They expect repayment in APC presidential Ticket, not knowing he has been paid in kind already.... I like Tinubu and I have always been a supporter, but I can't back him, not when PYO is in the ring.
"I am going to fight dirty" imagine a president making such a statement.
I hate desperate people, one among the reasons I never supported Atiku, BAT has shown how desperate he is.
Also, "It is my lifelong ambition to be President"... Who says stuffs like this and expects people to vote him? You never win elections by being overconfident. You play the role of a servant and that's what gets you votes

grin Fulani dey play this people

Remember when it was leaked that buni was hiding a court injunction against APC from conducting the convention?

Ask yourself why, the guy used that negativity as a shield to prevent himself from holding the convention till he was ready

Infact I believe Na him send a proxy to go fill that case against APC and hid it from APC.

Na the same thing dey happen here, Adamu have delibrately omitted the important appeal committee for the primaries

Urchins are saying Na indirect primaries, but indirect no be for general delegates, many would be disenfranchised, they would use certain criteria to choose certain people

Some aspirants won't be ok with it, the appeal committee that suppose to settle the issue doesn't exist, when they go to court Na straight invalidation of the excersise

Buhari would bring out this pitfall at the end of the day which was delibrately inserted

Dem go even credit the mistake to Adamu and start scolding him like they did buni (but they are one)

Las Las that same game they played Tinubu would surface where they said they were swapping south south with north central for position (for the consesus)
Their naivety is alarming. My simple question to them is, do they think Buhari will go through all the lengths he went through to impose Adamu, against their wishes, only for him not to be the main deciding factor in who succeeds him? I mean, Oshiomhole was Tinubu's sure ticket to the presidency. His removal should have told them something. They amaze me

Nairaland to me is like been at the newspaper stand under the bridge at computer village ikeja. There you find people so vast, so intelligent than they appear. It's always interesting listening to those guys. One thing I miss about Lagos.

Regardless, tribal war is not good, it is demoralizing but on NL I have come to understand that no tribe is actually the overall best, from here I have come to learn that the more you know about your people the better. It was on Nairaland I read about Benue people, I think Tiv and Ndoma and after about three days traveling from Lagos to Benue I saw how different we are as Nigerians and how beautiful we could all be if we learn to appreciate our similarities.

On traveling that route you will hardly find an Igbo or Delta restaurant but lots of Yoruba restaurant. Shey if I nor eat I go die? I had to eat from those Yoruba food joint and of course came to love them because of not just the food but their hospitality and knowing I am Deltan they tend to be more happy with me calling me Omo Ibo up and down. This is the beauty I am talking about, I read comment and learn people's tribe when they are fighting on Nairaland. There is hardly any tribe that has not been elevated or rubbished on NL. To me I found those sections very entertaining and educative.

Thanks bro

Mumu. You're clearly an unsophisticated charlatan and very 'limited' IPOBian if it is the bit in bold that appeals to you most out of the entire post.

You say they are doing this and that to Tinubu without understanding that intelligent and successful gladiators pick their battles.

Removing Oshiomhole from office only handed an undeserved victory to PDP. It only made Buhari look a destructive Party leader not concerned about others or even the fortunes of the APC. He lost the Senate to the PDP in his first time due to same lack of requisite interest in what matters.

The loss of Edo and it's bigger implications for 2023 would not have been lost on APC stakeholders who will know they must fight and not let Buhari repeat same , via lumbering them with a bad candidate, when handing over the control of the entire Nigeria over to the PDP is what is at stake this time.

Also I explained clearly why Tinubu would not feel it needed or expedient to fight Buhari over his choice of Chairmen and, subsequently, the use of consensus to deliver the wishes of Mr.President.

As has been repeated to you umpteen times, who becomes the Presidential flag bearer of the APC is an entirely different ball game. This is the main battle Tinubu has been preparing for so we will see how it goes.
I be IPOB, but IPOB still dey collect from my hands grin. Go back to the timetable of the primaries. All other positions can have an appeal; presidency, no appeal grin. I don't know what that tells you, but eye go clear una soon grin grin grin

Meanwhile, Seun and Lalasticlala make una look into your new moderators when it comes to pushing threads on front pages, most times, a particular post appears twice on front page by different posters
Twitter that forever respects Nairaland? It trended yesterday. Everyone admitted on twitter yesterday that the gbas gbos here is incomparable to other social media sites. Facebook people are no longer relevant. The childishness makes that site an eye sore. Twitter no carry people for Facebook as anything. Worse is Instagram. That is where we have the YES SIRS and YES MAS. They agree to everything. No one has a mind of their own there. Celebs love it there.

see the fact that there is no appeal date means they can't conduct any primaries

Aggrieved aspirant can take apc to court to invalidate the election on so many ground, firstly you know indirect is never straightforward like direct for all delegates (indirect they give certain chosen people the privilege to vote, the question is who gives this privilege and disenfranchise others) and over all no appeal committee to address the objections some would be having

So it's a very good recipe for a court to invalidate that "election"

You see that three days buhari is planning the "special convention" na that time he go tell them gentlemen we made a mistake, no appeal committee like we did for gov,sen

Please make we do consesus it's the only way to meet the deadline and sign to one document to avoid the appeal committee pitfall
Omo. I'm actually getting the full gist now. You make very interesting and salient points tbh. The abracadabra has been cooked already from all indications. We wait grin

Their jubilation will be cut short in the coming weeks when PMB, PGF will take position.
Tinubu is aged, he doesn't have the physical and mental capacity to lead Nigeria now
Buhari who complained about his failing health promised to hand over to a younger Nigerian.
With Tinubu as APC flag bearer APC is headed to electoral defeat since Tinubu is not widely among the electorates all over Nigeria
The issue of his running mate comes up as well.
In indirect primaries Tinubu will be trounced by whoever PGF will prop up, his contacts
and influence alone will not give him the ticket. The delegates are controlled by governors and will follow their governors in due course no matter the inducement.
They may be barred from assessing money bags their governors don't want.
PMB's influence on northern governors will certainly come to bear, he is most likely to lead the direction and the governors will follow him in solidarity
It will not be easy but any one with the backing of PMB have advantage and I don't like Tinubu have his backing for now, lately Tinubu has been taking swipes at PMB.
A whole lot of factors and forces are against his aspiration
National politics is different from state politics, your allies can realign at any time. Interest supercedes friendship and loyalty.
Many didn't believe an Osibanjo will run against his benefactor. That's the way the cookies crumble in politics
Beautiful analysis. I like that statement: "National politics is different from state politics, you allies can realign at any time". Tinubu urchins will understand better in June 1st.

Point 2: we all know telling lies is your favourite hubby and nobody takes you irrelevant political nuisance seriously, it's not like your 5% support have ever achieved anything..

I mean President you haven't produced in 60, no Vice in 40 years , no Speaker in 40 years, no Senate in 15 years and even when Obasanjo gave you senate 3 of your Ibo people almost killed each other staging the seat,

Do you see why you kind don't worth anyone's time?! It's not like you can produce any principal officer in this lifetime anyways
