom, being the last born and only girl, she became the queen of the family. I saw her through university in Nigeria. She's in Canada now doing her masters at almost $36,000 USD. Being the oldest son I sold one house, and going through 'hell' now to pay her tuition in Canada. I just don't want to ever think she will be ungrateful to me one day after this. I haven't even married because of carrying the burden of others. Maybe my expectations from them is high. I just don't want to regret all this one day. This is why I'm asking experienced people for guide. I got some points already. God bless you all.I think what you need is just prayer. And always let your little sister know how hard it is to get the money. Dont let her just feel like the money is raining on you or like your're plucking it from your garden. Godbless! |

(1) THE CAUSE: The cause is very easy to identify. It's because they have forgotten how needy they were before. Alot of people fall under this category. You help them and they forget you and think they are better not because of you. Most people just remember today and forget tomorrow. @ op a very nice and pressing topic. It's the same with those who are your friends who have a little upliftment in their status or life and they start boning (slang for ignoring especially when you greet them.) (2) HOW TO AVOID THIS: There is no sure way of avoiding this behaviour. Although it comes mostly from women, its also done by some men. The only solution is to avoid helping people with such behaviours (for people who have portrayed such behaviour before. ). Or better still help and expect nothing in return, not even a Thank you. That's just the only way to go about it. (3) HOW TO REACT Just ignore and forget. Assume you did it for God and he (God) will surely reward you. People are just not always trustworthy enough to help them so they can help you later, rather, help because it's good and nice for you to do so. Even helping so that you can be helped (not compulsorily by the one who helped you.) can also sometimes be disappointing.[/quote] CONCLUSION: Helping is like a gamble. You must never stake too much no matter how favourable the odds might be because even at that, it's not certain its only likely. In otherwords, you must not help beyond your capacity. What causes most of this complaints about people being ungrateful is being hurt. Most people get hurt because they help more than they can or should. When you help people discreetly, if they lack appreciation, you know them for who they are and you Thank your God that you did not help beyond your capacity. Arsenal 2 win this one. I remember beating them in their home last season with their fore mentioned players as listed above and drawing with them in my home (2-2) with a 2goal equaliser after Liverpool took the lead by 2goals after the first half of the game. Liverpool is no threat for arsenal. I see a both team score game. Overgoal (2.5) A most likely arsenal win. |

What you need is to chill and pray for the best. I can remember UNILAG last year, when their first (merit) list came out, people where ancious as it took more than two months before their second list came out and by then alot of people have waited and lost hope and thought its not comming out again. Same is also for YABATECH that'll release their cut-off's yet it'll take them months to release their admission list officially. So lets just chill and have hope and lastly not forget to pray. I paid for form and past questions via UBA BANK e-transact, today (monday), i went there for the payment of N35,300 for the acceptance fee but they said there's no service so i want to know whether it's not available on other bank's e-transact platform since it's on FUTA's website that we should pay through any first bank's e-transact platform. It plays like a song right? Cos i downloaded (vampire diaries) with my nokia 200 (it playes) and sent to ma sis with china phone, another person wif simbian phone and it played on all until i sent it to my other sister's android and it played like a song i.e only talking and not showing. |
