During the time of our parents, our mothers endured several beatings by their husbands.
Thats y most women of these days (especially me) has sworn to leave their husbands house anyday he raises his filty hands on them.

So, I'm curious to know what our mothers endured? I for one know wife battering and infidelity are things I didn't see or even hear during that time. Not that it wasn't happening, but it wasn't on the increase as we have now.

If you say marriage isn't by force, feel free to leave it when, rather if your husband physically abuse you. It's all a matter of choice.
