A a two term former governor I believe is not a political novice. If you believe any candidate will tackle all Nigerias problems squarely you're building castles in the air. I wouldn't vouch for his competence and capacity to deliver but no other candidate in the race has demonstrated so much enthusiasm as Peter obi and it's the only way you'd know a candidate is genuinely interested in his people. If you go to most tertiary institutions, except the trees every other thing bears tetfund tag from furniture, building and vehicles. Maybe their salaries should be payed through tetfund too.

the government sees that borrowing to construct rail to Niger is more important than borrowing to pay lectures and no one can make them think otherwise Chris Ngige was clear on this, that government can't borrow to pay lectures.

It was only reasonable they took what ever was offered to them and open negotiation with a government that values education. In the end they all smile home and the students? Must lost a semester or two, owing rents, been rushed by the lectures to round up a semester work in two weeks.
