If Ibo had not supported Obj, the next option is still Yoruba.. so why making it look like you had alternatives!!

We will support Ibo too when there are no alternative!
TechW:
Is obj an Hausa man,? you presented two, and Igbo supported the one that had experience with executive powers. Atleast support an Igbo candidate for once because Igbo voted for obj instead of ojukwu

Ibo didn't support Yoruba, in fact they went against the popular candidate of Yoruba.. the electioon was between 2 Yoruba candidates .. if they didnt support Obasanjo, the other candidate will still be Yoruba, so stop twisting events!
moscow007:
Thank God someone said it
If you've been following comments and opinions on here on Nairaland Urchins have been firing from all cylinders against the whole Igbo tribe, it's no longer an Obi thing.
All the comments from Obedients has been against Tinubu (and a few others against Yoruba Muslims), believe me when I tell you this...alot of Igbo people against Tinubu is because of these pay per click Urchins he hired, their hate against the Igbo Nation is out of this world (especially @leoking formally @ simpleleo the fraudster) Me..I'm Delta Igbo and I will vote for Osibanjo twice before considering Obi.

It has nothing to do with tribe but everything to do with competence.

Osibanjo was the first to propose modular refineries which would've ended fuel scarcity and subsidy, if the powers that be had allowed him implement it. (As at date no candidate is taking about modular refineries). All the boys u are seeing in the creeks refining Kerosene will obtain licence and own their own modular refineries to produce what we use under global best practices and standards and pay taxes to Govt.

Secondly he nearly redefined Nigeria monetary policy and international business policy by proposing the Naira-Yuan(RMB) swap via Union pay...over 90% of Nigeria's Dollars needs is for imports from China. Why on earth do we need to change naira to dollar before changing it to RMB before we can get goods from China.
That Osibanjo's Naira-Yuan policy would've taken care of all our FX needs, but once again the power brokers and cartel from CBN that have been running Dollars organised crime visited Buhari with US emissary and that policy died.

My brother if Osibanjo had moved to another party like Obi did... my political group and tonnes of other Igbo groups will take it personal to make sure he wins, even with Obi on d ballot. We know Osibanjo and wat he stands for...wat does Tinubu stand for?

MrEverest:
Honestly, I find it ridiculous that some people actually expect Hausas and Fulanis of NW and NE to vote for Tinubu. Like seriously? You really must be myopic to expect them to vote for a sick, old and extremely corrupt Tinubu when they have better candidates in the persons of Kwankwaso and Atikuhuh!!!!

Except you take them for fools, which I know they're not, they possibly can't vote for Tinubu. The only two states Tinubu has a fighting chance in the North are Borno and Yobe because they're mostly Kanuri and would want to vote for Shettima. The rest would be split by Kwankwaso and Atiku.

Those supporting Tinubu are putting too much faith on APC governors and their so-called structure but forgetting that the era of governors conniving with INEC officers to rewrite results are gone.

To my Yoruba Muslim brothers and friends counting on Hausas and Fulanis to vote for Tinubu, let me ask you this question:

Will you guys vote for people like IBB, Sani Abacha or even Atiku when you have your brothers like Osinbajo or Fashola contesting in the same election?

Please let's all be sincere and tell ourselves the truth. No reasonable Hausa or Fulani man will vote for Tinubu in this election. Even their politicians in APC will end up voting for Kwankwaso or Atiku. Forget about their rhetorics, they just want to cash out from Tinubu.

The problem with that statement is how the Igbo have come to see a 100% funded Federal project that serves to connect the SE to other parts of Nigeria as their exclusive property.

Delta state has more stake in that project as oil revenue used in building that bridge was sourced in part from it.

But for some reason the heebo now see it as theirs and demanded that the bridge be named after a literal bridge burner who blew up the first Niger Bridge

One idiot here even suggested that the federal territory by rotated among zones with Enugu to serve as replacement for Abuja.

They want to sit down somewhere and have all the resources and infrastructure cornered to their yeast. This is exactly how Enugu was built to the total neglect of other provinces in the parasitic eastern region.

Before there was ever any thought of an Abuja, the heebo were doing same in Enugu by diverting all resources to Enugu and other Igbo provinces to the total neglect of non Igbo provinces.

They complain of Buhari's stinking nepotism but they shamelessly promoted same in the old eastern region by ensuring even a lowly clerk position in places like Calabar was occupied by an Igbo to the total marginalization of the so-called minorities.

The rubbish of Aburi were they demanded a return to the status quo, they will lie was to return Nigeria back to regional adminstration even though Ojukwu was the only MILAD to wholeheartedly welcome Ironsi's Decree 34. What they fail to tell you was that it wasn't a return to regionalism that ojukwu and his fellow Afro Zikists demanded but rather a reversal of the creation of two states (old Rivers and old Cross River) out of the blighted old yeast.

It is important to point out the half truths and fallacies of the Igbo in their ongoing revisionism over what led to the war. The crux was the Igbo demand at Aburi to have the already Igbo weary so-called minorities yoked back with the parasitic Heebo.

The same minorities , I must add, that were fighting to have their own separate region to which they had succeeded until this very day 56ys back the Igbo coup happened towards truncating the federal Parliament from creating the Calabar Ogoja Rivers region that is comprised of present day, Rivers, Bayelsa, Akwa Ibom and Cross River.

The heebo staged a coup to prevent the federal Parliament from granting the so-called minorities of the old eastern region their own separate region. Decree 34 was rolled out to put an end to regional governance in place of a centrist Igbo dictatorship. What arrogance!.

When they were kicked out and Gowon created states, they then demanded for the same Igbo weary minorities to be yoked back to them. When this failed they then dragged the same minorities back into their God forsaking Biafra.

Now tell me, are these people victims as they claim or just plain parasitic land grabbers.

This is what Peter Obi is running on preserving the Zikist central govt and why all the Igbos are backing him.

Use brain.

Obi and his obidient mob are an Igbo project towards preserving the parasitic system and to return the Igbo back to the centre.

It has nothing of benefit to Nigeria and Nigerians but is purely an Igbo Marxist and tribal agenda.

Wow you are very smart and knowledgeable with history!

I have learnt a lot.. every tribe dey avoid nyamiri flat.head Osu!
APCHaram:
They had no say in Western Cameroon leaving Nigeria all together just to avoid being under Igbo domination and marginalization.

Western Cameroon got a plebescite from the British colonial govt in 1959. If they had remained until independence , the Igbo won't have granted them such in the Igbo dominated eastern Parliament in Enugu.

Do you know that Benue and parts of Taraba were once under Southern Protectorate but when they found out that the British wanted to create two regions (East and West) and found out they will fall into Eastern region , they petitioned to be lumped with the north instead of being with Igbos.

Why was the old eastern region such a contentious zone with nationalities wanting to leave it unlike what transpired in the highly diverse north?

The answers to this was the heebo who saw the colonial drawn map of eastern Nigeria as his territory to dominate and exploit.

The same idiots who complain of Lord Lugard almagation of northern and southern protectorate are the same bastards using the lumped borders of the old eastern region to define their Igbo empire.

What their cannibal loin cloth wearing savage ancestors could not dream of , they wanted to achieve using the British colonialists completed job.

Now compare the creation of mid-west region and how the majority Yoruba house in Ibadan did not oppose or shot down any motion for a call to referendum but instead a Yoruba man moved the motion both in Ibadan and in the federal Parliament in Lagos. Was this the case in Enugu? The minorities were frustrated in their attempts to leave the Igbo dominated eastern region by igbo Speaker and MPs who opposed and overruled every motion set before the house and so they took their plight to the national level and secured the support of the Sarduna, the Yorubas and that of their brothers in the new Midwest region.

It was only a matter of time before the federal Parliament will reconvene from its Christmas break to address the referendum demand.

This is why today being the anniversary of the Igbo coup, the igbos killed all the leaders of the north, west and mid west and abolished our democracy and regional assembly to prevent the federal parliament from granting the minorities their wish to leave the blighted yeast.

This is the truth and nothing but the truth

No matter my explanation, I don't expect u to understand. Politics in the north defers from SE, that's why your kinsmen keep saying "can notherners leave their own and vote a southern"

Whoever, when results starts trooping from the north. You will know elections is not straightforward, bookmark this comment!

Kwankwasso and Atiku didn't get 25% in 2019!

Your case is like a white man on Twitter, polls, SM etc asking who will Nigerians vote for.. base on the feedback and results, he will likely conclude PO will win by over 80% margin

Penguin2:
I was in Kano and I can tell you authoritatively that Kwankwaso is winning Kano, with Atiku likely coming second.

This is not emotions but reality on ground.

And every vote Kwankwaso gets in Northwest is minus one for Tinubu.
