Health / Re: 14 Signs You Might Be Pregnant, You Should Never Ignore #6. by Itzogunsakin(m): 7:04pm On Jul 14, 2020
Let’s digress a little bit from the topic and do this.

What are the features of first-week pregnancy symptoms? Before I delve in, you must have engaged in sexual intercourse with a man. Medically, the best approach is to visit a doctor for a proper pregnancy test.

During your menstrual period, the uterine lining sheds in addition to the unfertilized egg in the previous cycle. After three to seven days of your menstruation, your ovaries start to set up the egg that will be released during ovulation, and the lining of your uterus starts to thicken to receive the egg once it becomes fertilized.

If this goes well, you should conceive around the third week.
Don’t attribute any symptom you feel during this first week to pregnancy just yet. This first-week’s discomforts are brought to you by menstruation.

Your Common Symptoms During The First Week
You may feel like you are on your period. Some women have no many menstrual symptoms at all, but for many others, fluctuating hormones can lead to typical issues like:
1. Bloating
2. Cramps
3. Fatigue
4. Breast tenderness
5. Headache
6. Food cravings
7. Moodiness

Now is the time to make a hospitable and health-promoting environment possible for your baby-to-be. If you already eat well and lead an active lifestyle, that that's excellent.

What to do Immediately you Detect These Signs

Improve Your Diet
A healthy, balanced diet enriches your body with all vitamins, minerals, and nutrients that you need as you're expecting your baby. Proper nutrition gives you energy and helps to keep some of the frequent pregnancy discomforts at bay.

A healthy diet also improves the health of your pregnancy and affects the long-term wellbeing of your prospective child.

Stay More Healthy
It is not all about what you add to your tasks; it' also sits about what you remove. When trying to conceive, it is more important than ever to avoid alcohol, drugs, and tobacco products, including e-cigarettes.7
Healthy habits can affect a baby and lead to genetic disorders, respiratory problems, low birth weight, fetal alcohol syndrome, and other wellness problems.

Be Mentally Set
Getting ready to take a child includes body and mind. Hormone changes, anxiety, and anxiety affect your mental health and impacts pregnancy.
However, considering your needs and caring for your mental wellbeing before you conceive can help as you are anticipating and when you give birth.
Ensure you're getting sufficient rest; identifying your environment; managing stress and nervousness, and talking to a mental health provider for those who have other mental health issues.

Advice for Partners
Pregnancy is between spouses, and that means both parties. Before conceiving, partners need screening and treatments for any possible sexually transmitted infections (STIs).

Couples should stay away from alcohol. Studies indicate that men who drink too smoke, or use drugs can experience problems with their sperm, making conception more difficult.10

Meanwhile, talk about how you both consider pregnancy and your expectations. Starting pregnancy together with healthy conversations can help you maintain excellent communication skills and a secure link as you proceed through this journey and successfully transition to parenthood collectively.

Take Folate (Vitamin B9)
Folate is the natural form of vitamin B9 present in foods. It is essential for your wellbeing and the wellbeing and growth of a growing baby during pregnancy. However, it is not always easy to get all the folates you need every day through the foods you eat.

Folic acid is the synthetic supplement form of folate found In many prenatal vitamin products. Still, you can also locate supplements together with active forms of folate (frequently tagged as L-methyl folate or 5-MTHF).

Taking a folic acid supplement will protect you from congenital disabilities, including cleft lip and palate, and neural tube defects.
Allison Hill, MD, OB/GYN once mentioned that: "Taking in the correct amount [of folic acid] before pregnancy and during the first trimester decreases the likelihood of congenital disabilities by 75%."

Be Conscious of Your Doctor's Office
If you do not have a physician or midwife yet, you will need to put that on top of your to-do list. And, if you have a healthcare supplier, but have not had a preconception appointment, then now'snow's the time to create one.

What Experts Say: "Think of your preconception visit as a chance for you and your healthcare provider to control the things which you could control in pregnancy. This visit can increase your chances of having a healthy baby."

Throughout a pre-pregnancy trip, your doctor or midwife may recommend a prenatal vitamin review your medical and vaccine history, display you for sexually transmitted infections, and provide you with a physical examination.

It's also an opportunity to recognize lifestyle, nutrition, exercise, and other personal habits that may impact your pregnancy.

Our Recommendation
When you have a health condition like high blood pressure or diabetes, make sure you speak to your physician and do all you can to keep it under control.

It would help if you also asked the physician about the security of any Medications, over-the-counter drugs, or herbal supplements you're taking.

When you follow your physician's recommendation and following up with all your healthcare, providers you will know you are doing everything you can to have the healthiest pregnancy possible.

Week 1 is the perfect time to consider starting prenatal Vitamins in case you have none already.
Prenatal vitamins can't replace proper nutrition. However, they can fill in the gaps of a less-than-perfect diet. They are also a great way to feel assured that you're getting all of the nutrients you want, even if you have healthy eating habits.

Prenatal vitamins typically contain iron, calcium, vitamin D, and other essential nutrients like folic acid. However, each brand can contain different vitamins and minerals, so read the labels carefully or ask your physician for a recommendation or prescription.14
The Very Best Prenatal Vitamins, According to a Dietitian.

Bottom Line
A healthy pregnancy starts even before you become pregnant. So, while you're expecting the journey, you and your spouse can work on getting and staying healthy jointly.

As you look forward, week 2 is the secret to the rest of your pregnancy, as it attracts the opportunity to conceive. Women with regular menstrual cycle revolve around 10 to 20 days following the first day of the period.
Thus, write the date down that your period started and pay attention to your body's fertility signals.

Are there any symptoms that you may experience as soon as a couple of days past ovulation (DPO)?

Many women recognise changes in their bodies a couple of weeks after ovulation. There are classic symptoms of tiredness, grumpiness, and stomach cramps. After then comes the bleeding because your period begins, or maybe not, as the case might be.

Coffee and tea no longer appealed to my wife again when she had a similar experience. She developed an addiction to fruit. Forget your apples, oranges and bananas, only strawberries, raspberries, Satsuma oranges, and grapes would do.

But were there any symptoms that my wife really could have picked upon in the very early times?
Let's take a look at DPO symptoms in the first 14 days.

Fundamentals of the Menstrual Cycle

Before we detail the DPO symptoms you Might experience, it is going to help if you understand the stages of your menstrual cycle. That is what prepares our bodies for pregnancy each month.

1. Stage One

The first phase of your cycle is the follicular stage. This begins with the beginning of the interval and finishes when you ovulate. It covers about days you to 13 of your cycle.

Your period will generally last between four and seven times. What is happening here is that the entire body is shedding the uterine lining, which had ready itself for encouraging a fertilised egg. If you happen to be pregnant, the thick uterine lining stays.

The hormones which control these They begin to rise gradually.
The follicular phase, and begins once your period finishes. This follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) informs about 15--20 of our eggs to prepare themselves for discharge.

The follicles which contain the maturing Eggs discharge estrogen, signalling the lining of the uterus to thicken.

The higher estrogen levels trigger the Pituitary gland to release another hormone, the luteinising hormone (LH). If you have ever used an ovulation kit, then this is the hormone that it finds out.
When the follicles detect this hormone Surge, it's blast-off time. Eggs are released from the follicle. While it's generally one, it could be several. So beware, it could be twins or triplets, or more.

2. Stage Two

This is now the start of ovulation. Testosterone and estrogen levels grow, and cervical mucus extends from thick, sticky, and yellow, to clear, watery, thin, and more pliable.
Essentially, the mucus becomes sperm Friendly, allowing those little swimmers to enter the uterus and find an egg.

Ovulation occurs around day 14 of your cycle. The egg is released from the ovary and transported along the fallopian tube into the uterus. If it experiences a workable sperm along the way, then fertilisation can take place.

You can now see why so many movies and tv programs depict women calling their spouses home from work, once the time is perfect.

It's worth noting, but that semen Are pretty hardy and can live for up to five days. They are loitering in your uterus, planning a sudden attack in your mature eggs.

2. The Third And Final Phase

Now, a fertilised egg will locate its comfy residence and embed itself in the uterine lining during implantation.
Dwelling in the uterus, another hormone is released, human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG).

If the egg has prevented the semen, then the Remaining follicle cells shrink, and hormone levels fall. This sets the trigger for the uterine lining to be released from the human body, and menstruation begins.

With a little understanding concerning the Fertility cycle, let's now consider the symptoms we could anticipate between days 14 to 28 of our period, and whether they signify pregnancy or never.

Take Note
Remember, some of the below symptoms can be experienced, whether you are pregnant or not.

1. Abdominal Cramps

Tummy cramps are something most of us are used to every month. For some, they are mild and manageable, for others, excruciating and painful.

Cramps are also quite regular during early pregnancy. You may feel these cramps as a mild pressure or a quick sharp pain. They might even be contacted as soon as the egg nestles into the uterus, at about 6 DPO.

Your womb can grow quite rapidly at the early stages of pregnancy, bringing with it these uncomfortable feelings. After all, it's preparing itself to home your baby for the next nine months.

2. Pinching And Pulling In The Abdomen

In addition to getting stomach cramps, several women describe a feeling as their muscles are being stretched or pulled. Some feel as though something is pinching them within their abdomen.

These feelings are quite reasonable and can happen from six days past ovulation and onwards. Even though this could be somewhat uncomfortable, it should not be painful. If you are experiencing painful cramps or bleeding, contact your OB provider.

3. Frequent Urination

Although, you won’t be reaching out for the pack of adult diapers or letting out a drip when you cough, sneeze or laugh. You could, however, experience a frequent urge to pee a bit more often than usual.

It is partly to do with these sneaky Hormones, yet again. They can make your blood flow to kidneys faster, filling your bladder up with more urine.

4. Increased Sense Of Smell

Your sense of smell will surely increase. Be it bad or good, is an increased sense of smell, which might be evident from day nine post ovulation and onwards.

Just the odour of coffee or fried food delivered me running into the bathroom.

5. Tender Breasts And Sore Nipples

Are you waking up and finding your breasts are a bit more tender than usual? You might even find your favourite, most comfortable bra doesn't provide you with any relief.

This is among those earliest signs that a new life is now growing within you. You can experience this from the very first day of post ovulation and keep right throughout your pregnancy.
All these are symptoms you might generally experience around the time of ovulation anyway, whether you're pregnant or not.

It's due to the surge in hormones I referred to. However, it is likely to be more exaggerated than usual, once you're pregnant.

6. Fatigue

Those same hormones might be at it again, which makes you feel extra tired. All the physical and hormonal changes going on in the human body are making it work harder than usual. Though you're sleeping loads, possibly even more than usual, you still have no energy.

While these pains are usually nothing to worry about, if you are concerned in any way, it is best to see your doctor.
