Politics › Tompolo Denies Warships Acquisition by ITbomb(op): 8:56am On Dec 15, 2014
“The truth is that these boats in question have been in the care of NIMASA for about two years now. For the avoidance of doubts, the boats are not warships or gunboats as being erroneously spread by mischief makers.

“The boats as acquired are neither equipped with war arsenals nor are they ammunition carriers. They are simply boats equipped with modern surveillance devices to track oil thieves and in the process, increase the nation’s revenue base through NIMASA.

“Similarly, Tompolo is not in charge of the said boats as upon acquisition, the boats were handed over to NIMASA which in turn involved the Nigerian Navy in their usage and operations.

“Perhaps, it is apt to say that this latest blackmail could not have come from any quarter other than some Niger Delta politicians whose desire to enslave others has not only failed but backfired. The masterminds of this cannot cow me to withdraw my support for President Goodluck Jonathan.

“For the avoidance of doubt, Nigerians and indeed the Nigerian media can do the nation a big favour by contacting the Norwegian Embassy for more details on the boats in question”, Bebenimibo concluded.

Why are Nigerians so easily swayed by the media?
Career › Re: TOP 12 Jobs That Would Soon Go On Extinction In Nigeria by ITbomb(m):
I disagree on Civil engineering
Though most of the Supervisory role may be occupied by foreigners, almost all Assistant supervisor or foremen roles are handled by Nigerians most of them civil engineers.

For Security guards, I see an increase instead of decrease

Finally, you erroneously equated farmers with labourers, Farming profession has taken a new level in Nigeria.
While unskilled labourers will always be needed not only in farming but construction etc. So as Nigerians are moving from unskilled to semi skilled / skilled hands, there might be need to import labourers but farming as a professional business will be getting more and more appealing especially when GEJ wins next year election

They are in your heart, unless you are planning to communicate with the dead, they should stay in the background
The essence of the social network (Facebook) was to share trends and updates around you, if you are not expecting any updates from heaven (or hell as the case may be), you can just unfollow them.

hardworkpays:
I understand your point but with this kind of mindset you might find it hard to get a job. There are very few entry level jobs this days however many of the so called experienced jobs can equally be filled by bright entry level candidates, all they need to do is to make sure they update their resume to fit the job description rather than sending the same resume for every job application. Most companies are looking for "I can do it" attitude but unfortunately most job seekers disqualify themselves after seeing the job description even before applying, that's really sad.

“All these and some people still say they want Buhari as President?
A man who said, only last year, that ”an attack on Boko Haram is an attack on the north”?
A man who said, in 2001, that he wants to ”spread sharia throughout the federation”?
A man who said, in 2001, that Muslims should only vote for Muslims[b][”?
A man who said, in 2001, that ”why should Christians be concerned when Muslims cut off their limbs under sharia”?
A man who said, in 2001, that ”after all the limbs that are being cut off are Muslim ones and not Christians, so why should the Christians bother about it”?

“This is the man that some Nigerians are clamouring for to be their President? May God open their eyes and protect them from themselves. May He grant them wisdom and discernment”.

why is airtel charging less in the night?
Every one charges less in the night
They call it off peak period, that is when their network resources are not being used much as businesses shut down during the night
That is why they can afford to do free night calls at night cos the system is free

And when I say everyone I mean Everyone including ashawo
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: New Jobs Opening Everyday In Nigeria But Very Few Qualified Applicant :( by ITbomb(m): 8:27am On Dec 13, 2014
You are right bro,
I went to your site and saw the openings and your clients are also right "finding it difficult to fill a vacancy" But you should note these.

1. Most of the openings you have there are experienced, your clients are to lazy to pick graduate trainees and groom them to managers, they want to pick what another company developed.
2. Most experienced peeps are already working, the other small number that are not working rarely come online to look for jobs, rather they use their own networks and word of mouth within their industry to get a new hire.
3. They should have a long term planning for filling top management by going for graduate trainees when picking one or two experienced hands to guide the up coming ones

whot is the difference between the android and blackberry data? Bcus you can use both on all the phones,
BlackBerry plan sucks data more than Android plan

With android plan no matter the zapping, you are at least sure of between 2.5gig to 3.5gig normal data usage (on 4gig plan) depending on your browsing time (night charge less) while the blackberry plan may not even allow you use up to 1gig on the 4gig plan

Buhari has never won an elective contest before, it is either he is nominated by consensus or he uses the gun to take power or he contest and fail.

I'm going for the third option : contest and fail then he will decamp to where he will be chosen by consensus

world1:
That is the challenge
People still think agriculture is like of old.
I had intended to convert an oil palm plantation to plantain but people advise that the oil palm had suck up most of the nutrients in the soil and that will make the plantain stunted and low yield. Further more, It will cost so much to procure enough fertilizer that can reclaim back the land.

Is that correct? If I want to fallow the land, how long should I keep it after clearing the oil palm
