There's no doubt in my mind that if APC puts up Rochas as its Presidential candidate in the next election, Ibos will see that as an opportunity to finally destroy APC and ---instead of Supporting his candidacy---vote massively against him.

I'd demote them, refuse their resignation letters, and push a bill in the constitution that says (if you're demoted) your pension/severance is based on your last rank before you left the service. Not only that, the clock for when you are eligible for pension restarts at demotion. That'll knock some sense into others for future reference.

Any appointee that doesn't like the president and commander in chief is permitted by law to tender his/her letter of resignation.

The President is not more important than the constitution. Loyalty is to Motherland first, before anyone else. They betrayed their country with all the impunity they committed during the runup to the elections.

My problem with Mukhtar ramalan Yero is his belief that money and thuggery can get him elected. But he is a very friendly man . We are from the same local government and area. Anytime somebody dies, he goes there and during Sallah he shares money in the area.
I voted for Elrufa'I because of Ramalan yeros words.. El rufa'i was elected simply because he is in Apc and yeros statements. But I see wickedness in the eyes of Elrufa'I. I disagree and I'll tell you why. You believe in the old system, and that's fine, you're entitled to your beliefs. It's about time Nigeria started embracing change in how a orderly society is run.

Visiting grieving locals of your constituency who have suffered a death in their family--- while a noble idea--- is not what decides who makes a good governor; I don't even know what to say about the "sharing of money during Sallah" part. Thats absolutely something a Governor shouldn't do! Its not ethical, period!!!

If El Rufa'i demolishes homes for projects that will benefit the community in the long run, and for the long term, how is it a bad thing? If he demolishes homes that violates city/state ordinances or the original master plan of the State's how does that make him wicked? It's about time Nigerians start embracing change because the world is moving rapidly and Africa's most influential country is even more backwards than countries in Eastern Europe in terms of infrastructure.

It's time Nigerians start thinking "longterm" instead of "Short term". Short term thinking is what put Nigeria into the position she's in today.

I think El Rufa'i will make a good Governor for Kaduna. I believe he proved himself in Abuja, and he will do well as Governor.

Because contrary to Popular opinion, most of the animals in your country reside mainly in the Eastern part of the country. The Western Region isn't that much better when it comes to politics, but they usually know when to draw the line.

Why should they work against the North just because Ibos want that? For your info, Western Nigeria has more in common with Present day Mid-Western Nigeria (History, culture, religion) and Northern Nigeria ( History, Religion) than they do with Eastern Nigeria. Besides, Eastern Nigeria antagonizes everyone else so how will a cooperation come about?

People will rather go to Calabar, Port Harcourt or Uyo than to stop at Onitsha which is closer.

Speaking as a neutral, I would say of all the groups in your country they are the least friendly. They are quite hostile to visitors and it's real work trying to live amongst them.

I think what the Ibos continually fail to recognize is that peoples like the Edos/Itshekiris etc are brothers/cousins to the Yorubas, so attempts to bring hatred between them through politics will always fail. They might be separated in a political mapping i.e the antics on Nnamdi Azikiwe in dividing the Western Region, but when it comes down to the come down, they will always have their siblings' back.

Ibos need to learn to live with, and respect, others. Antagonizing people doesn't earn you any kudos in politics.

If you answered yes to more than one of these questions then after condemning him you should also insist on a solution to the issues he's complaining about, because his livelihood is at stake.
