PoliticsRe: PDP Asks Buhari To Clarify Role In Massacre Of 300 Igbo Soldiers, Civilians by itetemi: 4:28pm On Mar 22, 2015
Rescue Nigeria, save us from another civil war, Igbo leaders tells Buhari

By Levinus Nwabughiogu
Ahead of next week presidential election, Igbo Leaders in the 19 northern States yesterday declared support for the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, General Mohammadu Buhari, urging him to rescue the country from being run aground by President Goodluck Jonathan.

The Leaders who paid a courtesy visit to Buhari at his presidential campaign headquarters in Abuja noted that impunity and indiscipline had become a common phenomenon in today’s Nigeria.

Coming under the umbrella of Igbo Delegates Assembly, IDA, the group which was led by its President-General, Chief Sam Demian Enyama also had the Eze Udo, its traditional arm made up of the traditional rulers of Igbo communities both in the north and the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Abuja.

Speaking at the occasion, the presidential-General, Chief Eyama described Buhari as a man of impeccable character who is disciplined and result- oriented.

Dispelling religious sentiments against Buhari, Eyama urged Ndi Igbo nationwide to rally round Buhari and vote for him on March 28, saying that he would address most pressing needs of the regions in the country.

Speaking on behalf of Eze Udo, Eze Uche Egenti said that Nigerians especially the Igbo would not want to experience another civil war.

Observing that the country was heading to the brink of collapse under president Goodluck Jonathan, Egenti asked Buhari to come to its rescue.

He said “ We are here to support your aspiration to become the president of this country. We know that it is easier to work with you because of what you stand for. We are not ready to be plunged into another civil and we are pleading with you to help us organize Nigeria again. We want discipline to reign again.

“We want to plead with you to help galvanize Nigeria once more. Let discipline reign again in Nigeria. Let the polity be sensitized. A lot of people have complained that the issue about you is religion but we know you are not a religious bigot. You are a very firm articulate officer of the Nigerian army. In 1983 when Nigeria was at a verge of collapse, you came in and rescued it.

“We are here to affirm our support on the use of the permanent voters card, because it will bring credibility to the election. We are here to tell you that the Igbo’s are behind you.”

A notable Igbo leader and chieftain of APC, Chief Ogbonnaya Onu who also spoke at the event that attracted the presence of the party’s national chairman, Chief John Oyegun and other senior party officials said that the essence of the meeting was to reassure Buhari of the support of Igbo people.

According to him, the train of APC was in motion and could not continue without the input of the Igbo.

Onu also dismissed the insinuations that Buhari was a religious bigot whose interest was to Islamize the country if elected president.

Affirming Buhari’s forthrightness, Onu who was a former governor of Abia State stated that the APC presidential candidate has distinguished himself with his track record and offices so far held.

Meanwhile, in a manner seen by many as unseal, Buhari, while responding to the plea of the visiting Igbo leaders took time to explain what the meeting meant to him.

He also, perhaps for the first time, revealed why he joined politics and at such the opposition.

The former military Head of State who went memory lane revealed how the military government saved a fortune for the country only to be squandered by the ruling People’s Democratic Party.

Buhari who also preached peace and unity among the tribes in the country recalled how property and shops of the Igbo communities in the north were secured during the civil war, also dismissed the speculations that he was a religious bigot.

Below were his responses on most of the issues raised at the meeting:

How the meeting was brokered

“This meeting is an act of God because we had agreed on our programmes since but Chief Ogbonnaya Onu came to me and said that this meeting must take place. I tried to get out of it by going through the programmes with him and telling him that I have visited 35 states excluding Yobe and because of the additional unsolicited six weeks grace granted, another programme was drawn to conduct some town hall meetings.

I told him that, we were scheduled to go to Owerri and Onitisha to meet the Igbo leadership and business community. So, why not let us merge the two events? He said no, these are Igbos from the 19 Northern states and eventually, I gave up and said let it be done at the expense of our break.

I have no regrets holding this meeting because he educated me about this organization in the respective states which I was unaware of. He told me the details and I appreciate this organization because of your experiences especially when crisis happened in this country.

North/south relationship during the war

I could recall the good old days. When it was Christmas and new year, virtually, all businesses closed up in the north especially in Kano. Business would not resume until the Igbos return to their businesses. After the interruption of the civil war, I must admit that the elements of the first republic civil service were good because to the best of my knowledge, wherever Igbos had property in town, there were committees in the respective towns.

The properties were repaired, given for rent, an account opened for them. After the war, the Igbos came back and claimed their property and the savings made.. I thank the civil servants of those good old days because the committees were developed with very clear and firm terms of reference and the properties of the Igbos were looked after and they claimed them back. I think they did well. I think that I am the only Army officer to command three of the four Nigerian Army divisions. Again, from 2nd Lieutenant, all the Command and Staff appointments I don’t think I missed any.

My colleagues were Col. Ugokwe, GC. Ojukwu and they can bear testimony to that. On the political side, I became governor of the north east which is now six states and spent three and half years in Ministry of Petroleum, twenty months as Head of States and 40 months in detention eventually. I think I have seen quite a lot in Nigeria.

Why I joined politics

After going top and sliding down, why did I join politics? There were two reasons which I have mentioned on several occasions. I have to bore you with this because I don’t want you to slow down on whatever you are doing. Keep on trying, God will repay you one way or the other. I was sitting at home after I got out of detention and thought people would leave me alone. I didn’t even build a filling station, not to talk of owing an oil block and so I thought I had lost their sympathy.

But they kept coming to me and there was nothing I could do and then I speculated that maybe when I get into partisan politics, I would get into a position to be heard and then something happened in 1991 and the Soviet Union collapsed. They were the first to go into space and in terms of nuclear war heads and conventional forces, they were superior to NETO .

It just collapsed and people just went home and now, there are 18 Republics in the old Soviet Union. That was when I decided that the best form of governance is multi party democratic system with a big proviso that elections must be free and fair. Other wise, the whole thing will be a sham and it is in pursuit of that, that I am on my fourth attempt to get the highest office.

I am not a religious bigot

In the fist three attempts, I ended up at the Supreme Court because I believe in the system. There is no point believing in a system and conducting yourself haphazardly. I am telling you that I am fulfilled because when I decided to join politics in April 2002, I joined APP even though there was PDP and they were in government.

But I went into the opposition even though there were governors, senators, members of the House of Representatives in the party, but the following year, they gave me the ticket and what did I do with the ticket? I got the late Chuba Okadigbo to be my running mate and by that, I blew the mind of people about my tribal or religious position. In 2007, I picked Chief Ume Ezeoke and again, he was Igbo.

So, I dispel any question about my being a religious bigot or a tribalist. Later I picked Pastor Bakare and now, I am running with a Pastor, Prof. Osinbajo. The issue of religion has been taken into account in this country.

Why we insist on free and fair polls

I am very grateful to Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu for organizing this meeting. I am even more grateful that the leadership of the Igbo community in the north decided to turn up. It is important that we continue to make sure that we are broadminded. The beauty of this system is what I have mentioned already.

Let the government respect Nigerians and individuals and allow them to choose and elect those they want to lead them. If that is done, Nigerians will be surprised about how peaceful this country will be. I think that in every human being there is an element of rebellion. If you try to force a human being to do something he doesn’t like, he will develop a way of resisting it.

But if you develop a system and persuade him to accept the system, then, Justice must be done and you will be surprised how peaceful you will live. But if you try to force it, I am afraid that you will keep on suffering.

PDP has destroyed Nigeria

Look at what we have suffered in the last 16 years. Most of you are business people and always out there. Maybe you don’t even need computers because your head is just like a recorder. You import and know the exchange rate. Where were we 16 years ago when PDP took over this country and where are we now?

How much was the Naira to the Dollar then and how much is if now? Does it mean that you will not sell the things that you have in your shop now because people cannot afford them because the Naira is now about N230 to the dollar? I think that as a community, You are more affected in Nigeria than anyone else. You are the ones that go from Singapore to China and all over the world to make the contacts and order things.

You don’t order them in Naira, but in Dollar or Pounds Sterlings or Yen. Now, you need trailer load of Naira to maintain your businesses. Remember what we earned from 1999 till now. But then, where is the Nigeria Railways that we have been talking about? Where is the Nigeria Airways?

Where is the Nigeria Shipping line? Where are the roads and where is the money we earned? There are States now that haven’t paid salaries for months. Corrupt PDP governors cannot even pay salaries. I don’t think you can support this type of government anymore. It will be impossible because the worse has almost happened. If everybody is impoverished, what do we do? Do we eat grass?

Three things APC government must do

What we identified in APC are three fundamental things that are relevant. We hope, God willing, if we get into government, having campaigned on those three fundamental issues, we will deliver on those three fundamental issues so that you can physically see. I think that those who are really poor and live in the rural areas hardly have anything to lose, but you who criss-cross the world using your resources, when you are grounded, you feel it harder. It is a fact of life.

What are the three things we identified? First, security, then the death of the economy as a result of which there is mass unemployment and; third one is corruption.

Throughout my visit to 35 states, I mentioned these three things and nobody ever challenged me on them. We cannot continue like this because this is our country. No sentiment and nothing should make us change our mind. We just have to get rid of PDP and start building Nigeria again.

How military saved economy

In 1983, when we came in, we felt that change had to take place because I was involved in the military government that handed over to the second republic and as Minister of Petroleum, I was holding one of the most important appointments. The military handed over a relatively, materially and physically secured country to the second republic.

http://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/03/rescue-nigeria-save-us-from-another-civil-war-igbo-leaders-tells-buhari/

In four years, three months, if anybody told you that he knew how much debt Nigeria incurred after spending what the military left, he was telling you a lie because when we came, because of the debt Nigeria had incurred, we had to put in place two committees, one local and one foreign to help find out how we incurred the debt and how we were going to pay for it.

Together we will rescue Nigeria

So really, the question of patriotism is a very serious issue. The damage has been done. You are in a position under the system to make a difference and I am appealing to you to make sure that this difference is made. We are not doing anybody any favour. We are doing a favour to ourselves because we have no other country than Nigeria.

I am very happy with your kindness in coming to Abuja to see me and to support the APC. I assure you that you will not regret it. We are patriotic. Nigeria is our country. We have no other country, but Nigeria.Together, we will salvage it.”

Governor Rabiu Kwakwanso of Kano State was in Lagos last week for consultation with the Arewa community even as he used the opportunity to receive an award from the Global Excellence magazine. In an interview at the departure lounge of the Lagos airport, Kwakwanso said the smear campaign against his party’s presidential candidate, General Muhammadu Buhari, can only further help the APC in the coming elections, because, according to him, “There are some who have already made up their minds, no amount of smear campaign that would change the minds of Nigerians”.

You are coordinating three states in the North for your party, APC, regarding the March 28 election. What would you say are your party’s chances in these states?

The issue of change now has gone so deep and wide to the extent that no one man, no matter how influential, can change the tide. People are yearning for change at all levels, and, therefore, I have no doubt in my mind that, at least, the states that I know best, that is the northern states, I believe APC will capture them.

Including Jigawa where Lamido holds sway?

Yes, including Jigawa, Sokoto, Kebbi, Plateau, Nasarawa, all the states, 19 of them.

There is something perhaps you know that some of us don’t know which gives this kind of

confidence, what could this be?

We live with the people and we have seen the tide. I don’t know much about the South, but I know very much what is happening in the North. And, therefore, I am very confident that on the 28th of this month, Nigerians will come out en-masse, both South and North, to vote for change and that is APC. This is the change that is going on in this country.

Don’t you think, with the negative reports being churned out daily on your presidential candidate, there is the probability that the followership will be reducing?

You know the thing about this issue is that there are some people who have already made up their minds, no amount of smear campaign, that would change the minds of Nigerians. Therefore, I believe it is a matter of time that Nigerians would come to vote for APC at all levels including General Buhari who, I believe, is capable and competent enough to lead this country.

How true is the talk that Nigerians may be having a repeat Yar’ Adua/Jonathan scenario in the Buhari/Osinbajo ticket where a healthy vice would take over from a sickly President?

I believe those propounding such theory are not God. It is only God that gives life and takes it. I have not seen Buhari medical report or that of Jonathan. But on the surface, one would think Buhari is healthier than Jonathan. But what worries many people is that some leaders are making such negative statements against the North, even including the First Lady when she was talking of protecting children and throwing them away. I don’t think that is healthy, especially now that we are talking about a game of numbers because that is what politics is. That is why I believe that what they are saying from that end is actually helping the APC to win more votes especially in the North. I think all well-meaning Nigerians who believe we are one country will think the First Lady, as we call her, is speaking like the last lady.

She was quoted to have said that President Jonathan is constitutionally entitled to eight years and so they would have to finish the eight years.

I think she is right. The Constitution says eight years of two terms. Now, they have spent six years already there. They may claim they have just spent four years, they may even claim two years but I know they were not sworn on 29 May, 2011, but May 2010. But again, they can claim any number of years, but I think Nigerians know the truth. six years, I think, is enough for a good governor or President to perform. And by the 28th of this month, Nigerians will pass judgment as whether he has performed or not.

You said change is every where, and yet there are some defections here and there from the APC, and more importantly in Kano.

There will continue to be defections. Ghali Naaba and some others just defected from PDP to APC.

How does this make you feel?

You should tell me, after all, you raised the issue of defection. There are many things unknown to you, people are defecting every now and then, but it is only the popular ones defecting you know because they are being advertised. We are receiving them in thousands every day.

Notwithstanding the change your party seems to be championing, some people believe there is really no difference between your party and the PDP?

I think what Nigerians are saying is that this government has failed, let us try another one. Let us try another people that have not been tested. Let us test APC, and I am sure Nigerians will be impressed by the performance of the party.

Are you impressed by the successes recorded so far in tackling the insurgency?

I think it is all about political will which was not in place before. Now, I think there is the political will for whatever reason. Again, let us wait and see, because they are making progress and we are happy. They are supporting our military because it is key to the survival of our nation. I want to appeal to the service chiefs not allow themselves to be used by any political party. They should be neutral. They should fight for the country, not for any political party.

Until recently, you have not been known to be chastising people publicly, but you did to Governor Fayose. Why?

I was just expressing my mind. Governors should mind their words. Governors should be role models. Governors should respect the institutions, and, when somebody is not doing that, I think one should advise him, especially those of us who have been in the game much longer than him and those who conversant with traditions and cultures in this country, we always respect our elders, including the Yoruba. But for somebody, especially at that level, to come out to be making reckless statements about the North and somebody old enough to be his father, I don’t think that is good enough. That is why we have to advise him, it is just an advise. Even in any society, you have both the bad and good people, from all tribes, but that bad should come from a particular group especially those who are looking for food, those who are living on insults on others, but not from those who are elected, even though we have now seen, on tape, the kind of election we had in Ekiti State. Unfortunately, Ekiti State is one of the highly respected even in the South because of the level of education it has. I am sure they must be thoroughly embarrassed by such statements and definitely it will not help the PDP.

With the kind of social programmes like that of empowerment which has hundreds of thousands beneficiaries in the state, coupled with the different infrastructures going on there, one wonders you source for the funds such that it does not affect salaries?

On the issues of salaries, we had to plug all sorts of wastage, on the issue of over-head, we had to make a lot of savings such that the cost of running government was taken to the barest minimum, and, therefore, we have money to do other projects. I think with good management, government, even at the national level, should be able to replicate some of the projects we are doing . By the grace of God, our incoming government in Kano under our party, APC, will build on that. Nigerians, especially people from Kano, are in love with APC because they have seen our performance, because people have benefited across the state and they will continue to benefit.

Are you fulfilled as a politician?

I am very contented. I am happy. I served Kano State government as a civil servant for 16 years. I retired in 1991, joined politics. I was Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives. I was elected delegate of the Constitutional Conference 1994/95. I was governor 1999-2003. I was Minister of Defence for about four years. I was a representative of the North-west on the NNDC Board, and now, I am governor of Kano. And, I am contesting to become a senator so that we can give our own contributions in the National Assembly. I think I am a happy and contented person.

The aura of influence and affluence and even the paraphernalia of office is not reflected in your personality. People have access to you.

That is one of the ways of saving the tax payers money. That is one of the ways of meeting people. I am going to Kano on commercial flight. I use them (commercial flight) except they are not available, so, therefore, it gives me an opportunity at the airport like this to meet people who ordinarily I would not have met and vice versa, and that is one of the ways of getting quality information. People must try as much as possible to be humble. In any case, all those who are 100% using chartered flight, who are having their own aircraft as governors, lets us wait and see what happens in June.

Nobody changes a winning team, says PDP

on March 22, 2015 / in Elections 2015, News 12:40 pm / Comments
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) says the economic future of the nation is guaranteed under President Goodluck Jonathan citing his unprecedented performance in wealth creation as well as strategies already mapped out for continued economic and social growth in the country.

PDP National Publicity Secretary, Olisa Metuh in a statement, Sunday, said the multi-sectoral development approach adopted by the Jonathan administration resulted in a stronger economy, which not only withstood the shock of the global financial downturn that ravaged most nations of the world, but also created an exceptional enabling environment and support for investments and businesses to thrive in the country.

The party said that it is undisputable that investors and entrepreneurs in the country have fared better, more than ever before, in the last four years under President Goodluck Jonathan making the nation the largest economy in Africa and one of the fastest growing in the world, “a fact businessmen, even those in the opposition cannot contest”.

Stressing that “no body changes a winning team just for the sake of change”, the PDP said what the nation needs at the moment is “an uninterrupted flow of the transformation effort which can only be best handled by a President Goodluck Jonathan-led PDP administration, especially as the opposition has failed to articulate any workable alternative to Nigerians”.

“We restate that our nation has been blessed with the meticulous application of deliberate economic policies and programmes in the last four years under President Jonathan’s Transformation Agenda. Within this period, there has been a phenomenal growth of small and medium scale enterprises in addition to the revamping of the manufacturing sector with unprecedented volume of domestic and direct foreign investments empowering our people in all walks of life.

“The fact remains that in the last four years under Jonathan, more businesses have been opened in telecommunication, banking, oil and gas, transport, aviation, hospitality, automobile, education, agriculture, healthcare and manufacturing sectors with an unprecedented expansion rate, providing business and employment opportunities for millions of our citizens across the country”, the party said.

The observed that this was made possible by the application of a multi-sectoral development strategy of the Jonathan administration in the critical sectors and direct government empowerment interventions through programmes such as YouWin and SURE-P Graduate Internship Scheme among others.

“With the huge investment in power and road infrastructure, the return of the railways and inland waterways ferrying millions of passengers and tonnes of goods across the country; the repositioning of the aviation industry, the rapid expansion in the telecommunication sector; the unequalled investment in agriculture with food production exceeding the targeted 20 million metric tons in 2015; the revamping of the manufacturing sector with automobile companies such as Innoson Kia, Nissan and Hyundai setting up factories in Nigeria, in addition to the reopening of Peugeot and ANMACO, the future of Nigerian businesses is secure and ready to move to the next level of expansion under a Jonathan administration”, the statement said.

The party noted that the guarantee of a more prosperous future is strengthened by the Nagropreneurs Initiative of the Jonathan administration, the N220 billion Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Fund to empower graduates and other young people to own their own businesses, the National industrial Revolution Plan (NIRP), and the National Enterprise Development Programme (NEDEP) expected to generate no fewer than five million direct jobs before the end of 2015.”

The PDP pointed out that apart from employment generation, the revolution in these key sectors also guarantees technology transfer, reduction in costs and increase in investment opportunities.

The party said the next four years under Jonathan will see a maximum yield in the development efforts especially given the measures already put in place by the administration to plug loopholes, such as the introduction of the independent revenue e-collection scheme under the Treasury Single Account, an automated system for greater monitoring and control of spending in government ministries, departments and agencies across board.

It therefore urged Nigerians to remain steadfast and not relent in their support for the President but to fully demonstrate it by coming out enmasse to vote for him and other PDP candidates in the March 28 and April 11 elections.

Attah, Etiebet endorse APC candidate, dump Jonathan

By Our Reporter on March 22, 2015 COVER

Two members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Board of Trustees, former Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Chief Victor Attah and Atuekong Don Etiebet have declared for the All Progressives Congress in Akwa Ibom State.

The duo made the switch, which is interpreted to mean dumping President Goodluck Jonathan who is the presidential candidate of the PDP, during a rally held by the Campaign Organization of the APC Governorship

Candidate, Obong Umana Okon Umana at the Ibibio Park grounds in Uyo yesterday.

At the APC rally, Obong Attah and Etiebet respectively, raised the hands of Obong Umana and stated that, they were no longer interested in the PDP having found an alternative in the opposition party.

The defection of the PDP chieftains did not come as a surprise to observers, as both men had been associating with the opposition in the buildup to the General Elections, following their grudge over the defeat of their preferred governorship aspirants by the PDP Standard Bearer, Udom Gabriel Emmanuel at the December 8, 2014 primaries. Commenting on the development, a public affairs analyst, Mr Ifiok Anderson, dismissed the move as another futile journey to nowhere. Anderson re-called that earlier in 2011, Obong Attah had similarly raised the hands of the then governorship candidate of the opposition, Action Congress of Nigeria, now

defunct, Senator John Akpan Udoedehe, but that did not change the fortunes of the latter, as he was defeated by the incumbent, Governor Akpabio.

The analyst argued that Attah had allowed his morbid hatred for his successor to blind him, even

in joining forces with his erstwhile, Commissioner of Finance, Obong Umana

Okon Umana who betrayed him. He however, added that the people of Akwa Ibom would make their choice on who should govern them

NO fewer than 1.8 million members of the National Association of Sabbatarian Youths have adopted President Goodluck Jonathan as their candidate for the March 28, 2015 presidential election. Rising from their meeting in Awka, the executive members of the association said their decision to adopt the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, candidate, was informed by their belief that his programmes would favour the Nigerian youths, going by what his administration has done so far.
A communiqué signed by the national president of the association, Mr. Kelechi Udezeh, the national secretary, Mr. Clement Orjiobasi and the public relations officer, Mr. James Opia, listed Jonathan’s achievements that favour the youths to include SURE –P, empowering youths through the churches, resistance to terrorism, elevation of the country’s democracy to the level of observance of the rule of law, improving quality of education through the establishment of several federal universities in all the geo-political zones of the country and establishment of Almajari schools in many parts of the North.
The group said: “Our president is a role model and youths learn from him. Though members of the opposition have been having a field day in criticizing him, the president has not manifested any form of retaliation. “Having evaluated the political situation in the country, the youths of all Christians worshiping on Saturdays have decided to support his reelection bid. Already, we have printed and distributed over 20,000 pieces of well articulated stickers as part of our campaign programme.” The association urged the president to continue to give the youths positions of importance in the next dispensation, assuring that they would not disappoint. - See more at: http://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/03/1-8m-sabbatarian-youths-adopt-jonathan/#sthash.xYNB92HI.dpuf

talking about election now but if he will be going to jail or not.

So he even filled All progressive congress party APCP instead of all
progressive congress APC? Pathetic.

@banicansta, don't let me see your nonsense comment on this thread, I
remember you defended Buhari on this when you where still striking
keyboard for APC that Buhari never filled the form himself. Please keep
your nonsense opinion to yourself or better still get a notebook write
it down and keep reading it to yourself.

@topic I wonder how all of this mistake was made on a single form by a

xrisdon:
guy stop lying!

first, S/west states are not states with highest voters!

secondly, S/west didn't vote for Gej in 2011 presidential election.

check this out ...
2011 presidential election result by zones:

Jonathan
Buhari
GEO-POLITICAL SUMMARIES
SOUTH-WEST
2,786,417,
6091,369,

SOUTH-EAST
4,985,246,
33,657

SOUTH-SOUTH
6,118,608,
978144,

TOTAL RESULT:
Gej = 22, 495,187
Gmb= 12, 214, 853

NB the total number of votes in s/west = 4,613,712

now lets assume the whole s/west (which have significant number of non yoruba voters) voted for Gmb,
now subtract 4,613,712 s/w votes from Gej's 22,495,187 votes and add it to Gmb's 12,214,853
Gej will still win the election!

Now why the noisehuh
the point is that sw is irrelevant in the re-election of Gej!
so if you don't vote for him he will still win!
your mathematics get correct k-leg

2011 elections in those states returned about 3.4 million for Jonathan and 6.5 million for Buhari. You must understand that their are substantial numbers of marginalized Ethnic minorities and many Christians in these states with issues against the hausa fulani overlords. It will alway reflect in all election particularly this one which will give Jonathan decent numbers. All politics are local.
2015 is quite different.

9million plus votes is very likely.

You no get sense, the whole of SE is just a little above Kano, with all the noise coming from that part of Nigeria, there is little they can do to guaranteed him victory, PEJ has sealed his fate in Northen Nigeria.
He now turned his attention to SW, and so far, the prognosis is not encouraging.
Quote me after the election, GEJ won't be President of Nigeria again.
they will soon begin to run the adverts of her speech in the north.....................
