When will NOUN release Post Graduate Graduation list? My project and TP results are also not released, why?

Download your course materials from the website and start reading for the upcoming TMA(CA) and exam.

Sulaimonsb:
Good evening, am an 100 level new student....pls what is the next step after registering for courses and all....i register last Friday. Thank you
EducationRe: National Open University Of Nigeria (NOUN) Students by iskilayodele: 1:36pm On Feb 27, 2022
But what's written on the website is misleading. It says ,"required courses" cant be overlooked, and did not specify whether elective or core.

Using myself as a case study, a PGD student, I have 35 credit units, but I failed Measurement and Evaluation, a core course. I'm troubled cos I really want to graduate next month

Enskynelson:
It depends on the course. If your have a CO in an elective and you have passed all core courses and met other requirements, you will graduate. The elective won't hold you. This I have seen multiple cases.

Does NOUN truly wave carryovers for Post Graduate students who have met the required 30 united credits ?

I just screenshot this from NOUN website. Any clarification?

Solicit for help; or better still join various NOUN WhatsApp groups for free TMAs answers. Many groups disseminates free answers, especially for GSTs

ThinkSmarter:
I scored 22 in TMA, 27/70 in exam.
And I did all my TMAs by myself.
Maybe, I will solicit for help this time.
EducationRe: National Open University Of Nigeria (NOUN) Students by iskilayodele: 11:20am On Feb 27, 2022
How come the facilitator didn't add 1mark to your score!? I had 30 in the TMA and 19/70 in the E exam and I saw C. I doubt if you actually scored 49 or maybe you ran out of luck

ThinkSmarter:
Pls sir if it happens that a masters student fail, let`s assume two courses (Only 2 courses out of the total required courses in a programme) with total CU of 5.
Will one be required to write only the two courses or borrow another courses to meet up with the minimum CU for cgpa calc?
Also i got 49 in a course gst807, but i failed it.
Does it mean 49 is not a passmark at MSc level?

TravelRe: Nigerian Nurses And Midwives With The Dream Of Working Abroad Let's Meet Here. by iskilayodele: 6:09pm On Feb 23, 2022
Just go to Saint Monica University In Cameroon for your nursing programme. I know many Nigerians with RN that have gotten their BSN from that institution. Their tuition is also relatively cheaper than many private schools in Nigeria. You will graduate in 3-4 years.

For further, info, my email is iskilmuibi@gmail. com

vickyehi:
For my nurses who schooled in Cameroon, I am thinking of referring someone there for the hnd program. Please how many years is it and can you provide me with schools that offer this course to international students from Nigeria.

Candidate is hoping to resume ASAP.

EducationRe: National Open University Of Nigeria (NOUN) Students by iskilayodele: 2:01pm On Feb 23, 2022
Well, you may be right that some conventional universities in Nigeria eg. University of Abuja do deny NOUN students admission for post graduate studies. There is no doubt about that. However, the panacea to this is simply for NOUN to up her entry standards in order to be admitting quality students.

Like the op above said, in terms of recognition , we are recognized world wide but in terms of discrimination, yes, we are discriminated against within Nigeria but not abroad.

Mind you, even private universities in Nigeria are discriminated against; same as our polytechnics . Similarly, federal and state degree certificates also face discrimination abroad, especially in the job market just as your black skin colour will face discrimination if you travel abroad

Seaseason07:
Continue live in your false Paradise. Ask yourself. Why NOUN Degrees are rejected by federal Universities? Once you aquired your first degree there, you can't further at any Federal University and I know of some State Universities too. Why wasting your time and money? You can never further your education any else in the world and if you must in Nigeria, it must be in NOUN. Big RESTRICTIONS! Never too late to drop out now. I pity you
EducationRe: National Open University Of Nigeria (NOUN) Students by iskilayodele: 1:37pm On Feb 23, 2022
Well, at least we don't go on strike like the conventional universities. And in addition, malpractice, sex for marks and sorting do not exist in NOUN as it were in conventional university. Therefore, the level of dedication of students to their studies is at maximum compared to NOUN adversaries

Seaseason07:
NO! They won't remove me because I'm saying the truth. I'm trying safe innocent ones from falling into that pit hole so that they don't make a grave mistake because wasting 4 years and money is so fuc!<in' grave mistake In fact , one with small mind can commit suicide. You're already in that shit, don't MISLEAD others ok!
EducationRe: National Open University Of Nigeria (NOUN) Students by iskilayodele: 12:52pm On Feb 23, 2022
Admin: kindly remove or block this dimwitted guy. He's not meant to be here; if care is not taken, he will be a pain in the asses of NOUNITES - we must not be mocked

Seaseason07:
Former president? grin grin grin Hello! Listen to me. If you're in 300L in NOUN, and you drop out to start from 100L in a conventional University, no one will blame you for it. In fact, in 4 years to come, you'd thank yourself for taken that decision. I WILL KEEP TELLING AN ASPIRANTS TO STAY AWAY FROM NONU. No certificate from NOUN is useful. A certificate rejected from here In Nigeria? Nowhere in the world would accept it. In fact I keep telling any aspirant to seek an admission in either Federal or State University. Some certificates from private Universities in Nigeria are not accepted talk of la cram-la pour NOUN Called University. You'd better drop out now before is too late.
EducationRe: National Open University Of Nigeria (NOUN) Students by iskilayodele: 12:31pm On Feb 23, 2022
Are you a post graduate or an undergraduate student?

YakubuLagos:
Hello everyone...

My project result came out two days ago.

My question is, will there still going to be another graduation list?

If there is going to be another list, do upload here for me to view and for the benefit of others.

Thanks
EducationRe: National Open University Of Nigeria (NOUN) Students by iskilayodele: 11:47am On Feb 23, 2022
Why did you worry yourself in replying the ignoramus!? NOUN is already overwhelmed with thousands of students, hence the reason for delay in result and graduation list.

Leave the naysayers alone to think whatever they want to think about NOUN. Moreover, there are many UI, OAU and Unilag graduates in the streets driving Keke Napep, Korope and Okada with their certificates. So who cares about where you graduate from in today's Nigeria

Fkjsd:
You are one of the students or outsider that thinks or feels NOUN's certificate is not recognized anywhere. It is a shame to you because I can give you 100% proof that NOUN's certificate is recognized worldwide. If you think it is a lie go and ask former president, Obasanjo.

Stop spreading lies about what you do not know.
EducationRe: National Open University Of Nigeria (NOUN) Students by iskilayodele: 10:02am On Feb 23, 2022

Is it possible to transfer from NOUN to UNILAG or any conventional University in Nigeria?

So therefore, there is no hope of graduating this semester. That being said, if I re-register the course and pass it this semester, would I be able to get notification of result for my programme immediately after this semester?
The thought of waiting till 2023 to receive my certificate is painful!!!

Enskynelson:
Measurement and Evaluation is a very important course. I don't think your department will waive that
EducationRe: National Open University Of Nigeria (NOUN) Students by iskilayodele: 6:07pm On Feb 21, 2022
Hello mates! I'm a PGDE student, second semester. I just saw my result and I noticed that I failed "Evaluation and Measurement* which is a core course". However, I have cleared all other required courses including Project and teaching practice except the above course that I failed. Pls what is my chance of graduating? And also, what is the total required credit units for PGD?

My current Total credit earned is 35 credits. Thanks in anticipation

Your best bet is to send complain through IRCC webform. And it will take them like 3weeks to get to you. And by the way, which school in South Korea did you get scholarship from? Thanks in anticipation.

Yes, you can. It's called 'dual intent'.

Don't panic, Canada visa is easy if you can accept Jesus as your lord and saviour. Good luck.

Good Morning Nairalanders, I would appreciate if someone can confirm if is legal to apply for 2 different visas-Visiting Visa and Study Visa for Canada at the same time. I went through the thread but couldn't find the answer to this question. The admission route is taking too long.
