femdot: Please, who knows how I can change the school name on my visa. I had 3yrs study permit for unizulu but intended to go to UKZN because I now have their anticipated firm offer. You can't change it. You've got to reapply for a new visa and attach a letter stating your reason(s) for changing your mind. You should note that if your study permit does not carry the name of your intended university of study, the international office of that university will not clear you. |

royalkonsults: Bro, sorry to disappoint you! You cant make a withdrawal with any of those cards here. You can only swipe for payment using POS. Source for your Rands in Nigerian Airports, still though cheaper, at least few thousands of rand. You can actually do cash back transactions at retail stores like Shoprite and Pic 'n' Pay, subject to the monthly withdrawal limits on your card. |

Americans are not used to despotic leaders and that's the difference . You have to be in America to see the kind of opposition the Racist pig is facing. The White House of commotion is crumbling. Typical. Liberals and their insatiable craving for drama. |

modath: Some nitwits (NL resident chronically embittered & disgruntled elemets) rejoicing in this ban have no idea of the far reaching effects of what this power drunk crazy mofo has done....
A professorof Molecular Genetics from Switzerland who happens to hold an iranian passport was among those banned from entry into & this is someone knee deep in research for cure for Tuberculosis & Diabetes..... How is this OK
Pentagon, Joint Chiefs, Homeland Security were not consulted before emperor baby fists swung into motion, now he has left poo for them to clean up... Frantic efforts are already being made to get waivers for people from these countries acting as spies & translators for them....
In all of this, it speaks loudly that Saudi (Terrorist.com) UAE, Qatar and co haven't been included.... Business/ PROFIT over EVERYTHING ..., Trump really echoes the sentiments held by some peeps...
There is no way this won't be blocked!!! No way!! A loud voice isn't necessarily a consensus. Given, the executive order could do with a little tweaking, but the content does resonate with the opinions of a majority of Americans. And truth be told, unless you are a member of the American Supreme court, your assertion that this particular executive order will be overturned is merely wishful thinking. |

Well, the fact is we are yet to see a country in the world that got better through prayer. As a matter of fact, the most economically stunted and socially repressed countries also happen to be among the most religious. One of the major weakness of religion is that it has way too many similarities with opioids - gives you a sense of wellness by diverting your attention from your problems. |

ijustdey: if 7 out of almost 25 banks in the nation did fail this test......
then I ask where is capitalisation that prof soludo did during his time and our financial institutions is really in a messy state for First bank to be mentioned in the list. The major reason FBN is on that list is because a huge chunk of their underperforming loans are dollar denominated. One can only imagine the kinda stress the bank is going through now, given the recent devaluation of the naira. |
Education › Re: Why Is Student's Loan Not Obtainable In Nigeria? by iWise(m): 7:52am On Oct 11, 2016 |
Goddys: I sat in deep thought with many things running through my mind trying to grapple the reason why things and state of affairs are 'specially' harder in Nigeria.
One of the things my mind was ruminating on was the absence of Student loan in Nigeria financial institutions to help students who are financially handicapped. I have read on the internet, magazines and other publications where it was highlighted on the availability of such loans to students in other climes.
It is glaring that Nigeria government is not doing enough when it comes to its responsibility towards education sector and this can be seen in the light of the above position. A society that does not value education is no better than a barbaric society of neanderthal era. Thus the need for revolution in Nigeria education sector. University tuition is already heavily subsidized at the federal level. Lack of student loans is definitely not one of the many things wrong with Nigeria's education sector. |

Donald Trump was anything but subdued. A bit irritated? Yes. He looked more like a man who wanna get a lot out of his chest. CNN and the rest of the liberal media are clearly biased. My take is they so badly wanna hijack the decision on who becomes the next American president from the American people. So freaking biased! I get disgusted sometimes listening to the views of the leftist political commentators on some of their shows. I have two words for them "Double Standards!" |

The OP appears to be an easy going person, who abhors confrontation. From the little info available, the guy knows this and is foolishly taking advantage of her "niceness". Under the given circumstances, the best person to solve this problem is the lady's husband, not her. Because that dude has no respect for her and any confrontation between her and the dude can get ugly very quickly.
Madam, if your husband can afford to pay the dude's house rent for a couple of semesters, I suggest you try to convince him to do so. No point getting all worked up over his lazy ass. |
