Kidnappers of two Oodua People’s Congress members and five farm workers at Eliasa farm in the Igbodu area of Epe on Tuesday have demanded for the ransom of N350million before releasing the victims.

Reporters learnt that the kidnappers contacted the manager of the farm through the phone of one of the victim’s on Wednesday and asked for the sum of N5omillion each for the seven victims.

In another development, one of the suspected kidnappers who participated in the abduction of the secretary of Isheri North Estate, Mr. Dayo Adekoya has been arrested in Ogijo, Ogun State.

The 38 year old Joseph Omoni was arrested by the operatives of the Intelligence Response Team (IRT), the suspect also confessed to have participated in the kidnapping of the Turkish School Children and that of Aisha Ali Balogun along the Ikorodu- Mile 12 road where one person was killed and nine people including children were kidnapped.

Two houses built with the proceeds from the illicit business with one of his gang member identified simply as Aka Chairman were sealed in centaury village in Ogijo, Ogun State by the police authority. Efforts are however in top gear towards arresting other fleeing members of the gang who are all native of Ajgba Community in Ondo State.

A source from Igbodu who spoke with newsmen on phone on the kidnapped OPC members and farmers said, mobile Policemen and Anti-kidnapping Squad have been deployed to the community to rescue the kidnapped victims.

He said: “we cannot take laws into our hands. The kidnappers have taken us for granted, to avoid chaos I and the officer in charge of the anti-kidnapping visited the Oba of Ikosi Ejirin who promises to reach out to the governor of the state for prompt action in the area.”

‘’I want the Lagos State government to pay more attention to that part of the state, because after the dislodgement of the kidnappers from Arepo and Ikorodu they have seen Epe axis as their next area where they launched attacked.” According to the Assistant Inspector General of Police zone 2, Mr. Kayode Aderanti, ‘we are going to rescue the victim’s alive.

He said: ‘’ we are doing everything to police that area, because the major problem in that part of the state is that porous nature of the area that give room to the kidnappers to thrives.”

Aderanti added: “we we’ll police that area twenty four hours every day and my advice to business owner, school operators in that area should be security conscious and do their background check of anybody they want to employ.

“We are also going to do our own job to see to release of the victim without paying a dime to the abductors.” It will be recalled that the gunmen numbering about 15, dressed in military camouflage stormed the farm situated along Ishiwo road around 7am and abducted the OPC members who work as security guard in the farm and five workers.

How often does this happen?? Try to stay awake all night and see if it still gonna happen..You can put ur lights on..set you system camera or any other hidden camera and see what will happen when you are awake the next day..but I only think it's an insect or reptile..stay blessed!!

I don't know for girls ooooo. I have an iPhone 6 and I hate it . My s5 which I used and dumped is far better than my iPhone 6 . I don't even think the iPhone 7 can compete with my note 5 . I can list countless reasons why an iPhone is far superior to any android.

As a person who has both an iPhone 6 and a galaxy note 5, I can say, categorically, that iPhone is just too overrated. It hangs like the old bb phone . If not for the somehow hood hardware apple employs, iphone would have been worse than the old bb. I only use my iPhone for making and receiving calls . The screen is sub par compared to what I have on my note 5 . The browser on note 5 behaves better than that on the iPhone which becomes flaky when handling site consuming much resources . The WiFi hotspot is a joke . There was a day I plugged my iPhone in the shop and I was outside with my note 5, when I wanted to attend to customers, I discovered my phone was not connected, I checked my WiFi, it was on, and when I got inside the shop, the phone was reconnected . Just imagine , for a distance not up to 5meters . My small chinko phone was left in the car outside my gate and it was still connected to my phone when I was in the room.

To use your hotspot in iPhone , you need to swithc on your Bluetooth and WiFi . What a wack product !

You might be a very poor dude. I have an iPhone 6 and a samsug galaxy note 5, and I can tell you iPhone is useless. It hangs like there is no tomorrow. Open some sites that take much resources and watch it being flaky. Then open up to 20 of the same sites on your older android phone and you won't even notice anything. Iphones are just too overrated . As for me, iPhone is just good for taking pix, playing music and maybe play some games. But if you need your phone for work, just get yourself a good Samsung galaxy phone with at least 3gb of ram and you won't miss your PC . iOS is just like the old bb OS. The only advantage iPhone has is that Apple is rich and can afford to put in some good hardware, otherwise, the old bb would have been better .
