PoliticsRe: SSS - Arik Incident Caused By Mentally-unstable Man by iyes(m): 10:15am On Oct 24, 2012
It has been said that every information is false until officially denied.

Denial is Nigerian government's method of handling negative issues. was Abdulmuthallab not denied? up to this moment, our Federal Government is still denying that Boko Haram is a terrorist group!

Let them continue to play the ostrich and hide their heads in the sand while the whole body is visible outside, instead of thoroughly investigating the guy, checking on his background for the past one or two years; his contacts, activities, places he's been to, his bank account funds sources and target of spending etc to pick all his collaborators and sponsors; if he is a terrorist, or keep him in mental home or assylum if he is merely a mentally sick person.

Study of lost civilizations and mythologies, astrology, mysticism, spiritism, sorcery etc may make you wiser in the world view, but certainly will make you foolish in God's view.

What has the way people called God matter over many millenia as long as they are referring to the Almighty God, the maker of heavens and earth? Don't you know that the Bible was written over thousands of years in many different and evolving languages? So, that someone called him Lord, another LORD, yet another Jehovah, and others God is an issue, when all of them have worshipped the same Almighty in truth and spirit?

Have you forgotten that except by His Spirit, you cannot get anywhere in your quest? How rational is it to study civilizations and works of men, and reject the maker of man Himself?

In Yoruba language for instance, He is known by many names and Titles; Olorun, Oluwa, Olodumare, Oba Orun, Eleda, Aseda; Oba Oke, Orun etc. All of which may be used in different contexts, but ultimately refers to our only Holy God Almighty!!!

Wisdom of men = foolishness of Godliness. Foolishness of Godliness = wisdom for man. It's a mystery that only those who serve God truly and accepts his ways and plans for our salvation through Jesus can understand.

I thought freedom of speech, expression and association is a fundamental human right of all citizens. Why should PDP expect and ask that ACN.and Justice Salami be deprived of this right, while they are busy exercising it all over the place, especially with INEC and Tribunal officials everywhere?

If a media giant outfit like the Sun in England can be closed and its officials jailed for secretly tapping other people's calls, then Oyinlola, Oni and all PDP stalwarts in Osun and Ekiti states should be behind bars by now. If it's true what they are claiming, it means they themselves have provided ammunition to nail them, by confirming that they commited a crime of eavesdropping or tapping other people's calls!
That's a crime! For crying out loud, you just can't use a criminal means to obtain legal end! He who comes to equity must come with clean pairs of hands.
PoliticsRe: Why Is Eastern Nigeria Silent On Fuel Subsidy Removal? by iyes(m): 10:06am On Mar 05, 2012
How myopic can anyone get to say that since they have not been buying fuel at N65/litre before the strike, they are least concerned about fighting the unjust and unsubstantiable increment?

If I may ask, who are the people selling petrol for the Igbos at N150/litre instead of N65? Are they not the same Igbos doing their fellows in for the sake of excessive profiteering? Why do others sell to their brothers at official rate and the Igbos do otherwise, only for the same people to complain here? When love for humanity is sacrificed for love of money, then who's to blame?

Again, what it takes for evil to succeed and perpetuate is for good to keep silent. Now that Igbos keep silent in the face of injustice - since events and facts have emerged to vindicate that there was no subsidy, all that N1.3T or N1.7T is money spent by Jonathan to prosecute his election- will keeping quiet reduce the pump price in Southeast?  Is it not logical that if you fail to protest, those shylocks that sold petrol to you at almost tripple the price will not keep it at N150 any longer, but simply go overboard again?
Christianity EtcRe: Jesus Wept - John 11: 35. Who Can Explain Why? by iyes(m): 6:43pm On Mar 04, 2012
To all doubters and confused about Jesus:

Eeeyaaahhhh, sorry o!!! My sympathy is all I can offer for now.

However, if you're speaking from a sincere heart about your predicament and lack of His knowledge, and not from a position of self justification and haughtiness. If you are truly asking questions out of poverty of His revelation knowledge with honest desire to know Him, and not from a position of cynicism, then you're sure He will help to update you. He is at the door of your heart, knocking, and if you usher him in, he will gladly come, and save you.

Unless you are in the Spirit, you can't understand anything of our Christian God. Not an iota! It's a simple matter, He can only be worshiped in truth and in Spirit. Note the combination -"AND"

But one day, surely you will meet and know Him, I pray that it won't be too late by then.

His ways are not are ways, His thoughts are far from ours the way heaven is far from earth. However, God made himself flesh to dwell amongst us, to bridge the gap between us, and prepare a sacrifice for remission of sin ONCE AND FOR ALL. A sacrifice that is holy, blameless, sinless and impeccably acceptable, that can avail for all mankind forever. A complete reverse of what a single person named Adam did, bringing condemnation unto the whole human race by his sin of disobedience. Jesus undid the damage by doing the exact opposite.

Now, it's left to anyone to accept that offer of forgiveness for free, or cling unto Adam's condemnation. It's a freewill choice by everyone, but with dire consequences in the aftermath. But why is it easy for people to accept that through one person, Adam, God's condemnation came to the human race, but that God's justification can't come thru a person? Devil's logic!

But in the end, the final analysis is that Jesus is a stepping stone to some (who will humble their hearts and knowledge at the feet of Holy Spirit) and be saved. Conversely, He is a stumbling block for others who reject him. He said so Himself. One day each person will find it out whether He is right or wrong. But one assurance I have is that He has NEVER been wrong on any matter. No need for quarrels or argument at all.

However, the Word of God sounds a note of warning to those who think that they have knowledge of the world and beyond; He has made the wisdom of the world to render the "wise" foolish, and made the seemingly foolish things of God's principles wise. A test of this is very apparent, the wisdom and knowledge of the world order is in direct opposite and confrontation to those of our God. Example; the world says save so that you can prosper, our God says give so that you can increase/prosper.

Verily I say unto you, Jesus Christ that you find illogical today, you will find that He's correct and right while you were the one wrong all along - either while still alive, or when you die. The only difference is that there is no repentance after death.

Choose ye this day, whom you will believe.

Thank you.

Wonderful!
Imagine what will happen if this is allowed a strand of action, when other parties will call for records of discussions in all the PDP states, between Presidency, Governors, Ministers, Commisioners, Police & Other Security formations and INEC officials at all levels?

If all these are unearthed, can PDP still wait? Can they stand the backlash of can of worms that will be exposed for all their massive rigging machine?

What makes PDP think that they can win a free and fair election in any part of the West, with the shambolic performance and glutonous embezzlement of public funds? In all honesty, Beaf should compare governance under PDP with ACN.and say which is better in all the Yoruba states.

The truth is that ACN's performance is the reason why the party is gaining more grounds outside the Southwest now.
Christianity EtcRe: Jesus Wept - John 11: 35. Who Can Explain Why? by iyes(m): 2:53pm On Mar 04, 2012
Jesus wept because of the level of unbelief of the people around there, not necessarily because of Lazarus himself.

Imagine when he arrived, with all the miracles he had performed in the past, one would expect the whole place to erupt in shouts of joy, that the Christ and Messiah has come. Instead, they were all still engrossed in sorrow and weeping. Even Mary and Martha were not different. They doubted His ability to ressurect Lazarus. That's why they said he would not have died if Jesus had come earlier! Meaning they believed Jesus could heal him when he was still sick, but now that he was dead, no hope anymore!
Even the Centurion who was not a Jew and a follower had more faith than those who had followed him for years.

It must have too disheartening for Jesus, and he was moved to tears, wondering what level believers he would leave behind. Imagine if only Mary & Martha had had the kind of faith of the Centurion, they would not have asked Jesus to come over before healing Lazarus. Apparently, they had been sending messages to Him to come when their brother was ill, and Jesus was too busy until 4 days after Lazarus died. Suppose their message was that Jesus should command from wherever He was, that Lazarus should get well (just like the Centurion asked) the guy would not have died. Even Lazarus himself, if he had had enough fate in his friend Jesus, he would have asked for that type of absentia healing, and Jesus would have obliged!

Jesus simply wept at the huge level of lack of faith that surrounded the incidence, before and after Lazarus died. A case of people perishing for lack of "knowledge" (faith)

PoliticsRe: Pdp, Oyinlola Sue Mtn For N150b Over Call Logs by iyes(m): 12:32pm On Mar 04, 2012
What a perverted country, where those who are supposed to be serving jail terms for electoral frauds are the ones persecuting the actual winners? Oni and Oyinlola are basking in the error of our constitution that did not prescribe any punishment for electoral fruad, whereas all other forms of fraud have specific punishments.

I do not understand our judicial system or what PDP are trying to say. Is it not the same system that discharged and acquited Ibori on 178 counts only for the British to nail him on just 13? The guy pleading guilty on all counts by the time they got to 10 out of 13!

Now, if I get what these guys are saying correctly, they mean; yes we cheated and rigged the elections, but our opponents discussed with the judges, therefore we should be declared the winners, and our opponents should be jailed!

In all their arguments, I've listened carefully so far, there is no where they have countered ACN on point of law, or debunked the proven anomalies upon which their elections were anulled. Instead it's fallacy of evading the issue, and sheer digression they have employed.

If I may ask, if your opponents are talking to the judges, what stops you from talking to them as well? That is if you have anything tangible or valid to say!

Which of these is more important to determining the winner of an election:
1. ACN- uncontovertible evidences of massive rigging through; multiple voting and ballot stuffing where only one fingerprint is responsible thousands of PDP votes, record of election violence and ballot snatching, fake voters registers where you have names and pictures of people like Mahatma Ghandhi, Martin Luther King, Mike Tyson etc. Over-voting where number of votes cast for PDP alone is more than the whole registered voters in most wards where they won, even without the votes of their opponents! Award of votes in favour of PDP in places where elections did not hold due to violence or non arrival of voting materials/officials or where ballot box had been snatched away. Invalid Results sheets where only PDP agents signed as against those tendered by ACN- where all parties signed. Use of photocopies of result sheets thereby having most result sheets of PDP having same serial number, whereas no two sheets from different wards can have same serial number! Etc, etc, etc

2. PDP - says opponents discuused with judges! Therefore they are the winners.

It baffles me that PDP can be so shameless in these two cases that instead of burying their heads in shame, they are busy rabble-rousing. Everyone remembers Ido-Osi saga in Ekiti, where ACN. was leading on counts of all local govts (despite all the above named anomalies of PDP) by 11,000 votes, somehow the result of the LG (where both Oni & Fayemi came from) was delayed and by the time it was released the result was 99% in favour of Oni. That in itself is no problem, it could happen except that the number of votes recorded for PDP was more than the entire registered voters! So a re-run of the LG was ordered, and on that day, only 2,000 votes were cast. Authentic result sheet was signed by all parties agents, only for a fake result bearing PDP's signature alone given to the Resident Electoral Officer (Mrs Ayoka Adebayo) allocating over almost all the 12,000 votes to PDP and less than 500 to ACN. We all knew how she refused to accept or read it, claiming good conscience, and how she was whisked to OBJ's farm in Otta for 2 days, and how she managed to accept it afterwards.
Is that the type of prop PDP wants to base their elections victory on?

Or is it their model in Osun where the Tribunal refused to accept ALL exhibits and proof of ACN. Including forensic evidence of multiple voting, fake voters register, use of photocopied result sheets, votes allocation where violence or absence of election materials/personnel did not let elections hold, PDP got over 20,000 votes in OAU Ife alone, the little snag is that the school was on holidays during the elections and that number was 4 times the number of registered voters, yet Tribunal refused to allow Aregbesola tender the evidence, instead ordered him arrested for forgery!

Kai, I feel nauseated by all these pranks by PDP men in Osun and Ekiti, people in saner climes, who should be doing long times by now. It's a pity.

Third class in some universities will beat first class of others flat in Nigeria.

Forget about statistics, ratios and percentages. Figures in themselves don't tell the true stories, and can be manipulated to achieve any end.

Take a quick check, ask HRs of any company in Nigeria and they will tell you which school's graduates pass their entrance tests more.

Another way you can judge the quality of a school is to check how many of their alumni you find in companies.

How do you expose a pastor without criticizing him?

The very idea of pastors worshippers is that we should not "judge" by criticizing a pastor whenever he errs. And that they should be left alone to continue with whatever they do, and wait till God will punish them (which may not be in this world). Meanwhile, they would have deconsecrated our society and world unabatedly.

Yoruba says "k'ile to pa osika, nkan rere a ti baje". Translation: Before nemesis catches up with the wicked, irrepairable damage or loss would have been suffered.

What is the difference between exposing bad deeds of pastors, and judging them?

Truth is very bitter, so it was for me when i was lost but thanks to the Grace of JESUS CHRIST that saved a wretch like me that thought I was on the right track! I'm humbly still learning and leaning of the Grace of JESUS CHRIST by the moment. . .

Righteousness exalts a nation is in your Bible! When the wicked are in power the people mourn but when the righteous are in power people rejoice also in your Bible!

And before you forever be a baby of a supposed man of GOD, wake up my brother, the special gifts of JESUS CHRIST to the Church (Apostles, Evangelists, Prophets, Pastors and Teachers) are for everyone or each one of us not some few men like Pope, Oyedepo, TD Jakes, Adeboye, Oritsejafor, etc.

Ephesians 4: 7-11 "And there is no seniority or hierachy in Christianity: JESUS CHRIST said so, not my opinion. Matthew 23:8-11 (we are all brothers and sisters) this is not also my opinion. . .

Stop being a follower of mere men like you and I but that of JESUS CHRIST The Universal Head of The Church. . . Who you and I need is The SPIRIT of The Living GOD or The HOLY SPIRIT or The HOLY GHOST for help, Counsel, Comfort, etc and not and never mere men like you and i. . .

When did "Touch Not" my annointed turn into "Speak Not" or "Rebuke Not". . . Touch not means in Pidgin English "Make you and I no touch am" or in Yoruba "Ma se föwö kan". . . That was why David did not touch Saul when he had opportunity to kill him, but did he rebuke Saul? Yes!
Did Paul Apostle Rebuke Peter? Yes!
Did JESUS CHRIST rebuke and even Curse Religious Leaders of the Temple? Yes!
Christianity EtcRe: Nairalanders Incurring God's Wrath By Abusing God's Men by iyes(m): 10:18am On Jan 26, 2012
No pastor is more "man of God" than you and I before God.

On the judgement day, we will all be given the same treatment. No partiality.

And when did abusing pastors become equivalent to abusing God? Pastors worshippers should wake up and repent from their idolatory practices. They should read the history of christianity well and know that if everyone had their disposition, they would not be practicing any form of pentecostal christianity which their "gods", the sleek pastors have used as a platform to fleece them. They would have realized that a certain Martin Luther challenged the church hierachy of his era to open the eyes of the people to corruption and evil being perpetrated by the so respected pastors of the day.

As far as I know, the only source of curse is abusing of God, not fellow humans like any pastor. Come to think of it, how did Jesus react to the pastors of his era? Did he not incessantly abused and confronted them when they erred? Was it not the reason they conspired to crucify him, just to hide the truth? Where do pseudo-christians of today get the injuction that they should revere their pastors? And that they should not criticize or abuse them from? Certainly not from the Bible!

Don't quote the passage "touch not my anointed, and do my prophets no harm" to me, because it's been used out of context to the advantage of these pastors, whose actions are condemnable.

Truth is bitter; the reason is high rate of illiteracy amongst Igbo men.

Check out the demography of Ibos age 15-45, there are more percentage who are illitertates now than when the Civil war was fought.

The issues of FSR and Occupy Nigeria goes beyond just the price of fuel, and only the educated and enlightened can have an indepth understanding of them. Since most of the back home can't grasp the ideas, they found it hard to buy into it.

What they fail to realize is that no matter how rich you are in cash, if you are illiterate, you are still poor. Also, when a man neglects to liberate his society from injustice and corruption, no matter how much money he makes personally, he has sold his coming generations off.

When are African leaders going to start doing the right thing? That country is not smaller than Cuba both in land mass and population as well as natural resources. They could have built at least one world class medical facility that can treat the president. If Cuba is renowned for their world class medical facilities, why not Guinea Bissau? There are 3 types of lies;
1. Lies
2. Damned lies
3. Statistics!

Mr or Mrs Thor,
I can see you an agent of the fuel cabal against the people of Nigeria.

Raw statistics, when used in isolation is the purest form of lies ever, as it amounts to distortion of truth, while having the appearance of truth itself!

How can you attempt to pull wool over Nigerian's eyes by dishing out such malicious raw data in isolation of prevailing circustances in both countries?

How much are the minimum and average wages in both countries?
What is the situation of transport and power supply in the two countries?
What is the percentage of Britons who MUST by petrol daily just to survive - either to transit from home to work, or to keep their businesses afloat via generators?
In which of the two countries can a citizen not buy petrol for a whole year, and still live (a normal life)?
Apart from fuel, what other service or provision does Nigerian government subsidize for the people?
In which of the two countries does the govt subsidize agriculture to ensure food is cheap for the people?
Between Britain and Nigeria, where does the govt provide housing for the poor?
Same for the elderlies?
Which of Nigeria and Britain does the govt pay unemployment benefits?

Nobody will bother if trains run in all of our cities, and also connect all out states' capitals. So that people and goods can transit cheaply and easily - like in other countries.

Likewise, if we have 20 out of 24hrs power supply.

It is crazy in a country where 100% of the citizens and business rely on daily purchase of fuel for someone to make your kind of illiterate and blind comparison.

People with this type of reasoning are the cause of impunity culture by our political and religious leaders who just ride rough on the people's head without ant sense of remorse or decorum, yet get rewarded with national and chieftaincy awards, instead of being jailed.

Nigeria can't develop with this type of mindset. Not a curse. I'm sorry for my beloved 9JA!!!

PoliticsRe: IBB Fires OBJ Again! by iyes(m): 12:47pm On Aug 22, 2011
IBB started duplication of govt agencies where there're Ministries saddled with the same functions, thereby abandoning/neglecting the trained professionals in the Ministries to rot away, while siphoning & wasting away.
What is the outcome of all his house of cards now? MAMSER - Ministry of Information, DFRRI - Ministry of Works, Ministry of Agric & Rural Devpmt, NDE - Ministry of Commerce & Industry/Ministry of Sports & Youth Devpmt.

He bastardized Civil Service by introducing Directors who are non-career people, usually political appointees as overall bosses over Permnanent Secretaries who were career officers & formerly the bosses in Ministries. The effect is erosion of morale professionalism in Civil Service. Also it created 2 bosses, installed non-stakeholders with no track records as CEOs who loot the MDAs during their tenures & move on to another after wrecking where they left.
Besides these, it overbloated cost of governance unduly all because he wanted to create "chop" for his cronies. All of these were when he deceived Nigerians that Govt could not cater for their needs, and that we needed "leaner govt". Instead he interpreted that concept upside down. Whereas it means reducing the organs and offices to cut cost of governance while still carrying out the functions efficiently, IBB's leaner govt was reducing govt's responsibilities while increasing cost of governance!

What of the issue of "Office of First Ladies"? Before him, nothing like that existed, and there is no where in the world where it is practiced. His wife, Mariam started and glamourized it at the people's expense to no positive contribution. Don't tell me about her pet project of "Better Life for Rural Women" for it was a ruse to steal and waste money. Their meetings were held in NICON-NOGA & Sheraton hotels with wives of Governors, LG Chaimen, MDA Chairmen etc in attendance. They would buy farm produce and bring to such fora for exhibition in front of TV cameras. Kai, great fraud, while nothing happened to improve rural women's means of livelyhood. They still could not afford to send their children to schools or get better accommodation at the end of the day! Once in a while, they will sink a miserable shallow borehole in a community where pipe borne water is their need. These borehole usually dry up within 1-6 months of ceremonial commissioning. There were cases where they did not find water, instead they brought water tanker to fill the overhead tanks just for the commissioning ceremonies purpose. Where are those today? Meanwhile water-works and dams built by colonials & 1st/2nd republic leaders are the only sources of pipe borne water till date.
To add insult to injury, they were built at more expenses than those dams!

Mariam had an office, with all the paraphernelia and appurtenancies of an elected governor. It was the begining of lobbying wives of people in offices in order to get what is due you or your community. She decided who got what, where projects were sited, which states were created and where the headquarters were! She had Aides, Advisers, Special Advisers, Assistants, Special Assistants on every imaginable matters.

It was unheard of, unimaginable, and repulsive. But shamelessly, IBB counted such profilgacy as his "social engineering" project!

Can anyone tell/show me anything that guy planted that was not with fraudulent intention? Or nything he initiated that had an iota of honesty of purpose?

He ruined and poisoned the basic social fabric of this country, in addition to negatively altering the thinking and psyche of the people, forever! That is apart from economic ruin he caused.

If you don't believe. Compare his reing to Rawlings in Ghana, they were in power at the same time. The results are different today when you consider the type of foundation each of them laid, and the impact their policies have on their people and next generation.
