Father254:Take your own advice and stop saying what you don't know. Court marriage or no marriage at all gives no advantage in courts when children's wellbeing is concerned. If you are a poor man, you are safe and you can have as many kids as possible and not cater for them. But if you are rich and your babymama is educated, you will be forced to pay child support by the court. If you refuse, you run the risk of being jailed. The only way to stay safe is to NOT have children. |
okoroemeka:It is child support and not alimony. It is easy for a poor person to prefer jail over giving up money. The actor has himself to blame for not planning for bad times. |
GIFTEDPLANNERS:I don't think you understand your own argument. If computer village is not a market, then it is an illegal business place in a residential area! That gives the Lagos state government the right to move it anywhere it likes. |
Onanuga is either ignorant or being stupid. Nobody is under any obligations to accept "invitations" from law enforcement agencies in any country governed by civil laws. The police only have the power of arrest with or without warrant depending on the context. |
No need for explanations. Just form a political party for indigenes only and get the indigenes to vote for indigenous candidates. Problem solved. |
gaby:This is funny coming from someone who either doesn't understand or deliberately misinforming others. Dangote can never forgive himself for venturing on this refinery project or even siting it in Lagos. But na God wey go catch all others like him catch am because he believed so well in his infinite "Any Government in Power" patronage and waivers. This is further proof of my suspicions above. Before engaging in speculation and crying on behalf of Dangote, try to understand the industry first. Dangote is a private business person and deserves no special consideration from the government. If Dangote did his homework, he wouldn't have any problem running his business since their is no ban on exports regardless of the government in power. What I find funny is that many emergency Dangote lovers never cared about Dangote's business, many even hate it for "monopoly". If Dangote cannot reach an agreement with NNPC on subsidy pricing, then he should go ahead and export all his products. That's huge forex for the country anyway. |
Sonnobax15:Are you the husband? |
Candidlady:What is your business with this? Are you the groom? |
etrouble:The university is not the VC's personal business. I have no problem with the provost suspension or removal from the administrative role but it is draconian to suspend a co-worker for non loyalty from a public institution. The suspended professor was employed by the university and not appointed. |
The Vice Chancellor, Lagos State University, LASU, Prof. Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello, has approved the interdiction of the Provost of the Lagos State University College of Medicine (LASUCOM), Prof. Biodun Adewuya, on grounds of insubordination, unauthorised disclosure of official information, actions prejudicial to the security of the university and the state, divided loyalty, and conduct unbecoming of a public officer.Who exactly was he supposed to be loyal to? |
MadPolitician:As I said, you guys make a perfect rube for the western propaganda machine. Of course, they are very smart such that he outlandish claims are made by unregulated and unaccountable non-profit and thinktanks(aka unofficial spy networks) instead of official government institutions that can be challenged. These organisations refuse to answer the most important questions on how they come across their wild speculations. What is the source of these funds, what is the destination and how they arrive at the real ones being stolen? They expect you to accept their statements uncritically and they usually get what they want. This reminds me of the missing $40/$20 billion dollar according to Sanusi which the media latched on to without questions. Not a single person was indicted for even 1% of the imaginary missing money. The funny thing is that these media houses that you take their words as divine are distrusted by at least 50% of their host country's population. When you have a genuine source for Nigeria earning Trillions of dollars, then, we can have a real discussion. Hint: The source of an article doesn't matter. It is irrational to accept wild claims without evidence. |
Content creator. |
MadPolitician:No informed person will take you serious with the nonsense above. Just like the politician, you rely on widespread ignorance to maintain your false expertise. |
clark0:It is Ortom's company and not Ortom. A company is a person on its own unless directly managed by Ortom itself. |
CLRF:Nowhere in my post did I say otherwise. NAFDAC says the products are not registered. That is enough to shut down its production and prosecute the manufacturer. My grouse is with dabbling into "fake" miracles claims. It is none of NAFDAC's business as such claims are unscientific. |
Saintinoo:Imbe cile. NAFDAC or any food/drug agency in the world cannot test for miracle claims. In your extreme ignorance, you think NAFDAC will gather barren women and then give them the "miracle water" for proof. Immediately I saw "efficiency of the products" in your post, I knew exactly who I am dealing with. ![]() I only replied to save some readers from falling for your gibberish post. Next time when adults are having a discussion, just shut up and read. If you still don't understand, ask for help. SMH. |
Tallesty1:Why not resign or shut down your business to prove that your kids are more important? Well, only working parents of little kids can appreciate the value of day care. |
Jokers everywhere. 'Deve' has always been illegal but it is impossible to enforce the ban because of the risks to the defaulter and their properties. |
Shadomaan7:Do you even know what a VAT is? |
This press release should have focused solely on registration/non-registration status of the consumable products. NAFDAC has no business with miracle or magical claims speculations. A smart lawyer will make the miracle issue a red herring and may get the case destroyed based on technicality. NAFDAC has already answered the most important question. Was the product registered, NO. Then the next step should be arraignment and prosecution. |
This is what I find frustrating with government agencies which incompetently choose to dabble into irrelevant issues. NAFDAC has no business with miracle or magic claims. This press release should have focused solely on non-registration of the consumable products period. No investigation required, just charge the manufacturer to court for non-registration with NAFDAC. At the end of the day, a smart lawyer will make the miracle issue a red herring and may get the case destroyed based on technicality. NAFDAC has already answered the most important question. Was the product registered, NO. Then the next step is prosecution and arraignment. |
Shadomaan7:Why not travel to each farm every month to source all your food needs. It is not that hard to do. Some of the farms are located in Sokoto, Benue, Plateau, Kwara, Ogun, and Ebonyi states. With this approach, you will get the real price of each food item. |
Urgent1Million:Reuban Abati is either intellectually challenged or just want to further confuse the rubes who throw away all their reasoning when spirits or gods are mentioned. If Abati is reappointed to serve another president again, he won't think twice before jumping into the "occultic" Aso Rock once again. |
Photoshop from a novice. |
erad:If you receive a message that you just 10 million but need 1 million deposit to clear it. Do you rely on your personal experience to accept or reject such deal or the unwarranted "fear mongering"? If in a public transport someone mentioned they have a bag filled with dollars in the booth to be shared by willing passengers. Do you rely on your personal experience to join or reject the sharing party or people's "fear mongering"? Suppose you were paid via transfer for a goods or service. Do you just accept the SMS alert as payment evidence or you go for secondary verifications based on "fear mongering" that the alert might be fake? |
Yes. It is very easy to take decisions that are hard on others but beneficial to oneself. |
Thundafireseun:A single federal police means only 1 chance of police reform across the nation. But a state police provide 36 opportunities for reforms, hence a very high chance that at least there will be a few successful cases to emulate. Now, who is the real dullard, Mr attention seeker? |
Okortor:Why did you assume that their location is the problem? |
If Burkina Faso doesn't want anything to do with ECOWAS, it would have stopped crying about ECOWAS every other week. You claimed you have left, yet you can't make any policy pronouncement without mentioning ECOWAS. ECOWAS should emulate the EU where countries beg to join instead of the other way around. Shame on ECOWAS for foolishly doting on the Rogue countries rather than wait for the perpetual complainers to come back begging. It is only a matter of time. |
This Chinese want to burden us with another set of loans. |
Omoapena:People go to the mountain to do evil to people too. They just don't do it themselves, they rely on prayers to their god. They want their enemies dead, their competitors invalid and their haters humiliated and the list goes on. If you think the above is not evil, then Portable has not done any evil by merely "fortifying" himself. Imagine someone related to you sees this video and also start looking for ways to approach herbalist all because he thinks he can't make it without approaching herbalist...Imagine someone related to you thinks he can't make it without seeing a prophet, pastor or paying tithe? As for me, I don't care what someone does related or not as long as they are not committing a crime. |
