Go back to that link, it started out as sarcasm, and then the sarcasm started getting attacked, read it all over again, the comment section was divided to two, those using sarcasm (first eight post) and those who felt it was uncalled for (the sarcasm) thus that why the comments you posted above in bold were actually trying to address those who felt the issue was a joke and that the mob went too far...

The headline to this article is atrocious. Makes it sound like she was just an innocent victim of an unruly mob. She refused to be searched and had 2 plastic bottles under her head scarf which were attached to her waist. Is that normal behavior and attire?

It's the behavior of an advanced scout for the Islamists, testing security levels. If she had gotten through the checkpoint, she would most likely have been followed by an actual bomber, or she would have returned later with explosives instead of water bottles.

Today, presidential elections have been shifted to March 28th, APC is facing near bankrupcy leaving many of their State Governors owing salaries.

Buhari's momentum is near dead on many platforms, still solid in the core-muslim North, but battling for survival every where else. Buhari's UK visit, fake Tony Blair and Abuja Hotel interview pictures did not help matters.

The Chatham house fiasco simply re-ignited calls for Buhari to attend a Presidential debate in Nigeria, in front of actual voters

On the social media, APC is feeling the heat. On Twitter for example, one @MrAyeDee has sent many pro-Buhari tweeps into hiding. On Nairaland, the story is the same as some prominent pro-Buhari Nairalanders have abandoned the 'CHANGE' train. The PDP-led federal government on the other hand has been pounding Boko Haram decisively, winning back lost territories and winning more Nigerian hearts in the process - the best campaign strategy ever.

The APC for months had maligned and disrespected the Nigerian military's war on terror, many times helping to spread unverified rumors of Nigerian soldiers fleeing the battle front, or organising interviews with renegade soldiers accusing the military hierarchy of corruption.

Goodluck Jonathan kept faith with the Nigerian army, and today, I dare say that the Nigerian army as presently constituted has shown more loyalty to GEJ than any Nigerian President of living memory, not even Abacha (my own opinion).

Unconfirmed gist suggests that many Buhari campaigners have begun to secretly reachout to President Jonathan looking for soft-landing deals in exchange for support.

Let's see how it goes.
