Sometimes ago Buhari appeared in an NBA conference with a very controversial speech heavily touted within the legal circle, to be the brain work of a Cambridge trained lawyer (the late Abba Kyari) his then chief of staff, in his speech Buhari was astute in avering that "national interest supercedes rule of law", I tell you for free, that even though the greatest hurdle that assertion has before it till date, rest on the integrity of who determines it, dull Buhari has left a swab in our constitution law, that the learned profession is finding tough to operate, with more scholars queuing behind it the more the argument is been brought to the fore.
The manifestation of today is just a case where that very assertion comes to prey.
