Family › Re: What My Fiancee Said Is Bothering Me by ismart: 8:35am On Feb 20, 2020 |
DanTunde: I had to create a new account to post this. I was having a discussion with my fiancee the other day, I asked her what if we got married and I beat her one day. She laughed and said, that any day I would raise my hand on her she would either poison me or ruin me so bad. We have been dating for 2 years now, and our wedding is scheduled for April. Since she said this, I have been having a serious rethink. What if she means what she said, cause my fiancee is pretty determined? You are an idiot. Why would even nurse such thought in the first place? |

IamD18: Again I say, Clout-Chasing, Personal financial gains and popularity sake are the reason most people are starting up some useless foundations. . the poverty mentality of many Nigerians is the cause. People who one way or the other find wealth can't resist the urge to be in our eyes Well, Alex report seems to have captured some mumu, riding on the back of nairaland. Cashing out nothing less than 500k per PR |

Politics › Re: 2023: Parties, Groups May Merge To ‘battle’ APC by ismart: 4:14pm On Dec 01, 2019 |
festacman: Any new political realignment that has people like Pat Utomi, Oby Ezekwesili, Shehu Sani, etc. will not succeed. The reason is simple: 1. They are basically elitists and theorists who haven't done much in their local political environment. Since politics by its nature is LOCAL, they are already handicapped abinitio. 2. Again, democracy, is a POPULARITY contest in which all classes of people vote. Since most of these people are active on social media and conferences but don't have connection with the STREET via stomach infrastructure or community involvement, they are handicapped to kickstart a new political order. 3. Finally, since the victory of presidential or governorship candidate at the poll is the SUM TOTAL of efforts of political heavyweights at wards, LGAs, federal constituencies and senatorial zones, the effort of some eggheads meeting in Abuja would achieve little.
The only way to enthrone a NEW POLITICAL ORDER in Nigeria today with success is the proper INVOLVEMENT of youths who form majority voters. To achieve this, local youth political activists and enthusiasts who are active in their communities rather than on social media in states across Nigeria should be convened and convinced. Once they buy the idea, the first hurdle will be out of way. Political spread is needed because no political movement that lack spread would win even seroius election in Nigeria. The only problem though is that most of these youth activists are already linked to some of the current politicians and may struggle to free themselves. APT!... |

Treasure17: 5.5billion naira on luxury cars amid the level of poverty hovering around Nigeria ?? Will world come to an end if they channel that huge amount of money towards the development of this country by creating more jobs for the unemployed. Clueless and vision less bunch of people. Very thought provoking. Good move and I hope they win the case against senate. it is just wickedness... This people know Nigeria's death is around the corner and that is why they are stealing as much as possible... I am going to see how they will fly out when airports will be locked down should shitt hit the fans. |

Issokay: So, I saw my husband's (I know his moniker) mobile numbers in a topic under the romance section for people to post their digits where they can be hooked with 'seriously searching ladies' .
I have been wondering why he had to do that. He's quiet kind of, usher in the church, a good father figure etc. Our marriage is 6 years.
I am really confused. Anyways I confronted him and he said he doesn't know how his numbers ended on that topic.
Still confused....time will indeed tell.

royalads: The important to ask these criminals is ' where do they get these guns from?' Who are their sponsors if any? Answers to these questions will help a lot in bringing back sanity in our security sector. You will never get the answer... But let me jug ur memory. Have you ever wondered where all those intercepted guns were taken to? did you hear anything after the interception? did you hear the owners were revealed and arrested? Nigeria is " gun". My only advise IS make as much money as you can so that when shiits gets too much, you can easily migrate to neigbouring african country if you can't go to the west. |

Kingosytex: Ambode said the frozen account isn't his. Na who come get the money? Many people are just planning to ruin this man completely. What exactly is his crime? Haven't they dealt with him enough? It is not his. Try add the bank account if you have online banking and see what will come up. They are just trying to rubbish the man even more, after kicking him out. That account, when added is Lagos state government. They know that many Nigerians do not use their brain and will eat all shiits fed to them. simple |
