oladayo042: Oga boss, it's been a very long time.
If you are very confident that the keywords have no commercial value, please don't buy it. This conclusion is actually easy for me. The fact that over ten thousand people search for the keywords on Google doesn't automatically make it valuable. If the domain is a dot com, ask yourself why it is available till date.
The major reason why end users buy names is to build businesses on it. A 10,000 search volume keyword with no commercial value is not a good buy, in my own opinion. I will provide an example to buttress my position.
DownloadPDFConverter dot com is currently available (01/04/2015 at 9:23 pm) and has been like that since June 2012. This name has 12,100 search volume, $0.23 CPC and the keywords even have some commercial value but no one is interested in taking it till now. Why? Though the keywords have some commercial value, that value is very low. The service that the keywords describe is a low value service that has tons of competition. (Caveat: Though I won't buy this name, I'm not asking anyone to buy it.)
Above all, please remember that this is entirely my opinion, which may be wrong. Please take it with a pinch of salt. The domain is a dropped .com, I don't deal on other extentions for now. Thanks for this robust response. |

Oladayo, I can see you are now helping to put the new guys (I hate using the word "newbie" ) through. God bless you.
BTW, I found an exact match domain with over 10,000 searches in the entertainment niche. But from my research, there is not much commercial value attached to the key words. Probably, the people who type in the phrase, just want to get some free info. Can't find no advert on google for the phrase but the keyword tool put the CPC at 0.92. I know there could be some IM gurus who could make some money on the traffic that this name could get with some advance techniques. Do you think I should buy this domain (with respect to the ease or difficulty of flipping)? |

Romance › Why Women Want Bigger Bums by Iytech(op): 12:16am On Jan 26, 2015 |
The desire to get a bigger bum by many young women of today’s world has been on the increase year after year since the early 2000s. I have often pondered on why our daughters, sisters, nieces, girlfriends and wives would really want to make their buttocks bigger. This trend could however be traced to the enormous influence of the media on the minds of women all over the globe. Female celebrities with more developed backsides like Jennifer Lopez, Nicky Minaj, Kim Kardashian, Beyonce and our own Mercy J and Omosexy, often generate much interest on television, radio, magazines, fashion shows and on the internet, with most of the attention being consciously or unconsciously centered on their bodies, and where else than on their body curves and behinds.
These female stars are mostly portrayed as beautiful, attractive and desirable and are often seen as role models by young women. This is the major reason why many big companies and brands would frequently engage these female stars to advertize their products and services. Ask ladies and they would sincerely tell you they will give a lot to get a bigger bum and look ‘hot’ like these celebrity women.
A young woman may also like to get a bigger bum as a result of the male factor. By the male factor, I refer to the fact that men are known to be fascinated or at times held spell-bound at the sight of the body of a woman. A survey recently revealed that the butt usually attract the most interest from men in the general appearance of a woman. It is not unusual for a man on a date with his female partner, who could be his wife, girlfriend or fiancée to steal glances at the bigger bum of a woman walking by. If the object of interest of his eye movements is noticed by his partner, anger and may be stirred up in her. Maybe men shouldn’t really be blamed in this regard, as they are naturally wired to see more endowed women as more feminine. It is also true that the more endowed women tend to make dresses look much better. In a nutshell, the same natural instinct which makes most men crave a more muscular body and a broader chest can also be attributed to the female desire to get a bigger bum, look more shapely, attractive, desirable and womanly. The rising quest by many women to make their buttocks bigger has led to the emergence of different forms of padded panties and underwear in the fashion market today targeted at the female population. These well shaped foamy panties are worn to give the illusion of a bigger bum, which no doubt will attract the lustful eyes of on-looking men. Even though, these fashion accessories may help some women look better, nothing can ever be as good as the natural human flesh.
These are just a few reasons why women crave bigger backsides, I know there may be a few more. Do you think these reasons are enough to justify why some women would go extreme lengths to make their butt bigger? |

This question is for MK82, Sarahn or any other experienced kindle publisher here.
Do you guys write your kindle books in American or British English? Does it really matter, since the book can be bought from any part of the English-speaking world? I do know Americans don't really like or totally accept the British English as correct. |
Business › Re: Making Regular Income Publishing Amazon Kindle Ebooks by Iytech(m): 3:18pm On Jan 07, 2015 |
Sarahn: Iytech
Gotta warn you, my opinion has never been pretty. if you can't take a harsh critique, it is better you don't read ooo...
THE GOOD...
It is a good thing that you were just flexing your design skills.
THE BAD...
It is Kindle Direct Publishing not kindle Publishing. This distinction is VERY important.
Your pen name sucks. No one(referring to customers of your book such as expert indie publishers as well as the newbies who will know it is a pen name) will take a name such as Dr. Randy Donaldson seriously.
Dude, Randy = rake. Americans have a corrupt mind, they would be too busy laughing at the pen name to take you seriously. Use the name if you instead selling something of an e.r.o.t.i.c nature.
If you want to know more about pen names,I have given link on kindle crusher. Better still, ask mk82 for advice.
subtitle Huge income is too vague... How can you say MILLIONS, then contradict yourself by writing HUGE INCOME? Be specific. For instance: Kindle Cash Generator: How I make $1000 a month with KDP.
THE UGLY...
The title is misleading and incorrect. The last I checked there was only one person who hit the millon dollar mark in KDP and it was John Locke. But after taxes, and other expenses, it was no longer in millions . In other words, Millions in KDP ONLY is unheard of. Else it would be news.
The cover art is too bland. It looks more like a poster than an ebook cover. The unprofessional fonts you used mismatch and does not provide a contrast.
Try reducing the pic to a thumbnail size. What did you see? Me? I just saw blue.
SUMMARY. Change the pen name change the title and subtitle. Resdeign the cover and make it more sensual.
Harsh? That just the way I roll...
Happy Publishing! Lol Sarahn. Your criticism could make a straying dog retrace its steps back home I didn't actually put much thinking into making the title and subtitle sound logically right. Maybe I just wanted to make some exciting and outrageous headlines, like a typical info marketer putting out bait lines to make some good sales. Yes, the pen name doesn't sound professional like you said. That's also becos I didn't put much thinking or research into it. Just some random picks. However, I would say bland isn't bad. I think the three major features of a cover are; sharp or bold background color, bold fronts to convey the message easily and an appropriate image to represent what the title is talking about. Thanks for taking out time to express your thoughts. Appreciate. |

ferhyntorlah: @twosquare, yeah I agree it isn't a MUST for one to be skilled in graphics but for me, I feel it's better. That way, you get to cut costs when the cover isn't too complex. It's just my opinion, strictly mine. There are times one may need the services of a skilled designer but for that book cover I saw, the designer isn't a pro. Anyways, what do I know? Bestlyf: Yes, you can. mk82: I know someone who published about 90 books in 6 months and they are all quality books. That is almost 4 books per week. It is possible if you have the knowledge, practice time, the required writing/editing skills and the correct strategy. You also need a lot of cash and a good team of freelance writers. Sarahn: They have included it. Just got my bank account added. Haven't withdrawn yet. Cos I am too chicken to try... I posted a cover design I did a few days ago and asked for opinions about it. Please u guys shld let me know what u think about it na? |

mk82: For those of you that have started working on books, ensure your research is properly done. Don't just 'think up' a topic to write a book on. Make sure you research and find a keyword that is selling on Amazon kindle. Even if the niche is popular on Google or clickbank, Amazon is the ultimate test. Another tip: Avoid niches where all d bestselling books are by celebrity authors. Hi MK82. Thanks for the great work you've being doing. How do you know if there are celebrity authors in a niche you wanna go into? what exactly qualifies an individual to be regarded as a celebrity author? |
