Career / Re: As A Director, Sack Any Employee That Behaves Like This by IZZIFLOW(m): 6:41am On May 09, 2016 |
charming1111: In every organisation in Nigeria, the love between supervisors and “eye service” is same as the love between Nigeria and fuel scarcity. If you can stop Buhari from coming to Nigeria as a “visiting president” then you can separate supervisors from “eye service”.
Except the GOD OF SHILOH is on your side, getting a job in Naija is like winning N10,000,000 from nairabet. It’s very difficult!!! There are alot of graduates in the labour market who have been job hunting for decades but are still unemployed; that’s why, the few who are employed, protect their jobs the same way Claudio Ranieri of LeicesterCity is protecting the English premier league title.
Finally, God has answered your prayers! You just got employed and as custom demands, the organisation would train you on her vision as a corporate entity and how you should treat her customers. But then, nobody will teach you about POLITICS IN THE OFFICE.
It is clearly written in the book of Matthew that, where 2 or 3 are gathered, there’s bound to be a PDP and an APC member, that is to say, politics in the office is inevitable. It has eaten so deep into supervisors such that they forget about the corporate goals of the organisation and they start chasing after frivolities.
A supervisor once said, “Subordinates who ask after my family and call me while am on vacation, their appraisal score must be higher than those who neither called me nor asked after my family”........can you imagine? How does calling one’s supervisor while he/she is on vacation, affect the goals of the organisation? This is a clear show of misplaced priority.
In most organisations, subordinates who are experts at “eye service” are always in their supervisors’ BOOK OF LIFE. They are untouchable! Surprisingly, these set of employees are not efficient/effective on the job; all they know how to do is, “eye service” It’s really painful to see hardworking employees being BLACKLISTED by their superiors all because they focus on their jobs and they little or no time for eye service.
During retrenchment, most supervisors are guilty of sentiment. They would submit the names of effective staff that are not so good at “eye service” and retain ineffective employees who are only good at game of “eye service”.......just imagine!!!
Although politics is part of our everyday life, it is ideal for supervisors to focus on achieving the goals of the organisation instead of being distracted by “eye service”. In the same vein, as an employee (a subordinate), even if you are extremely good on the job, and you hate “eye service” with passion, once in a while, play the game of office politics. Remember, you must PROTECT your JOB, because, it is easier for a CAMEL to pass through the eye of a NEEDLE than for a YOUNG GRADUATE to get a JOB in Naija.
As a director, all “eye service” seeking supervisors should be cautioned; else, this attitude would negatively impact on the organisation’s brand and profitability.

alexistaiwo: I think it is high time we started paying closer attention to the fact that Man City players are in the habit of snubbing Ihenancho whenever he scores unlike their habitual mobbing of other goalscorers. Even Arsenal Legend, Thierry Henry once made a comment about this same issue what do you think? ` great great player...its not the first time they are doing it..but yesterday Navas assisted him and only pulled him up...notin more |

Adesiji77: A Nairalander took the pictures below around 11.45am today near Our Lady Of Apostles Bus stop, along Odo Ona Apata Road, Ibadan.
The guy (with a red backpack) wore a pair of roller skate shoes and held on to a moving "okada" motorcycle. Was this due to fuel scarcity or just for the thrill of it?
He eventually "alighted" on the other side of The Palms Shopping Mall, Moshood Abiola Way (Ring Road) and appeared to have brought out his wallet to pay the Okada rider
The Nairalander was equally in a moving vehicle at the time, as such, he could not take much clearer shots.

DonDraper: Story about a Corper who was posted to Abia. When I saw the State in my call up letter my heart literally melted courtesy of previous stories. Strangely camp was interesting especially the "Ochendo Boys"....lol. After 3 weeks in camp I was posted to an Autonomous Community. When I got to the PPA, I just didn't want to go in because of the school's condition. Few months I fell in love with the students in the school even with no reason especially with their poor academic performance. I decided to think of a way out on how to help them. Then I came up with a "Base Word Spelling Challenge ". After much preparation the challenge went on with so much excitement from amongst the students, prizes were given (one term scholarship, school bags, books and pen). 1 Like |

Romance / Re: Ladies: 7 Ways To F** Your Man And Make Him Worship You by IZZIFLOW(m): 10:11am On Mar 04, 2016 |
LizzySabi: Your man is not the sole provider of pleasure in the bedroom. Sometimes, being the sex boss from the female perspective can be the perfect way to spark your love life and drive him crazy. Take control tonight and satisfy your man in ways he cannot imagine with these relationship tips below.
1. The Cowgirl The Cowgirl (Womenshealth) This is the go-to position for women who want to take control while giving themselves the ultimate pleasure. Why? Your man gets to see your sexiness as you ride him, you get to touch yourself to orgasm and you feel like a sexy kitten.
2. Reverse Cowgirl The Reverse Cowgirl (Womens Health) Just because you are a bit shy does not mean you cannot dominate. This way, you can hide your face and still show your man your really hot behind as you screw his brains out.
3. The Face-off: The Face-off (Womenshealth) This position offers a special level of intimacy. You hold your man in your arms and ride him to bliss. In this position, the guy sits on a chair or edge of the and you straddle him.
4. Hovering Butterfly Hovering Butterfly (Womenshealth) So, MouthAction is your thing? Then you can be the boss while he does that too. Hold onto a wall or headboard for support as you straddle his face. You can let him do his thing, but if you are really in the mood to dominate, then have him bring out his tongue while you straddle his face till you almost collapse with pleasure
5. Pole Position Pole Position (Womenshealth) This is absolutely perfect for clitoral orgasm. You basically straddle his bent knee and grind to your heart’s content.
6. The Hot Seat. The Hot Seat (Womenshealth) Usually popular among anal sex lovers, but also a must for the dominating woman. While he sits, you straddle him while backing him and get bouncing.
7. The Lazy Man The Lazy Man (Womenshealth) Let your partner really relax by placing pillows behind his back and having him sit against them with his legs outstretched. Then, once you’ve lowered yourself onto him, you can press on the balls of your feet and release to raise and lower yourself as quickly or slowly as you please.
