Crime / How To Report Scammers by izito(m): 9:33am On Oct 10, 2020
*Have you mistakenly or greedily sent 50k to get 100k in 5 minutes and then later realized that you have been scammed?*
And the scammer even went on to rub your ignorance on your face too??

*Good news to you,*

Please follow the below steps and pray fervently too

*HOW TO RETRIEVE YOUR MONEY AFTER YOU HAVE BEEN SCAMMED.*

I am sharing a knowledge today on "Tips on how to retrieve your money after you have been scammed".

Please read careful and learn.

20% of social media users and shoppers have been scammed at one point or the other, either large bucks or small money and It's quite painful.

Many people don't always know what to do, so today am sharing with you things you do, when you realize a page you paid for a service or goods is ghosting you:

1. Screenshot all previous chats across all messaging app (IG and WhatsApp or FB).

2. Write out the Full name and account number of the page or person.

3. Go to the last notification your bank sent you after you made the payment (via mobile app or text) copy out the "TRANSACTION ID NUMBER".

4. Go to any branch of the scam artist's bank (the bank the scammer uses), ask to see the CUSTOMER SERVICE in charge of FRAUD.

5. If you can, print out all those chats with the scammer, and submit it.

While you are there, send an email to SCAMMER'S BANK and copy CBN FRAUD DESK (anticorruptionunit@cbn.gov.ng) this will ginger the bank to take it up fast.

What should you expect from this? The culprit/suspects account will be PLACED ON HOLD. His BVN will be blocked permanently. No account will ever be opened neither will he be able to transact banking business in that name until he clears himself with the bank.

Meaning he/she cannot transfer or withdraw until they visit the bank, and when they do, the bank will contact the police and the suspect when proven guilty will sign a waiver allowing the bank to refund your money.

Endeavour to Share with Friends and Family.

Family / 22 Year Old Girl Drowned Her Baby (see Her Reason) by izito(m): 8:43am On May 13, 2020
A 22-year-old lady, Adisa Funmilola, has drowned her baby because she prevented her from going to the university to study law.
According to Vanguardngr, she drowned the one-year and six months old baby inside a bucket of water in her apartment at Plot 22, Gowon Estate, Lagos, on Monday, and then reported herself to the Police.

During interrogation, she blamed her action on frustration, saying her baby deprived her of actualising her dream of becoming a lawyer.
She explained that she was impregnated by one Yusuf Folarin, while both were attending a JAMB class at City of Success in Abeokuta, Ogun State.

However, Folarin denied it and request that the pregnancy be aborted. Along the line, she said she was offered admission into the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, to study Law, but had to defer the admission because of the baby.

Surprisingly, Folarin did not show remorse for her action.

She said:-
“I killed my baby and reported myself to the police. I filled a bucket with water, dipped her inside and held her head until she died.

I did it for three reasons. First, I didn’t have the financial might to take care of her. Second, I was tired and frustrated. But the most painful reason is that she deprived me of actualising my dream of becoming a lawyer
I would have aborted the pregnancy, but my father advised me against it. The person that is responsible for the pregnancy rejected me. I live with my sister, who has no job and I am also not working.”

Asked if she was aware of the magnitude of her offence, she gave a wry smile, and muttered: “The most important thing is that I have killed the baby.”

Her elder sister, who expressed shock at her sibling’s action, said she was at home on the day of the incident, but never knew what the latter was doing until policeman stormed their apartment.

She said:-
“I suspect she is mentally deranged because our mother had a similar mental issue before she died.”

The Police said the suspect undergo the psychiatric test but that will not stop her from facing the consequence of her action.
