Sanchez01: Involving the police might have something to do with the fact Osinbajo is a lawyer and understands the law. The cheap blackmail, if not fought, could degenerate into verbal attacks and Kwam One, Tinubu's mockingbird might just sing with it. Nipping it in the bud is necessary. Verbal attacks are not against the law. If I say someone is a betrayer, I didn't do anything wrong in law. If person insult you, insult am back. Using police against someone who insulted you is just showing unnecessary political power. It's a stupid move |

Igbofam: TWITTING is very correct. Stop assuming he meant TWEETING simply because both words sound the same.
Contextually the term TWITTING ON WHATSAPP is very correct "Do you know how many of you, tweeting on WhatsApp right now?". This was his exact speech. Are you saying he meant "taunting on WhatsApp "? If yes, taunting who? Tinubu don cast already, don't cast with him please |

Indispensable85: The whole idea behind the word tweet is to be heard or reach out. Either by sound or a written short message. Don't forget the word tweet was already extant before the app twitter came into existence.
By the way you just disgraced your family name by the rubbish you wrote. In your stupidity you said twit means reproach, blame. How do you connect that to a messaging app? Mumu.....tweet is a word that existed on it's own even before twitter was birthed. Ozu... Already what? |
Politics › Re: The Moment Tinubu Said 'Tweeting On WhatsApp' (Video) by ityP(m): 11:20am On Apr 21, 2022 |
Naughtysex: First, you need to understand the meaning of the word "twit" before knowing how to use the word "twitter"
Saying "some of you are twitting on whatsapp right now" is just like saying "some of you are blaming or taunting on whatsapp right now" blame who? what? or about what? With the message he (Tinubu) was trying to pass when giving that speech, he goof
Don't look more stupid than your principal.
In dictionary, twit means "reproach, blame, upbraid, taunt or fling at"
I CUM in peace Tinubu's urchins, like Tinubu himself are bunch of illiterates . Any certificate dey have was bought |

You need to apologize to the person you said was wrong
TWITTING is a very correct grammatical expression as used by Tinubu.
One can TWIT via any means. In fact you and I are TWITTING via Nairaland right now.

Rooomage: No matter the word used. Lifelong ambition or personal dream whichever word used I still don't see anything wrong. I can have or anybody can have a personal dream or lifelong ambition to be the President of Nigeria. The question to be asked is: Is he or she qualified? Does he have the capacity? Does the person have verifiable experience? Then what are the things he wants to do for us (manifesto)?
Issue based questions should be what we should be asking and not bickering about trivial things. You can be qualified but spoil your chances with careless utterances. |
Politics › Re: Ndi Buhari Anointing, How Far? by ityP(m): 10:42am On Apr 21, 2022 |
candidtalk: See you're not bright at all? Buhari has a reputation for being "politically aloof" when not in political office. I am not talking when he is President and using the office dictatorially in trying to get what he wants.
Anyone can do that OBJ did and even GEJ, regarded as weak, did too. I am talking the political aloofness and behaviour of Buhari out of office every Nigerian politician is well aware of.
Using the SW as an example, OBJ and Tinubu both left office in 2007. Who remains far more relevant today and far more influential, directly and indirectly, in the political and administrative fortunes of many?
Those who do Buhari's bidding now, considering such may be detrimental to their own political interests, will know he will not be interested in them, their plight or their needs when he is no longer President next year. Same as OBj and GEJ.
Whereas Tinubu has an unimpeachable reputation of being hands-on and engaged on behalf of others at all time. Even when he holds no office, Tinubu is always building, mentoring and financing the administrative and political career of many.
Tinubu is always offering help to the persecuted, the disenfranchised, the outcasts and those others haunt. This is something his fellow politician know about him you are ignorant of.
Politicians too have favorite bosses and Party leaders. We are at the stage it is about politicians and not the general public. This is a crucial point lost on many of you.
We will see who APC politicians will choose to support between someone asking them to commit suicide, and will no longer 'send dem' after May 2023 or the man they know has always been and will always be in the trenches with them aiding and safeguarding their interests.
All my talk will be irrelevant if Buhari is allowed to use consensus fiat to name his successor.
If APC delegates will be voting, in any form, then all I say is valid. They will vote for Tinubu because they know he is the proven and much safer bet for safeguarding their political interests. Tinubu was so influential in Naija politics but Ribadu, who contested under his party couldn't get up to 2 million votes, though being a northerner himself. But the "politically aloof" Buhari have steadily been getting over 10 million votes in presidential elections, since he started in 2003. Lagos, the home of the Yoruba god in the presidential elections of 2015 and 2019 was still seen dragging votes with PDP. Go to states like Yobe and see correct flawless victory. When I say you people are politically naive, una go dey argue. June 1st go shut people mouth up |

I've been on channels since. Oga, APC have not decided on the mode of primaries yet. If they have, they would have posted it on their official Twitter platform as they did about price of forms and dates of election. All these ones Na guess work. Rooomage: What is wrong in having a lifelong ambition? Is it an accidental President you want? You guys just read negative meanings to whatever the man says.
For example, for me, it is my lifelong ambition to be a Chattered Accountant which I have fulfilled. Is there anything wrong in that? Another example, it was a lifelong ambition of Bill Clinton to be the President of the US. He had this ambition when he was a boy and he achieved it in 1993. There's what we call "politically language". There's nothing wrong in having such ambitions. Heck, most of these our leaders have same ambitions. Coming out to voice it when you're seeking votes is foolish. You give off the impression that you are not coming to serve the populace but to actualise a personal dream. The future of 200 million Nigerians is too big a prize for the actualisation of one's wishes and dreams |

Was Tinubu even called to the NEC meeting of yesterday?
Zombies said his boys are there, was he using his boys when he was forming the party, he and Buhari?
Now they don't call him for meeting they don't call Akande for meeting, lol
APC NEC have now submitted all their powers to the NWC meaning apart from omisore, the youth leader, and the south west zonal head tilumbu interest is completely cut off from any decision making by them Adamu and the rest loyal to him Tinubu has never been party of NEC meeting o. He is a party leader but not part of APC NEC. He has never been present in any NEC meeting. Try to correct that |
Politics › Re: Ndi Buhari Anointing, How Far? by ityP(m): 9:43am On Apr 21, 2022 |
candidtalk: Continuously denying you're IPOBian only confirms yours guilty conscience. Like I have told you repeatedly, Buhari is outgoing. Though an iconically popular and well-respected politician in the North, PMB was always viewed a politician with poor nous per winning elections.
He has now enhanced that reputation further showing he is a poor political Party leader with examples such as the way he was blindsided by Saraki and PDP Ekeweremadu to lose the chance for APC to gain the Senate Presidency of their choice in 2015 even though he was President and his Party had the majority in the upper legislative house.
Let us see, with many expecting overwhelming electoral loss as the consequences, if APC stakeholders will fold their hands and let Buhari impose his candidate on the Party when the politically aloof PMB is outgoing and will be waving goodbye to politics for good next year.
In short let us see how many will willingly do "abobaku" for Buhari, I.e agree to be buried with the dead king, when they have permanent political interests that will be destroyed indulging the wishes of a President leaving office May 2023. Lmao. Ok, I be IPOB, ok now? . Dude talk say Buhari is "politically aloof"... Omo. Nothing I no go hear for Nairaland. My problem with you people, you'd change moniker after June 1st.
